Okay, I've done the thing I shouldn't have done.
I was trying to install a custom rom using CWM, but failed, and it got stuck at the sony logo.
Went through the wiping procedures and factory reset, now not sure where this will head to - is it gone for sure?
(Apparently my back up failed too, as I can't find my backup file)
Now trying to repair using PCC. Any advice? Step-by-step procedures will be appreciated.

Phew... it was a journey into the panic zone. *sweatz*
Managed to repair the phone via PCC, but my earlier root was gone.
Had to pull out the battery in order to force the phone into a power off mode, so that it can be updated by the PCC.
Thankfully the phone wasn't bricked!~

can you tell me exactly what you did to repair it using PCC? every time I try it says I modified my phone so I can't repair it
This was what I did..
Went into the support zone -> choose the update phone software -> Click Start.
Then I followed it step by step.
better for you to download the ftf file
in case you dont have internet connection and something happen to your phone you can flash it offline

Hi all,
Before I had CM10 installed on my LT26i. Then I have installed the prerooted JellyBean software from DoomLorD. The phone started lagging a lot after a while, I had a factory reset on it a few days ago. When I tried to install my apps&data back which I have backed up from Titanium backup app an error occured. And it was saying the phone needs to be restarted. I did, but now the phone doesn't boot. After xperia logo it starts bootingg just for a few seconds and then freees and turns off. I can't get into recovery mode. Tried to have it on fastboot on Windows 8, but it says unknown device.
What procedure I should follow now ?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

if i were u, i will re-lock the bootloader and save your phone with update service
update service will probably put your phone into .200 rom
then flash it to .211 rom yourself and root it with the doomlord kit

Did u have correct drivers installed on Windows 8?
hi. I'm having trouble with my phone
some days ago, my phone is having trouble because of the 'broken' booting
after it happens,I go to the recovery mode by using (if I'm not mistaken) volume up+home+power
then,I chose the factory reset & it works!
after that, I tried to update my firmware by using Kies & it's still happens.
but because there's some software problems in my laptop, I have to cancel it asap
but then, when I try to update it in my apartment, it says that I can't update my phone because the software is not original
I seen the root sign in my phone, but is it true that because of my phone has been rooted,it can't be updated?
FYI,I bought it in used condition & rooted
how can I make my phone normal again & how to be able to update it using the original update in this condition?
thank you very much

If you have a custom recovery installed then you could just download and flash a 4.3 rom in the development section.
but you could just unroot your phone and you could update it to 4.3 through the ota, it's up to you. If you want to unroot look in the android development section and there should be a guide in the stickied threads.
So, u mean that it will be solved after I unroot my phone?
Because I want to use the original one, actually...
Thank you

Okay, so I rooted my phone back in December and had no problems at all with firmware 4.3. I had this app called "Clean Master" I think, so it analyzed my device to clean up "unnecessary" files and such. I go ahead a clean whatever it had "cleaned" and then I noticed that when I went into settings that it started freezing for about a minute or so and had to force close the settings. It also started to restart randomly at times and it got to the point where I just got fed up and looked to the internet. I decided to use Odin to Unroot my phone because at the time that's what I thought was causing the problem. This is where I think (I know) I screwed up. Instead of flashing the stock firmware for the T-Mobile Galaxy s4 I flashed this "GT-I9500-XSE-I9500XXUAME1-ROOTED_MAY4". I think I used this file for rooting but I downloaded so many files to get the rooting to work that I don't remember. This file is neither an .md5 file nor a .tar file. I don't know what I was thinking and I regret the decision. I started the transfer of whatever file that was to my phone using the Custom ROM download screen, and it only took about 4 seconds and said it passed. It reboots but ever since has been stuck on the Samsung Galaxy s4 screen. Recently it now says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again. I've tried connecting the device via Kies but IT DOES NOT CONNECT. I'm beginning to think that I've just completely destroyed the phone and will be needing to by another. Any help would be much appreciated. I've tried everything I know. I've wiped the cache, wiped the data and factory reset the phone, but it won't reboot correctly. I'm stuck people. What can I do?

#1: Find the Odin flash rom/firmware for your phone and load Odin with it.
#2: Put the phone into download mode.
#3: plug usb cable into phone and computer.
#4: after you see [COM:xx] light up click START in Odin.
#5: when it gets done flashing let it reboot, have patience.
Forget all about these cleaning utilities, you can do all the cleaning
you want once the phone works properly and once it's rooted.
Only use CF-Autoroot to root the phone for best and trouble free results.
Here is the direct download link for CF-AutoRoot:
http://download.chainfire.eu/328/CF-Root1/CF-Auto-Root-jfltetmo-jfltetmo-sghm919.zip?retrieve_file=1
Good luck!
Misterjunky gives good instruction, if you can get into download mode your phone can be resurrected. In my early days of flashing, I thought I had created an expensive paperweight but the guys on here saved me. One thing, you may have to do a factory reset in stock recovery to get your phone to boot. Happened to me a couple of times.
Good luck.
Flash until you brick!
Ok, so I'm pretty sure I have the right Odin flash firmware, but it all goes really fast and after "aboot.mdn" it stops and it says FAIL. Ok so I tried the md5 file that came with the download and it went through fine, but It's still stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S4 screen. Do I need to restart the system now and try the firmware file?

Flash this TWRP custom recovery in ODIN then go into recovery mode and
do a full wipe, data, system, dalvik cache, cache and do a Factory Reset.
Here is the direct download link for the Odin flash TWRP recovery:
http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/jfltetmo/openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.1-jfltetmo.tar
Once that's done go into download mode and flash the
stock official M919 4.2.2 firmware (tar/md5) file.
Good luck!
SO I went into recovery mode, but it stays on the "teamwin" screen.
Pull the battery out of the phone, then put it back in and try to boot into recovery again. Sometimes, the recovery will hang like you described. You might have to repeat this process again and again until you get into the main menu of the recovery.
Okay, so I'm sure I'm doing everything right. I flashed the twrp recovery it restarts my phone. I held the power key, home key, and up key on the phone and released the power button when it shows the text on the top left showing that it is going to start recovery. It goes to a "teamwin" screen but freezes there. Truthfully, do you think I will be able to recover my phone, or will I need to send it in to samsung and pay 70 dollars plus the damages?

Are you sure some other people have tried this file on a t-mobile variant? because GT-I9500 is indeed for a galaxy s4, but it's for the octa chipset, which is completely different from the t-mobile variant of the s4 since the t-mobile version is similar to GT-I9505, which is a quad core instead of a octa core
Just to give you guys a heads-up, I fixed my phone, but not by the ways you guys suggested. Not that I'm ungrateful, I am very happy you all took the time to help me out and I appreciate the suggestions. Thank you so much.
Oh and I fixed it by going into kies, clicking on "tools", "firmware upgrade and initialisation", and proceeded to follow the steps and type in my Model name and Serial Number.Fortunately they had the ability for my phone to return it COMPLETELY stock.
Thank you!

Hi guys,
I have the t-mobile s6 edge
After messing around with my device last night and this morning, I decided to go back to stock for a bit.
I have ODIN 3.10.6. I went into download mode on my phone. extracted the stock firmware from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/general/sm-g925f-s6-firmware-thread-t3078841
loaded the "G925TUVU1AOCG_G925TTMB1AOCG_G925TUVU1AOCG_HOME.tar.md5" file into the ap box for odin
connected my phone to computer, odin recognized it. hit start. ran successfully. rebooted, android guy came up briefly and said installing system update, then it changed to "Erasing..." then it rebooted again
now it's just bootloops forever after the tmobile screen. I can boot to recovery and it says installing system update each time I boot to recovery, but selecting reboot system there shows a no command error. force the phone to power off... power on again to bootloops.
tried to go into download mode again and reflash everything through odin, same issue!
I started last night by rooting using chainfire, then installing TWRPv2, then I flashed the 5.1.1 ROM available from @eousphoros (sorry for the tag, just thought you might want to be apprised of the issues in getting back to stock after using the 5.1.1 ROM).
with 5.1.1 loaded, smart switch didn't recognize the phone for a reset so I decided to go with the ODIN method and now i'm in bootloop city
any help would be greatly appreciated

You probably need to do a factory reset
In the future you should make a full backup before installing a rom

I had the same excat same thing happen when flashing this via Odin. I didnt need to Odin stock twice though . I just booted stock recovery and did a factory reset. After that I went ahead an powered down and rebooted . All good now
How long did you have to wait in the stock recovery to get past the "installing system update" screen? Mine just sits there and I'm unable to view other options in recovery.
EDIT for noobs (like me): wait 30 seconds on the "installing system update" screen.
I'm still stuck in boot loop

Pp.
I initially used odin to flash OI1 update, after a rom I was using caused problems and I got bootloop. It changed bootloader value to b:3 and I'm unable to downgrade now so I used smart switch which didn't recognize device so used emergency recovery and still bootloop. I have factory reset and wipe cache multiple times along with adb side load and individual flashes of bootloader, modem, kernel, flashed custom kernel and twrp to access fix permissions and to mount partitions with advanced wipe etc and still wont boot past logo. Also during one fix attempt phone said can't mount system.. Idk I'm not understanding where the problem is .everything says successful but I'm still in bootloop. Please help. I've spent hours everyday for the past week searching & trying different things that seem might help so open to any suggestions.
Problem with Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini GT-I9195
Hi everyone
I'm new to the whole ROM flashing and using Odin. I had a bootloop problem and recovery mode showed all the options but has a green android man laying down with red icon above him and No Command below the android man. Tried the factory wipe and cache wipe but it gives some red writing with the word failed in the coding and the word error under the android man. Tried to flash a stock ROM from sammobile using Odin. Odin gives a pass but the same problems persist. Can someone please help?
any solution, i have this problem to? only bootloop, nothing else. Updatet bootloader with 4up

Hi - I cannot locate the proper .tar.md5 files for my model
I have a United States Sprint Galaxy S6 - Gold 64Gig - SM-920P. About 2.5 weeks ago, the phone went from working fine to going in a reboot loop. I think it may have happened shortly after a Samsung Update. Not sure.
I took it to a local repair place who told me it was a bad battery even after informing him of the update, waited 3 days to get the battery and as I suspected the battery did not change the condition.
One kid there who does deeper level work said he could reflash the phone with Odin and possibly get it to work and save the data. My primary objective was to save the data as I was a bit foolish and had not kept it backed up.
His flash did not work and the phone will not get past the first couple of start-up screens as it was doing before.
I then Factory Reset the phone which would wipe the data and that did not work.
I am trying to reflash my phone myself back to Standard Stock Software.
I have the phone in Download Mode and Connected to Odin.
I cannot find the phone's tar files.
I have watch several videos who have gone to XDA.COM or Sammobile. The one video was a Verizon Phone where the guy got the phone from XDA. I could not find any stock files for my phone on XDA. I also went to Sammobile and they have several with no country listed so that is no help.
As the phone when to an unbootable mode, I do not know it's original Firmware Level or what the repair shop guy attempted.
I would appreciate any assistance on where to find the file. Thanks.
Trying it

Complete the re flashing of the phone successfully. The Phone updated but upon reboot, at the Welcome Screen, get the message, "Unfortunately Context Service has stopped" - Hit OK "Unfortunately Google Services has stopped" - then it will reboot after awhile, back to the Welcome Screen with those error messages again, reboot again, etc.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Thanks. Did that after the first flash failed by the repair shop. Did it again, after my flash today. I think it may be hardware failure now, The start up sound kept getting poppy and crackling. This time after a couple of the reboots and those error messages at the welcome screen when I tried to get back to the maintenance mode, it didn't turn on and it doesn't seem to turn on anymore.
