Need SCH-R760 SG2 FF24 Modem

If anyone could please post or direct me to the FF24 modem for this phone. Long story short after a non locking GPS I used a USC ff18 to get back to stock and for the life of me I can not find this modem anywhere.

Are modem's carrier specific? Even after flashing back to ff24 no data. Apn is correct, and no help from Cspire Wireless.

[Q] (Answered) Why do I have an I747M on AT&T?

I searched around for the differences between the I747 and I747M, and apparently it is the location... That brings up my question.
I got an I747M, but live in the US and am with AT&T. Should I be worried about anything?

EDIT: I have found that it is because I flashed KyanROM, which changed it from I747 to I747M. Is there any way to revert this change? I did try to change it in the build.prop, like a bunch of places said, but when I did, the phone would get to the Samsung screen the crash. I did a nandroid restore and everything was fine, except it is still showing I747M.

So what modem would I flash? The I747 or the I747M?

It is no big deal I am with rogers and I flash i747 ROM all the times on my i747m
If a flash aokp or cm10 it shows i747 but if I flash stock it shows i747m. It doesn't change your modem or anything.

Flash only modems that are for your carrier.

The reason I asked that is because Kyan ROM is based on the 747m firmware. It still works with the 747, but the build.prop shows it as a 747m.

Exactly. Look at the title in the Kyan forum... notice the M after the 747?.. so.. youve entered the world of ROMs?.. time to study!! Read read and read again my friend or youll get flamed like crazy around these parts. The answer to this question and probably all your questions are available in Kyans forum.. theres a thing called the OP that has all the info you need about the ROM you flash.. make sure you read it in its entirety atleast twice before flashing , sop. The OP is the very first post.. also, how to get around your issue and get the AT&T bloat back is also found in that forum.. theres a search function that will reveal all your questions and dreams.. its like magic except its just the search function.

Thanks guys, I feel a little bit better about it now.
I am only worried about the model number, because I can't download any of the AT&T stuff from the market because it is restricted from I747M's (as they are Canadian, and AT&T has no use on those devices). Is there any way to change it back to I747 and get rid of the M? @daddymatt, I have spent a good 30 minutes searching, and can't find any way to revert it.

You will need to use a i747 based ROM.

You've just made a mistake editing the build.prop. keep trying. Just keep a good nandroid handy. I don't know the exact edits because i haven't the need to do it, but i know your on the right track.

I've tried so many things, I just don't know anymore. I have tried just about everything I have found online too. I am even doing a cache clear before and after changing it.
If you have a link or ideas of what to change, please let me know. I am about to give up because I honestly have no idea where to go from here.

Try changing device id to I9300 instead of I747. It's the international version and will serve the same purpose. Don't know for sure if this'll work, but i think I've seen it somewhere else.

How many lines in the build.prop did you change? I had to change 4 in order to get Bell mobile tv working while running an AT&T rom. Try this, change
- ro.product.name=d2att
- ro.product.device=d2att
- ro.product.model=SGH-I747
- ro.build.product=d2att
This should make your phone think it's an AT&T phone again, remember keep a nandroid handy just in case...

[Q] How to upgrade to 4.1.2 through PC and not OTA?

So I've got the AT&T Note 2 unlocked through a code from them.
The AWS unlock band works great with my T-mobile plan.
Except my software is at 4.1.1, I can't update without a sim or with the T-mobile one.
Anyone know of a trick or way to do the software update for this AT&T phone

There must be a easier way though, for AT&T customers who had trouble with OTA update, im sure they probably providd a procedure for a direct update through some software

Forget stock roms. Just flash as AOKP rom. It's much better.

so im still looking for the updated AT&T stock rom.
im using AT&T Note 2 on T-mobile but would like the multi window feature, etc. I am rooted, prefer to use the stock roms due to less issues vs testing custom roms.

Yeah I plan on keeping stock AT&T Note 2 rom, but have the AWS band unlock so I can use this on T-mobile.
I am hoping this will move me up to the latest updates and still in keep intact my setup for the T-mobile setup I have running.

Yes. Just don't flash anything with a modem or firmware. The kernel should be ok. I'm able to flash the T999L kernel on my T999 so it probably works both ways. Not 100% sure though.
Your wifi/wifi calling may stop working on another rom, but I may have a fix for this, so let me know if it does.
Ill be posting a lot more info on the T999L in my thread too, so keep an eye on it!

Only mine. Well ill be updating links in about a half hour or so when I get home.
Other t999l users have flashed other roms though. You should be fine.

None. Lol!
Only because they are all cm or aosp based, which I haven't used in a very long time.
Be careful askin for recommendations btw. Quick way to get flamed and thread locked.
Just gotta read the ops and find one that matches what you want.

Better modem

Greeting all. I am running a Galaxy Note II stock/rooted AT&T 4.1.2.
My signal seems to drop out frequently when I am traveling and I was wondering if there were a better (subjective I know) modem than the stock one. Thought I would give it a try to see if it helps ease my signal drop.

What ever modem came with MrRobinson's root injected factory stock ATT Rom. I believe it is I317ucamc3.

If I am looking at the right thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1986480 ) there appears to only be one other modem for ATT (UCALJ2). Am I not looking in the right place?

MC3 is the latest modem, J2 being the first release

Mr. Robinson has not released a root injected UCAMC3 build to my knowledge. ..but I wish he would. ..as it would greatly simplify the return to stock method for this device. .
But the delay from time of release to the posting of builds on the sammobile website is nothing less than ridiculous. .
And I'm sure once they get it. ..Mr. Robinson will create another excellent resource as he always does. ..g
