I have a problem with my LG G E975 with Android 4.1.2.
I have set the Backlight Time to 30 seconds and the brightness in auto mode.
When i reboot the phone or the battery ends this settings always changes to 2 minutes of backlight and brightness to 100% with auto mode off.
Is this a bug or my phone have some kind of problem?
I have already done a factory reset.

I was using the phone without sim card because was waiting for a 4g one. After insert the sim the phone started to save the settings

Hi guys, I was a little concerned because just recently my GS2 T989's screen wont timeout automatically for some reason, it wasn't doing this before but now it wont lock the screen after 15sec or 30sec or even 1min. Can anyone please give a solution to this problem. Thanks in advance guys, I would really appreciate it.

Have you tried factory reset. Or just download the stock Rom and use odin to reinstall.

Actually what I ended up doing was, powering down the phone and then powering it on. That seemed to fix it, but I'm concerned if it was a temporary fix.

It has to be temporary fix.. It shouldn't have done that in the first place.. Then again if it worked that's good.

you probably have some apps that is keeping the phone awake
or enabled the setting to keep phone awake when on USB
or you need to change the screen time out setting to something like 15sec
Hello,
Just got my OPG yesterday and as I was configuring the display settings, I noticed that it keeps on reverting to default every time I reboot/restart the unit :crying:... like brightness automatically turn up to 100%... screen time reset back to 2min of inactivity while i changed it to 15 sec I don't know why it does that...its very annoying. Any help is appreciated.

I also have the same issue. My E988 would reset its brightness setting if I restart it.
But this is happen after I did a factory reset via power+volume down. Before that, I didn't have this issue.
Any help appreciated
edit: fixed. It only reset when there is no simcard at the phone. The brightness setting back to normal if the phone has simcard inserted.
Hi...Yesterday i was using my mobile and the battery got low about 8% or 7% percent so i plugged in the charger (it was not my HTC charger) and i slept and when i woke up after 4 hrs my battery was charged it was showing the green light but when i tried to unlock my phone the screen was black and everything else was working the Volume keys,notification led & and its getting connected to the pc...And i tried everything even resetting the phone by pressing the volume and power key but the button lights just blinked and i guess the phone just restarted but still no luck...soo it seems like a hardware issue but could it be my gpu?? and if it is my gpu do i need to get a new motherboard??? or is there any other solution to fix the BSOD?

I've had this issue also. Idk the cause. But try resetting using just power button. When the blinking starts keep holding it until it vibrates or you see the screen come back on. I don't think you held it long enough.

Nope still nothing....i think its a hardware fault..time to take it to the shop... Anyways thanx for the help guys
I just got my phone for the service centre. The problem is if I leave my phone inactive for several seconds my screen freezes for 7-8 secs. I'm running stock os no root. I have factory reset my phone 4 times. This problem starts 3 to 4 mins after rebooting my phone. Pls help

Facing same problem once i changed display from lenovo service centre. Display stops working randomly
Do this steps it may fix the problem
Turn off knock to light feature in settings-features
Switch off the phone
Charge it to full 100% without disturb then start using it it works in my case

I just bought a Note 10 plus (n9750/BRI version).
Can't have network (I tried several SIM card). The phone remains in airplane mode. this is the first time I have such behavior
I also flash the phone with a stock ROM but it has not changed

Now that it is mentioned here, when I turn the airplane mode on in quick tiles, I am not able to turn it off the same way, I need to go to settings, connection, to do it, as I rarely need that mode, it doesn't bother me, but it is odd nevertheless
I tried several methods without result. The phone detects the sim card but does not want to leave the airplane mode. it's really strange...

toggled airplane mode from quick tiles and the switch is not a solid color but faded and i can make calls so is not real airlpane mode
i think is a bug on last 2 security updates

Where do you bought the phone maybe the phone was opened and repaired before. If so certanly if its charging port board changed from different wariant (region) of Note 10 + and that is 100 % cause of the problem. The image here is for the correct model of charging board.
