Me and my girlfriend both recently got the galaxy note 2 with sprint. The issue is my girl friend has PRL number 55015 and then I have PRL 2000.
Also does the Galaxy note 2 let you know when your connected to LTE? I have an Iphone5 that's given to me by my job and it says LTE and changes to 4G then 3G. My phone has only ever said 3G and 4G.
Thanks for your help.

Sprint does not have 4g LTE in my area but US Cellular does, is there a way I can roam off of US Cellular towers for 4G LTE

Im sure that might be an option once sprint launches some LTE devices but don't quote me on that.

No probably not as there are no roaming agreements on 4g sprint was talking with big red but probably will never happen as different freq and VZW don't want to anyways they would have to be forced by FCC

I noticed att also has 4g not lte but just 4g in my area, would be awesome to hook up to it
I could be wrong but I think our phone will not have a Sim card either which will probably not allow hooking up to the att version...somewhere it said Sim less lte about our version of nexus

I can't get 4G LTE to connect with my GNEX. When I was on stock I got 4G LTE, since I rooted and started using ROMs I haven't been able to get 4G. I switch the data switch to LTE/CDMA and never get 4G. I tried updating my profile, prl, radio, everything. I get decent 3G speeds but just wanna know the reason why I don't get 4G. Is it the Roms? Or..
BTW I'm in San Antonio, Texas and we do have 4G LTE here.

Well wasn't running it then but am now. Make a nandroid and flash jellybro? Try that see if that works. If so then CNA has an LTE issue.

Will do that right now. Got time.
Hopefully it's just CNA.

The lte towers in Texas are wonky as hell. I've had 4g on and off at my apt since July 10th or so but it never stays on. Search the market for an app called Sensorly. It is the most accurate LTE map I've come across. BTW I think sprint users should start getting on their asses about this. The whole reason I upgraded from epic is because they promised it in Dallas etc by the middle of July. But you can tell by lookin at the true coverage area that its just a joke to them.

I thought all at least most of San Antonio would have 4G LTE. Sprint 3G speeds are fine, but every other main carrier has 4G. Sprint's slacking. On the coverage map for the 4G LTE all of San Antonio is highlighted. So untrue. I know it just launched and is still kinda new, but i haven't even gotten a chance to use it or test it.
We're from the same city! I thought I should just trow that in there! Flash back to stock and if it keeps happening just go to a sprint store

Does your 4G work?
And wooooooooooo, Go Spurs Go!
Sprint 4g LTE is working here in Houston
~Samsung Galaxy SIII (SPH-L710) - Blazer ROM v1.6 - TWRP~
I'm saying its not on at all.. but the coverage isn't anywhere near what it should be. At least in the dfdub.
I bought the Nexus before Sprint came out with LTE but I made sure it was the LTE / GSM Version. Had LTE for a little while but it seams like it has completely gone away. Is it the phone , network, or is Sprint throttling my speed and kicking me off 4G LTE because I download to much?
Anyone else having this problem or experienced anything else like this?

I'm sure its sprint since their network is the worst ever.

there is no LTE/GSM version of the galaxy nexus. you have the CDMA variant.

Ya it isn't your phone, its definitely sprint. They're currently in the process of upgrading their network so coverage is a little spotty. Check out s4gru.com they have all the coverage of sprint and have a detailed list of cities currently undergoing network vision upgrades.
I checked sprint site and it says I am covered and I have had the coverage and now its gone so weird.

I have a Sprint nexus and REALLY bad service in my area, and no 4g what so ever.. So i had to go and change to a verizon prl, and my service is great now but I would still like to have 4g. I've heard from a mix of users in the android development section that they had 4g with verizon prls, and most said it wasn't possible. Can anyone tell me if i can use 4g with a verizon prl or not? Thanks
Not possible. you won't pick up verizon 4g with a sprint nexus
As far as I know, it's not possible since both carrier use different frequencies for 4g lte.

Has any notice that only the 4g is on could LTE be the new spark service sprint is going to have?
iTz AmAZeD On Note2
Don't think that's possible. Only the HTC ONE MAX is enabled right now, I believe.
No. The Note 2 for Sprint is not enabled for tri-band LTE which is what Spark is. Wait till you hear reports that a tri-band roll out is happening in your area and then look for a phone to support it then.
Oh no I just though that's what it was for I'm happy with my note 2
iTz AmAZeD On Note2
So you got Sprint Spark out of a new 4G icon? How'd you put that thought together? The 3G icon also changed I guess that means we have Evdo Rev.B now too huh lol
