Yeah just try it from your mobile browser maybe it will work. One of the steps is to complete the tutorial. I started it, clicked through it really quick. When I went back to the home page it showed I had 50 gb. I didn't have to do any more steps Lol. . Easy. Almost too easy..

Did you complete 5 of the steps? Takes a few minutes after but then you should get an email saying your extra space has been activated.
Should I login through the app or through add account? Either way I just get the regular prompts nothing new... can I not use my current account?

Yeah. Log in your current account on your phone after installing the. Zip. Then go online to dropbox and log in. Then follow the prompts. You'll notice nothing really different on the phone until it shows you the extra space after it syncs online.

1. Uninstall all traces of DropBox
2. Flash the zip
3. Reboot your phone and log in without updating the app
4. Wait for the email titled "Get free DropBox space!".
5. Click it and then follow the steps. (If you don't get the email make sure you are looking in the email associated with your DB account)
6. Then wait for the confirmation email notifying you about the extra space added to your account.
That's basically what I did. If it's still not working they either fixed it or you're doing something wrong.

I tested it on ics and it works
Working pretty well on Aokp 7-15, but a it force closes when I try make a note to my self with it, not really a problem for me I don't really use that feature.

Working perfectly for me on AOKP 7-15, darkside venom 05 kernel. Even tried setting reminders and they worked, except not for another day. Replied: "sorry alarms and reminders only support times of day, but not dates." Not a big deal. Love everything else about it. Much appreciated!

Just add the normal quick search bar widget and hit the microphone. It might ask you to select which program you would like to use, select Google (not voice search)
So, I hope I'm doing something wrong. The Google search function seems to work. Like facts and stuff. I have the cards. However when I ask it to do something like Set a reminder, it will say "setting reminder" but then nothing ever happens. No alarms reminders etc. Any thoughts? Im on Darkside Evolution v8. TW Rom.

i was just wondering if anyone knows why google play store doesnt restore any of my apps after i do a clean wipe and and flash a new rom. it used to start re-downloading them immediately on the first boot up after i signed in on my G2X when using a CM based ROM. and does any know of a free and reliable way to batch restore apps???

Did you leave the box checked that said sync with Google (OE something like that on the first boot)
And as far as tb goes give app to zip a try. Its a great app, and there is a free version that will do all you need. And the pro version is less than three dollars

Saving my apps to an sd card works for me. I also tend to modify roms via the android kitchen and while at it, place a few apps I need accessible prior to flashing (root explorer, etc).
Well, I've noticed that they don't restore all the time unless you use the same ROM. But even a stock rim misses the occasional app. Titanium Backup works great for me.

Just a kick because if your apps don't start to auto restore and you want them to, simply go to Settings, Remove your Google account, and just add it back. Worked for me.
Media Hub it's on there now for us free. 2.65 GB download for HD you can also Down Load SD
I've been trying to get it since it came out all I keep getting is a sign in fail. Rooted on stock never deleted any system apps or anything like that it just doesn't want to download

Same here first time I tried to play it my phone just shuts down. Now with samsung media player it just says cannot play video. With mxplayer pro I get sound but no video.

Triangle away doesn't seem to stick. I reset successfully and reboot and when I check it again it says that I'm at 1 count
i was able to move the movie to my external SDcard still plays and yes i downloaded from the Media hub,,,
i am all stock

Here is the new S-Voice APK from the GS4, credit due to sammobile

Just install it like a normal APK, replace the existing S-Voice if prompted. May want to do a Nandroid prior to trying this. I have only tried this on JB, probably WILL NOT work on ICS!

It just installs like a normal APK. I;m not sure of all the new features, I know they optimized the UI, not sure what all they changed.

As far as I can see from playing 5 minutes with it, only the driving mode is different.
Makes sense since they mentionned on the launch of the S4 that the app was now called S Voice Drive (or something like that).
I'll rehost it for you on my own server - so we don't have to keep dancing with file sharing hosts..

I pulled these from the system dump. I have a feeling that the AccuWeather app doesn't work on out phones. There was only the weather.apk and the weather deamon.apk.
Since it was a odexed ROM did that mean they had to have their odex file included and only worked on a odexed ROM ?

I recently received a msg from my service provider that my data usage is over by 400+ MBs. I was really surprised as I only use mobile data to check emails/whatsapp and my free usage limit (512 MB) never get crossed.
So I looked into the data usage & found out that google services are using a lot of data from last few days. It has used 750+ MBs in last 4 days now I have no other option than to disable my mobile data.

It disables auto update. Your Rom is downloading 4.3 again and again trying to update. Known bug. It'll keep doing it until you do this.

if you on 4.2 it's because a 4.3 OTA Bug on some custom ROM..that's google failure on this case
the solution only is upgrade to 4.3..

100MB killed in 1 day, then 20MB the next day. Was using CM10.1.2. Hope this work.
Hi all...I am having the same problem. I have downloaded the app,however when I try to paste it in the required location....it says permission denied.
Maybe it is a noob question,however...can you please let me know how can I paste it in the required location without "permision denied" ? I am rooted.

Update: managed to complete the steps by using root explorer app and a tutorial found on the web.
Update 2: it seems to really work....after 8 hours since last update and the data used by Download manager reached the fabulous value of 200 kb ) fotakill does the job"!!
