There is a board for HTC HD7 section.
Which bootloader version du you have?
just check SPL version on your device (go to bootloader, turn on phone with hold volume minus and power button)
when you known SPL, downgrade it to 1.69
if version of SPL 5.x, you must first flash this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1411904
if during flash get invalid vendor ID, you must debrand your device with Y-USB cable and goldcard
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1371073
after you downgrade SPL to 1.69, flash HSPL
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195647
and custom ROM...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523991
and voila your phone full unlocked and you can give root access rights to apps...

Hi, I searched but couldn't quite find the anwser.
I am sending in my Vogue back to BELL for a warranty replacement. I have unlocked the phone and installed a custom rom (NFSAN 1.31 Bell).
I unlocked the phone using coke 2.31, and I need to relock and install the original Bell Rom before I send it off for warranty replacement. Any help is appreciated, as I don't know how to relock the device. I have the latest Bell rom ready to install, but I dont want the load screen to show coke-2.31 when it is being assessed for replacement.

Search for a vogue relocker.
Put this into google: "vogue relocker xda ppcgeeks"
without quotes, should pull up anything about a vogue relocker on ppcgeeks and xda. if i get some time i'll search for it also later tonight, but don't count on that!!
also before you relock it, you'll have to flash to bell's stock 6.1 rom.
search htc.com for that.
if you look good enough for those, you should find it.
I was able to relock the device by installing the coKe 0.40 unlocker, and then installing the stock Bell rom from the HTC site on top of that. It seems to have worked.
Is there any other way to verify that the device is locked and in its original state? How do i enter bootloading state without actually installing another ROM?
SPL-2.01.0000
CPLD-3
Is what the bootloader displays. I assume this means the device is in its original state?
press and hold the power and camera button and hit the soft reset button. Keep holding the power and camera buttons and it will bring you to the boot loader screen. I don't know what it should say if it's locked though

I have only recently found this site and I would like some information regarding flashing my Rhodium with a Hard SPL
Do I need to unlock the device before a Hard SPL flash. My device is on a t-mobile contract but it has worked with an O2 simcard.
Is there a set of instructions for flashing a ROM. I read that I need to be connected to windows mobile software but some of the hard SPL seem to be an exe file while others are RUU.

1 : dont need to unlock anything. (i installed Hard SPL on an HTC HD from Orange without problems)
2 : As far as i know, there are no Hard SPL for TP2 (yet).
But it shouldnt be any different from other HTC phones around.
Instructions for the TP (NOT TP2, so dont try dont download this HARD SPL, its just an example) are on the Wiki :
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Raphael_HardSPL
But to sum up, yes you need to have your phone plugged into Activesync, then run the EXE file from your computer. It will then display you the instructions steps to install Hard SPL.
It takes 5 minutes, and its easy.
The only requirements is to have at least 50% battery.

once hard spl is realeased for tp2(currently work in progress) there will also be a security/sim unlocker available(not sure if will be free). some phones need to be security unlocked prior to flashing. all tools needed to flash will be provided. most common are via custom RUU but there may also be a micro sd methos as well. your phone seems to be sim unlocked but may need to be security unlocked before flashing new roms. put phone in boot loader mode(hold vol down and power up device when off) and it should say security unlocked at top if it is. if it doesnt say that they it may need it.
Htc Blackstone is closest device in terms of compatibility with tp2 so check in that forum so any further explanation on whatever issues you may be confused about!
my phone says, ' Rhod 100 32M SS-BC', but no mention of unlocked.
Hello guys, my sisters WFS is on build 2.26.707.2, could anyone guide me on how to s-off the WFS? the whole bootloader part i can't understand but recovery i do as i'm using a galaxys2.
The only way to S-off the GSM variant ATM is via XTC-Clip...............For know the only free way to root is by unlocking the bootloader.
To see if your current software is unlockable....Switch on your phone while holding the Vol down key.......this will result in opening the bootloader........if it says LOCKED on the top..........then your bootloader is unlockable
Proceed to step 1 on HTCdev, com

There is no way to S-OFF without an xtc clip regardless of what you're currently running. Fortunately you don't need to S-OFF in order to install custom roms, like csoulr666 said you'll need to visit htcdev.com and follow the instructions there. That will unlock your bootloader, but also invalidate your warranty.
For unlocking only
Try this link for unlocking without voiding warranty.
Hello.
For 2 days now, I have been trying to unlock a DHD,with not much luck so far. (AAHK being disabled just when I needed it.)
I am now trying to use the official HTCDev bootloader unlocker, but it doesn't seem to work either.
So far, my rom is still stock. (The phone tells me it is :
sense 3.0,android 2.3.5, ver 3.12.405.1 ,
HBOOT 2.00.0027
Radio 26.14.04.28_M )
The phone was never branded or somlocked.
It SHOULD be supported by HTCDev. However, when I run the RUU update, It asks me if I want to go from 3.12.405.1 to 3.13.000.0
I say yes.
The phone reboot to Fastboot, and then I get an error 191, saying that my rom is not supported and I should wait for an update.
Since it supposed to be supported already, there will be no update of course.
Earlier, I had tried to manually downgrade following this guide :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424023
I had gone to the end of the guide, having the message "your card is now gold",but couldn't seen to use it to downgrade. (Is there a specific way to use a goldcard ? I just got to bootloader and it seems to load something ... but in the end the hboot version doesn't change.)
I kept the goldcard as it was, and used another micros SD.
I did a factory reset before trying HTC dev unlocker.
Now I am a bit lost. I have tried to find what to do by reading posts, faqs, and generally searching here ot with google.
But I seem to go from outdated to incomplete guides, and / or lack the basics to understand what I read.
Does anyone know what my next step should be ? What could prevent HTCdev unlocker from working ?

You need to update your hboot for HTCDEV tool to work. I don't know why but the links in the site seem to have been removed thou the link is still alive.
Try to use this tool (that will guide you through the process) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2133336 or use this tool (that will unlock the bootloader, flash CWM recovery and root) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2169515

I tried both those utility, but they merely download and launch the same RUU update. It will detect a 1.00.000.00 image version, try to update to 3.13.something,and then tell me it can't due to unsuported rom.
I think the problem might be that I switched my version 1.00.000 manually when I was trying to downgrade. I'LL try reversing that, but if anyone has another idea, please ...
Edit :
Nope, still stuck.
I changed back the misc version to 2.00.0027, but the HTC dev ruu update still tells me that my rom is not supported.
Can't update hboot, can't get token, can't unlock

I found what was wrong for me !
It came from my first try at manually downgrading. Except the misc version is not the HBOOt version, it's the rom version. Following the guide, I had set it to 1.00.000.0
I retraced the same step, except I set it to 3.12.405.1 ( the version of the rom ).
And it worked !

No.
After setting the rom version back to 3.12.405.1, I used the HTC unlocker to unlock my Hboot.
The automatic script ( easyUnlock and EasyAceUnlock ) didn't seem to work for me (Error while trying to get root.)
So I just installed Clockwork mod recovery. I don't really need to be root anyway. I just want some JellyBean taste.
But now I seem to be having a new problem. I tried to install a rom ( Wiping everything I can from CWM before ) but my phone won't boot. It is stuck to the green HTC logo.
I will be looking through new post from this forum to try to find a solution, while downloading other roms.
I wonder if some (or all) roms require you to be root to work.

Indeed. Now starting the slow process of finding the right rom.
I will regret not being able to flash a radio ( since I'm not S-Off ) but at least I be able to try new roms.
Thanks !

Well first I tried unlocking it via HTC dev but it would not take the code, so I came to the forums and seen that first I have to debrand it, so I'm stuck at debranding since the phone will not allow the firmware to be downgraded, which i learnt then that id have to force downgrade h-boot so I can downgrade the firmware, thats where im at, stuck at debranding -.-

You don't require to debrand to unlock IMHO...............go word by word on the instructions on HTCdev.com, Just proceed to the steps since you have an unlockable bootloader
