I Hope Everyone Know About The Work In Progress Of CM7 By Madteam....I Want To Inform They Started The Work On May 16 ,2012 And It's Still Work In Progress ..So U Gonna Have To Wait Little Longer For A Perfect CM7 For Galaxy Y.....Full Credits To Madteam...If U Don't Know Then Search Google You Might Find Information About CM7...

I have seen v.1 there are too many things are fixed but they are trying to make a kernel for cm 7 so can be a stable version and fixing wifi,bluetooth,and too many things
graphics are better than beta version of cm 7 they will fix it soon

A complete bug free cm7 will be good. Then atleast we won't be needing ics

I too tried the v1 almost all bugs are fixed but still a few annoying ones are still left!!! :fingers-crossed:

Nice to hear about the development of cm7 for galaxy y. I would be glad if you guys also try it for galaxy y duos. Cheers keep it up.

I think they must have nearly compleated it. Waiting to get CM7 on sgy since a long time.
( I searched most of xda andCM sites for CM for SGY)
Atleast CM devs should have taken a look at the number of threads made on their forums for request to release a official CM for sgy​

Galaxy y & galaxy y duos are one and the same , with a single diffrence of a extra SIM slot.

I just want to have CM7 in order for Sony ROMs to be created too!

Galaxy grand cpu is cortex A7 or A9=A9

I don't know which one believe.. The screenshots reveals that cpu architecture is cortex A9..this screenshots from CPU Z application .. That's y games or apps specially built for A7 architecture doesn't work on grand...

Galaxy Grand, worth the processor or not?

Hi so i was upgrading from the s duos to the grand duos for my dad, i just wanted to know, compared to the s duos, is the phone gonna be good after using it a lot? Like by using it a lot, will it soon start lagging or become less responsive because the s duos was plain crap and got really slow, plus i saw the android development is quite big on this phone, atleast bigger than the s duos which only had 1 rom..
So i was gonna buy this, someone with more experience on this phone help me out on this..

Grand is better than S duos.. Go for it.. If u want flash custom ROM like Cyangoenmod ROM.. It will get better smooth experience than Touch Wiz UI.

I said that because i really need to know this, whatever the processor is, i just cant trust the device working normally after a lot of use
i was thinking of just staying on stock rom but root the device..

there are KitKat roms for samsung galaxy ace-fit-mini and gio, is it possible to port some of them to galaxy Y ?

hardware is limited and besides there is no libraries or drivers for it..

It is possible only when a galaxy y user becomes ceo of broadcom and asks his staff to provide sources....

Just a question, devs made cm work perfectly with libs from Alcatel, why can't we do the same thing with drivers from another device runs ICS and compile cm9-10-11?

Chipsets is different bro, we could just take driver from galaxy grand if taking lib easy as pie :cyclops:

I heard CharsiBabu said in his Facebook that the contract between Sammy and Broadcom has ended. So, broadcom purged all of their sources for our device.

I'm gonna try this bcuz I'm a big phone gamer. Moga controller and all. And bcuz I try literally every ROM that comes out on the 3 jflte s4 threads.
Gotta say before I try it that cm based ROMs haven't been so great for gaming lately as allot of games can't see they're obb files on the SD card for some reason.

There was an error. Its the updater script asserting that its for the gt i9506 ktltexx.
There are 3 phones that roms from the i9505 work on. The call signs are jfltexx jfltetmo jflteatt
I gotta go look really quick but im pretty sure there is no i9506. But if there is this rom would be incompatible with our phone and shouldnt be in any of the jflte threads

Oh it is a phone. Its the galaxy s4 Lte A. Which is basically a release of the s4 version that was only out in korea that had lte A 150+ mbps functionality. Good atleast i9506 exists.
