Netflix App crashing on home WiFi but works on others - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Hello, I don't know if anyone has this issue. but netflix app on both my S3 and Note 8 crash when on my home WiFi but work fine on 3G. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I tried deleting cache for Netflix which allows me to login to the netflix app but then crashes a minute later.
It seems like it has something to do w/my Wireless Router setup at home. I even got a new Wireless Router w/no success. Anyone have any ideas?
Again the app works fine on 3G and other WiFi networks.
Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same issue on my Nexus 6P. Fine over cellular data but crashes as soon as connected to my home WiFi network.

[Q] Certain apps not working on home wireless network

I have a strange problem. I've found the following apps to not work correctly when I connect my Sprint HTC Evo 4G (CM 7.0.3.1) to my home wireless network (Apple Airport Extreme Base Station-Dualband):
Facebook (news feed won't update)
Amazon MP3 (Can't stream music from cloud player)
Netflix (won't let me log in)
Speedtest (downloads fine but shows 0.00Mbps for uploads)
However, all features works great on 3G or on the wifi at work (a university network running WPA2 Enterprise with LEAP authentication). I've also tested it at another friend's home network (non-apple router) which works perfectly. This leads me to suspect there's something wrong with my home wifi setup. I have updated the Airport Extreme to the latest firmware and reset it several times yet the problem persists. Any ideas?
Experiencing the same

Sadly im having the same problem except with snapchat. everything else works fine on wifi except for snapchat but it works when i turn off my wifi and use my data.

*Solved... can't reconnect to home network after tethering!

I have a major problem. I used Action Gadgets to use the wifi tethering ability to tether my tablet to my phone. After disconnecting my tablet from the phone I am no longer able to connect to my home network.
I restored a backup from TWRP thinking this would fix the issue and still no change. So, I was able to tether to the phone, but nothing else anymore. My home router is fine. Everything else connects.
Edit* Solved by rebooting router. Weird.

Youtube, play store, and few other apps don't work on data connection

Hello,
I'm facing this issue that YouTube play store and other few apps like paytm do not work on mobile data(YouTube works fine in chrome), but they work fine when I'm connected to WiFi (any WiFi works, even hotspot created from other phone using same mobile operator)
When I open YouTube it gets stuck on loading and after sometime asks to check my network. If I want to use YouTube in app I have to connect to any WiFi network and launch YouTube app which loads within 2,3 seconds. After I do that even if I disconnect WiFi and start using mobile data for the app it works perfectly.
I tried few things when I was searching solution for this but couldn't find solution.
I also tried different rom and other network it doesn't load.
Currently I'm on RRemix 8.1.
Thanks in advance

Give static settings a try in wifi, and set dns address as primary 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4

Network issue with a couple of apps

I'm having an issue with Nest Camera app TuneIn Pro and Google Play store.
Nest Camera App isn't connecting to the Nest service, TuneIn cannot connect to streams and the Play store isn't downloading/updating apps.
Other apps I use are working fine.
I believe this issue may be related to the live wallpaper app I downloaded from the Play store. I guess it messed up network settings.
I reset my network settings and am having the same issue.
This only happens on wifi, they work fine on mobile data.
Before I reset network settings I couldn't even connect to my VPN. After resetting the network settings I can now connect to VPN while on wifi. When I do that all of the apps works fine.
How do I reset/fix this wifi network issue?
Did you already tried connecting to different WiFi without using VPN ? your WiFi / VPN may be the cause of the network problem.

I didn't but just did and the other band works fine. I was connected to the 2.4 band due to the wifi issue with 5ghz on Android 10. I've switched to 5ghz and it works fine now.
I wonder why that is...
Correction, the play store allowed updates but the other apps still didn't work.
