Weird data usage.... - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

OK I was on Rootbox and out of nowhere I was showing 299gb usage in data...up from 5 yesterday... So I wiped it out and did a clean install of slim. After setup it showed me at 100gb again... I cleared the save location for the usage to start clear.... But if I use play store or browser its way off... And the math is not right either... I'll get a screen shot up.

Perhaps time to clean your glasses?
That's not 299GB it's 2.99GB, abut 2.8GB used between May 24 and June 25.
What's the problem?

Dude it's 2.99 GB. What if it was 299 GB? I spend 50 GB every week.

Wow guys...read my post... Also how does the 2gb+2gb add to 2gb....lol
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app

OK here is more info... The play store alone was at 3.4gb and I just downloaded angry birds.. Now it's showing over 5gb.. This is within 20sec...lte is fast but not that fast lol we got a glitch

Funny thing is... CM also has this issue. My G+ has used over 6.99GB of data.

If you look at the cm change log this issue should have been fixed with rc4 (should have)

CM7 Device Name in the market

I keep getting messages that my device isn't compatible with most software in the market. I'm on nightly 14. It's not a great situation because I can't update many of my apps, and some require updates to function. Any way I can change it so its recognized correctly?
I was having the same problem but it went away for me as of a few minutes ago. I'm running nightly 16 with kernel sanders v3 and have the odexed file mod

Change references in build.prop from epicmtd to epic. Iirc though, this has been fixed in later builds.
If you've changed your dpi settings, revert the changes. This ****s with the market also.

Jt, are you still working with the epic cm team? It looks like they need help with the touchscreen on cm9 and the epic and charge drivers are pretty different. Thanks for all the help and great stuff you've brought for this community, especially without having an epic.

Looks like it's been released. Not sure if there's something wrong with the download though. I've tried it a couple times and get the "Error parsing package" error.

Why is it not matching ICS? The icon and app pages are halo light and overview in halo dark. It matches perfectly (if you saw the android developer site.)

"Market" is not a name
Just got it as well.
I like how they replaced everything with 'Play'.
Instead of 'Read The Hunger Games' it's 'Play The Hunger Games'
Hopefully they'll update something worthwhile soon so I can 'Play with Google Wallet' instead of having it broken.
im ok with the 'play' name its the icon/logo i dont like, market was prettier

Bit off topic, but does anyone of the apk for Play Music? I hear that it's fairly different to the stock player, well and I can't get it here in Germany.
Thanks!
EDIT: NVM, market enabler does the trick
To receive it, just clean market cache (only cache is enough), reboot, open market (wait a bit,in background it should download the update), exit, reopen and bam you will receive the play store...its confirmed to work

Anyone else seeing "error processing purchase"from Google Play?

I started getting this error today on every market download attempt (paid or free)... Running sleeper ROM, but I've been there for a while without seeing this... If I clear app data from Play, will it not know what apps I have? May give that a try...

1. Uninstall all traces of DropBox
2. Flash the zip
3. Reboot your phone and log in without updating the app
4. Wait for the email titled "Get free DropBox space!".
5. Click it and then follow the steps. (If you don't get the email make sure you are looking in the email associated with your DB account)
6. Then wait for the confirmation email notifying you about the extra space added to your account.
That's basically what I did. If it's still not working they either fixed it or you're doing something wrong.
