Wi-Fi Play store Connection Timed Out - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

My S3, when I use the play store app in wifi always ends up with connection timed out. This only happens in Wifi and what is weird is that my nexus 7, which I have only rooted it, still on stock firmware can not use play store on wifi as well. No android devices can use play store on wifi but this only happens in my home network. Any where else, the wifi works. Can someone please help me? I have a ASUS RT-N66U router.

I have the same problem since switching to an RT-N66U. I cannot access the play store on any of my android devices (Nexus 4, S3 Mini, TF101 and Tab2 7"). Have you had any luck resolving this at all?
I have a workaround that confuses me even more than the lack of connectivity. If I set up the VPN on the router and connect to that (from the router's wifi) I seem to be able to connect to the play store without issue.

[Q] Streaming via Mobile Network?

I have an rooted ATT LG-E980. I can stream from my vulkano when connected via the local wifi or when connected to a remote wifi but when trying to stream without wifi but using 4G, then android app starts up says connecting, shows streaming speed then displays this error message: "Unable to play stream. Please try again."
I know it is not a ports / forwarding issue, as it works from remote networks. It is an issue with some settings in the phone or some way to get around this? Any ideas?
THanks
EDIT: Installed exact same app on Galaxy S3 on ATT network and it streams ok via the Mobile Network, so may be some problem with the LG's video hardware or software. Is anybody else able to stream (using vulkano or slingbox) with the LG Optimus Pro ?
Thanks
Really, no one else here has a slingbox or live broadcast streamer ?
This screen (but not so much the sound) was made for this.

Netflix App crashing on home WiFi but works on others

Hello, I don't know if anyone has this issue. but netflix app on both my S3 and Note 8 crash when on my home WiFi but work fine on 3G. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I tried deleting cache for Netflix which allows me to login to the netflix app but then crashes a minute later.
It seems like it has something to do w/my Wireless Router setup at home. I even got a new Wireless Router w/no success. Anyone have any ideas?
Again the app works fine on 3G and other WiFi networks.
Thanks in advance.
I'm having the same issue on my Nexus 6P. Fine over cellular data but crashes as soon as connected to my home WiFi network.

How to fix VPN in CM11 M8

My oppo N1 running CM11 M8, one of my major problem is the useless of VPN. I used many third apps to connect to VPN, and always failed to connect. Even, if suddenly connected, I couldn't access Google play as the connection become very slow. I need VPN mainly to connect to Google play store, as it restricted in my region.
How to fix
I use hotspot to connect to VPN in CM11, although it connected and the hot spot go green, nothing happened and the Google play become blank.
Then I tried to close the full protection within the hotspot shield app, its icon become blue ( see photo) and lastly I can access Google play. Not sure what happened but I googled my problem earlier and found that the VPN issue is common since android 4.4.2..

Problem with play store during Bluetooth tethering

When my tablet is on a tethered network provided by my phone, I keep getting no connection from play store. YouTube and other Google apps are able to load fine. I'm out of ideas, I've tried the xposed module fake WiFi connection to trick it into thinking I'm on wifi but no luck as well

Network issue with a couple of apps

I'm having an issue with Nest Camera app TuneIn Pro and Google Play store.
Nest Camera App isn't connecting to the Nest service, TuneIn cannot connect to streams and the Play store isn't downloading/updating apps.
Other apps I use are working fine.
I believe this issue may be related to the live wallpaper app I downloaded from the Play store. I guess it messed up network settings.
I reset my network settings and am having the same issue.
This only happens on wifi, they work fine on mobile data.
Before I reset network settings I couldn't even connect to my VPN. After resetting the network settings I can now connect to VPN while on wifi. When I do that all of the apps works fine.
How do I reset/fix this wifi network issue?
Did you already tried connecting to different WiFi without using VPN ? your WiFi / VPN may be the cause of the network problem.

I didn't but just did and the other band works fine. I was connected to the 2.4 band due to the wifi issue with 5ghz on Android 10. I've switched to 5ghz and it works fine now.
I wonder why that is...
Correction, the play store allowed updates but the other apps still didn't work.
