Hi everyone I installed a pre-rooted 4.1.2 on my samsung galaxy s3 i747m, A few weeks ago I lost my root when I turned off the phone. When I started it back up my SuperSU was gone and when I run root checker it tells me that I do not have root. So I used a CFroot and rooted again, which work to root my phone, But sporadically I lose root and Supersu is removed. Is there anyway to fix this or a way to figure out what is causing my problem?
hello,
I have a Galaxy S3 i747m Version 4.1.2, and I want the past to version 4.3.
when I try to do the parameter from the phone I get a message that displays "your device has been changed. upgrades, software updates are no longer available"
how I can do it from the computer? and what do I need to download as an application?
excuse me for my English is google who translated
I recommend that you not update to 4.3 if you ever intend to root the phone or install a custom rom and recovery.
my phone was Roote but I remove the root to move to version 4.3
Do you have warranty on your phone? If you do and you root a stock 4.3 room ROM, it will trip the Knox counter and good your warranty.
So I got my tab pro 8.4 this morning and managed to root it with towelroot without tripping Knox or any other issues. Is it safe to update after rooting or will it lose root and make it impossible to root without triggering the efuse?
My current version is 4.4.2 and I'm guessing the update is for 4.4.4. I have attached a screenshot of build number etc.
I am planning on buying this phone in the next few days, but had some questions on rooting. I want to be able to root and keep stock ROM, while being able to update my phone with all the current updates from T-Mobile (4.4.4 is the latest I believe for this phone) without losing root. What is the easiest possible way to do that?
Google Chainfire's Autoroot for gs4 kit Kat, his website has all the info you need to root.
I run stock /rooted and debloated minus all the Samsung and Tmobile junk apps.
Pp.
So my Tab S 8.4 (SM-T700) recently just updated to Android Lollipop and it was rooted. After the update, my root access was gone.
I wanted to know if I can use the same kernel i used for rooting that i used previously that was for the tab S 4.2.2 version.
if i can't, how long till i can get root access.
THANK YOU!
Yes.
