I was on official GB and Installed custom Jelly Bean cm10 and cm9, but the battery is draining quickly, why?
What can I do to solve the issue?

If it was freshly installed, yes.
You have to calibrate your battery every after flashing a new Rom.
Just charge your phone to 3 full charging cycles.
tnx.

Hi, I have installed Jelly Sandwich 7.x without wipe data and with ArcKnight_4.1 but after few hours I noticed that my battery drop down 2x faster then previous version (6.4)
what do you suggest me to do? Wipe everything and try with 8.x? Change Kernel? or what.

Wipe everything, install latest Jelly Sandwich and flash Lupus kernel v8 for good battery that will take you through the day easily.

I'm on JellySandwich 8.2 (latest version). Yesterday I changed kernel as well to lupusV8. I'm using no frills CPU with these settings (see attached screen shot). This was adviced by one of the JS users.
So far, so good. I'm still at 100% !

I flashed it 12 hours ago Everything seems fine, previous nightly i used was 7-20121209, that was great too..
Now not sure but i think that battery life is very improved I did not OCed or changed governor, everything i "stock" CM7 (kinda strange i did not OCed ) but its fast, very fast, even without OC.
If you disable boot animation, i got it booted in like 50 seconds!!!
I had 44% of battery, after 12 hours came down to 6%, i did few reboots, instaled all apps i use (like 20-25 apps) did full routine customization,
sleept a bit and chated via viber and facebook, still for me too good battery life Will test it more of course. For me its kinda bugless.
(Btw, anyone experienced sound problems, like once in a day no sound, maybe after using camera or something on CM7
latest stable build cm-7.2.0? Reboot and it works. Also happen to me on all CM7 stable based roms. On nightlys its fine)

I use CM10.1 (JB 4.2.2) by Olddroid and with some tweaks that I made (froze some system apps and disabled autostart entries) I got 185MB of free RAM when I boot into Android. And I can tell you that it works flawlessly. On my phone it's faster than stock Android ROM. And don't bother benchmark scores. They don't always indicate that your system is slow.
For my is AOKP jb-mr1 (jb+) by erikcas http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173572
Very stable, is my every day rom
Which bugs or problems do they have guys?

You can face some camera, radio, headphone, usb or some stability issues with other ROMs but the one that I use doesn't have any of 'em. With normal use, my standard battery lasts after 2 days.

I froze all the apps that I don't use. When I boot my phone, it uses only about 90-95 MB of RAM and by the way I'm using a Jelly Bean (4.2.2) ROM. I also prevented apps from running in the background so they don't drain my battery's juice. I underclocked the CPU to 748 MHz and selected smartassv2 & SIO.
I'm using stock battery.
I used Autostarts and System Tuner apps to make all that tweaks. Be careful. Don't disable Fused Location, System UI and Android System.
i don't know which rom to flash, my battery is reallycrappy and lasts around 12 hours, i've flashed the .211 pre rooted update. I'm on a locked bootlader, any suggestions on roms with good battery life will be appreciated

On a locked bootloader?
Sent from my TVR powered Xperia S via transwarp conduit.
U need custom kernel for custom ROMs. Stock kernel only supports stock ROM.
I use Trinity's ROM, it has a nice battery life (though I use custom kernel, i don't know if it will have much difference without it)
You can use Greenify to hibernate apps, it helps a lot.
Why not unlock bootloader?
U can relock it if you want.

Check Trinity's ROM. So far so good for me..
MIUI v5 is good but not smooth as Stock based JB.
Snapdragon BatteryGuru
Try Snapdragon BatteryGuru (download google play store). It runs an all devices with snapdragon hardware. It learns automatically and battery life could be much better.
FreeXperiaProject FXP228 - my favorit rom
because of the possibility to manually control the brightness of the display i was able to double battery life.

I agree, I've been ROM hopping and FreeXperia 228 has been the best so far in battery consumption. Also MIUI in Battery > Power Saving mode is pretty good. I've noticed a significant battery life improvement by using a firewall iptables via a firewall app like AFWall+ and just limiting apps that you know for sure that shouldn't need access to data.

Any Debloated Stock rom (just keep extended batery mode on)
or any Debloated non Stock ROM (usualy slimmer than stock but need unlocked bootloader)
id suggest my own team XCP rom but you might not like it so i Suggest you look around and try some out
Install custom kernel and add greenify.
Hi Guys,
Please suggest a custom stable ROM for best battery life. I have Samsung Wonder which i think is not very old and has very good battery. I recently rooted it and installed CyanogenMod 10.1, this ROM is great and on full charge it gives around 12-13 hours of battery life with Wifi On.
I normally turn On wifi and email exchange application, so please let me know if we have more option to increase battery life.
Thanks all
I suggest you One of a Kind.

This device doesn´t support auto brightness. Neither in the stock ROM, nor in custom ROMs. There is simply no light sensor to support autobrightness. This device only offers a proximity sensor which also works in CM9 and this is telling me you have no clue what you are talking about.

So just because you faced some flickering while browsing you are claiming this ROM is not stable?
I assure you it´s way more stable than a stock ROM can be and this flickering means nothing. Probably the most unstable part is located in front of the LCD and pressed some buttons while browsing.
This is a screenshoot of my CM9 and it can last up to 7 days with one charge:
i am sorry honeyx that I posted my short experience of using this ROM
