Need to figure out whats wrong with my vogue..help please

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A VOGUE ONLINE IT KEEPS RESETTING ITSELF TRIED NEW ROMS AND THE MINUTE I DISCONNECT THE USB CONNECTION IT RESETS ITSELF EVERY COUPLE OF MINUTES...HELP PLEASE..I WILL BE HERE ALL NIGHT

Alright.
1. Stop posting new threads about this! You are not the only one who has ever had a problem like this.
2. Post the link to where you got the original ROM.
3. Give us a DETAILED overview of what you did. The more you leave out, the less anyone can help.
4. Relax, these things can typically be fixed.

please forgive me i am a newbie and i am scared that i ruined my phone
i downloaded a new radio for the vogue but evidently it was a older version and i wasnt supposed to downgrade..now says "no radio"
i know that i must of broken some forum rules but it wont happen again.....I just need my phone back...

Did you try putting the phone into bootloader and flashing the stock ROM with radio?

i went back and reflashed radio 2.13.00 and now it is frozen at startup screen but the no radio is gone..

Who is your service with? I would like to find you the proper ROM.

sprint for now but want to flash to metro pcs...kinda want to prove that metro can handle a smartphone

Flash it to radio 3.42.50, and install a proper Sprint ROM... you might as well have a working device than none at all.

Finally got the phone to boot
rom:1.12.651.1
radio:2.13.00
when i take it off the usb connection it shuts off after about 7 mins
so i either still have a radio conflict or i am just doomed with this phone...help me

think i may have bricked my phone....

I tried to update my rom...now it gets to the windows mobile screen and hangs.. I can get it into bootloader screen.. The problem is i cant find an original rom to go back to.. my info was..

I can get to bootloader screen hook up the usb and even synk with active synk 4.5 but as soon as i try the start uspl or the ruu my phone disconnects.
This is starting to drive my wife nuts ive been on the comp 4 about 18hrs in two days trying to figure this out...
should i just send it in to htc and have it reflashed???

then once im back to original i need to iemei unlock then i could use the rom in the link that you provided..Am i right??

Try this wwe rom, is for the same region as your device, with cht support, if this doesn´t work then wi´ll try to arrange the Chinese one.

Man, I thought i had it.. It finally went to the ruu on the boot loader screen started to update and got to 2%....
This is what it said
ERROR (244) : INVALID MODEL ID

at least i got to see the ruu on the corner of the phone this time.
Any ideas what to do now?

I arranged this rom "P800_CHT_3.7.709.1 chs cust", i think it´s this one, it´s the most recent, , for p800w.
Though this one is CHT, CHS customized.

Havent quite figured out how to change out the nbh in the ruu to get either of those to load like complete ruu..
Is there a program that makes this more idiot proof to change the nbh?? That would be nice.
Type nbh in.. it takes you right to it highlighted, then it has you copy your new one and paste in a command line then asks if you want to replace it..
Man thats what sucks abt being a newbie is that it takes sooo long to figure things out 3hr 20 min and still at square one..

[Q] Change ROM without using the display

Hi guys,
so, this is indeed my first post here. But the forums helped me a lot with playing with my Desire.
But now I have a problem for which I cannot find help anywhere, neither here via the search nor Google. I really hope you would be so kind to help me find an answer.
This morning I dropped my Desire Nothing really happened case, but the display won't work anymore. When I start it I feel the vibration that indicates the system start, and I also see the buttons under the display lighting up. But the damn display itself stays black. My best guess now is that the connector between display and motherboard might be disconnected/broken.
Since I hope to get it repaired over warranty, I think the first thing to do is to recover standard sense rom and unroot it. Otherwise HTC wouldn't repair it, right?!
So now the tricky part: how can I do that with an unconnected display? Is there any chance?
Or would you just risk it and send it in rooted and with a custom rom?
What's left to say: It cannot be discovered by my computer since I'm not able to turn it on.
I would really really appreciate any help or inputs on how to resolve this.

I don't know much about OpenRUU, wait for someone else.
Second youtube video doesn't depend on your OS so I would suggest you that solution. However, it requires some interaction with your phone so...
If you're able to find a friend with Windows, that would be win-win solution. Basically you have zero interaction with your phone, just instal HTC Sync (drivers) and plug in the phone.
Since your phone is rooted do not bother about SW/BB version and use RUU ROM provided for your carrier which will restore SW and BB version to the stock. If your carrier sells unbranded Desire then go for the last official Froyo WWE:

If your Desire is branded, find adequate ROM and possibly you'll need a goldcard too.

Fortunately, I'm able to use a WinPC for a couple of days now. So, yay me
Unfortunately, it's not working the way I tried and wanted it to work. Here's what I did:
Downloaded, installed and started HTC Sync, plugged in my phone and powered it on. HTC Sync doesn't recognize the phone
Secondly I downloaded and executed the RUU exe, but it also doesn't recogize the phone.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is it just not working cos I'm not able to unlock the SIM?

Let me make something clear to you! If they do take and repair a dropped phone, they'll not even care to look at the software... Seriously. Warranty is for factory/shipping errors, which were caused by the manufacturer. Good luck convincing them how a factory fault suddenly destroyed your display.
But the easy way of going to stock is to get a sd-card reader and put a PB99IMG.zip in the root of the sd-card and start it up in bootloader mode. It'll flash it automatically.(no need to use a windows pc)

Well, it's worth a try, isn't it?! And to be on the safe side, I'd like to get everything back to normal before sending it in. At least to know, that the SW really isn't the reason why they don't wanna repair it.
And for this PB99IMG.zip, does it have to have exactly this name?

Then I was like yeah that's simple so I tried a permaroot and it froze up on me and rebooted now it will not reboot past the HTC logo screen. I have googled a lot and I can't really come up with anything so I was wondering if this would have to be my last shot. I'm not really familiar with this phone so I don't knjow what to do but anyone know how to fix it? I don't have a custom recovery or rom.... Idk what do... Please help, thanks

You shoudnt have used Visionary . it is well known that it could mess up your phone.
The bad news is since you dont have a costum recovery or eng hboot ,yes you have bricked your phone, but the good news is, now you can fix it by installing the new shipped gingerbread.
but it is not rooted yet ,so you wont be able to root after that,but hey, its better than a bricked phone right?

You dont need to use ADB for this, download the PC10IMG.ZIP put it on the root
of your sd card ,insert the sd card in you phone again, press the volume down button and turn you phone on, while still holding the volume down button ,this will
put your phone into bootloader ,from there your phone should detect the file and will start flashing it automatically ,(it could take a while to finish)
good luck ,let us know how it went.
Edit: forgot to tell you this, you need to rename the file to PC10IMG.zip .

Alrighty then, Raizakins is my gf's username, but I had gotten it done. Everything works perfectly I really appreciate the help, I don't know what I would have done I think I spent hours googling stuff but none of it worked I install adb and everything but it didn't work so this did and I am thankful. I only had the phone for a day too lol

Glad you fixed your issue. But did you miss the stickied thread in the General subforum warning against using Visionary, or just choose to ignore it? Not trying to be snippy or anything. Just trying to understand the thought process, as there still seem to be plenty of people choosing Visionary. Despite warnings otherwise which have been going around as far back as maybe December or January.

Well, I got my G2 Tuesday and I didn't know what I was really doing, my buddy at work told me to use Visionary so I had no clue that it was buggy like that he didn't warn me. That's about it lol.... But as of now, I have no further plans on attempting to root again. And yeah, I saw the stickie and read it while all this was going on and was like "Aw crap".
Edit: I think somehow the temproot and permaroot collided and screwed me over haha!

[Q] HTC Desire HD Stuck On Logo

Hi guys, my brother sent me up his HTC Desire in the mail asking me to fix it. Now I'm pretty **** at fixing android phones so I don't really know what to do. He tells me he started to root it but the cable came out half way through. Don't ask me what he was using to root it because neither of us know.
When I boot holding VOLUME DOWN + POWER this screen shows up:

Factory Reset does nothing.
I think doing a recovery might be able to fix it but I have no idea what to download.
If anyone can help fix this for me I will appreciate it so much, I have been searching the internet for hours and can't find a solution...
P.S. The device won't show up in Odin or in Windows explorer if that helps at all.

He's S-Off. All he needs to do is fastboot flash a recovery.img, then flash a ROM from there and he's good.

I joined that IRC but you never replied. I'll try and read this guide but I don't know how relevant a lot of it is actually going to be.

ok using the following command.
fastboot getvar all
this will help out some what. Does selecting anything in Hboot cause the phone to freeze if not then its just a matter of getting a recovery on. If you do get freezes then it could be borked.

I recommend going to s-off it.Then up another rom see if overcome
