Correct me if im wrong... but dont u need something else other than the apk?? Cuz last time i tried pull something from a hero rom, i installed the apk but got a fc every time i tried to use it...
i love this widget. cant a dev just start from scratch? it doesnt have to be the same as htc. but similar to it. no need to port it over.

LOL, no kidding... This is one of the silliest not-yet-locked threads that I have stumbled upon. Almost every question had me giving my monitor a puzzled look and mumbling "really???" and I had no response that was even moderately appropriate. (Especially since it seems by the quality of recent questions posted that many people couldn't even see an R-rated movie...)
How many people would be interested in having this theme ported to latest versions of CM? Porting it shouldn't really be hard at all however I was thinking to keep everyone happy and people off our backs that I would maintain the layout of the theme but keep it inline with the CM roms I.E Cyanogize it a bit
i'm not a big fan of the screwpaw theme, but you know, i think any progress for the sake of android is good i think it should be updated
I would love it if you would update it to the latest Cyan build. I like the way the theme is but how would you Cyanogize it?

i don't think so as for the fact it would kinda kill what the point was of the original one. Maybe do a different look though. There could only be one ScrewPaw IMO

I have it mostly ported over as-is for my g1 now but I kinda feel like doing something different with it. I like the layout and all but some of the graphics just doesn't quite feel right on the g1
maybe ill make CyanPaw

i really love the theme how it is already.
the only think i hated was the version 3.9.7? with the stones as the background as the app drawer. it looked out of place.
the background of the app drawer before that was waaaay sexy. the dark picture with trees and the lovely scenery.
also, you should change the bootupscreen, it's already been suggested but this would be awesome haha.

What is so funny about the thread being removed is the presence of the post by a moderator saying that Pre themes would NOT be removed because they had never received official word.
I see a lot of great themes for Stericson lock screen, but they are all tied to a full theme.
I'd really like if you theme creators could release the lock screen theme seperately, for those people like me, who would like to keep the standard theme for the rest of the phone (or combine it with another theme).

pull the files fromthe lockscreen in the framework-res.apk /res/drawable/ inside there will be files named zzlockdock zzlockdock bottom.png etc. just take those files and put them in the same place as the one you want to use.

That might work as a temporary solution...
Its actually a permanent solution.... get the signing utility set up, and you can use any themed lockscreen. Seems better to do it yourself rather than relying on others to customize your phone

Going by that statement, I should make my own theme... and trust me... you don't want to see that...
And by the way, no offence, but I really do have better things to spend my time on, than messing about with this, trying to get this thing I don't know enough about, to work.
take the images at the end of framework-res.apk with zz in front of them
drop them into a 7-zip archive for the most recent update of stercisons lockscreen that you want to use
sign the file
flash the file
or do this on a phone with the stock look of stericson's lockscreen
take the framework-res.apk from gchrome, put it on the root of your sdcard, boot into recovery
Code:
mount sdcard
mount system
cp /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk
reboot
it may not work but you can try it, also it will have the 700+ .pngs from gchrome so the lockscreen isn't the only thing that will look like gchrome.

The lockscreen has all the framework graphics in it. So to change the lockscreen graphics alone you will have to add them to your current themed framework-res.apk. So you will at least have to learn how to theme the lockscreen by yourself.

You only have to replace about 20 images, there are guides all over the place. If you need help you can pm me.
Seriously though, I've owned a computer for almost 10 months now. I have no college education, and the last grade I completed was the 10th grade. No offense, but if you have the time to post on xda, then you have the time to change your lockscreen (about 5 min).

I've been running Xdandroid for 3 months. I don't remember when I updated to 2.2..I believe it was July. All of my IPhone Geekers are asking me how to Jailbreak there devices(I haven't got a clue and don't plan on it). It is great work here and I am excited, looking forward to continuos great work. Positive injection..

Good. We are all disgusted when people steal things and try to claim them as their own.
Maybe if you said where it came from, how you put it together, or highlighted HOW it's different from other builds that are already posted, we would be MUCH more receptive... But from your first post, it just looks like you stole it and tried to pass it off as something you built. That is just shameful, and will NOT be tolerated on this forum.
I didnt see any claim of ownership, unless the post was edited.
A history of the files and such of course would be helpful. And credit given to those who actually created the files is a no-brainer.
But still, I know XDA is the "big leagues", but cant we be a bit nicer? For all we know, this guy could be the next big thing. Just saying...

It really doesn't look like it would be too hard to port and just manually change the TW elements to match the rest of it. After I get some more of the requests done I will look into it.
