It really doesn't look like it would be too hard to port and just manually change the TW elements to match the rest of it. After I get some more of the requests done I will look into it.

How many people would be interested in having this theme ported to latest versions of CM? Porting it shouldn't really be hard at all however I was thinking to keep everyone happy and people off our backs that I would maintain the layout of the theme but keep it inline with the CM roms I.E Cyanogize it a bit
i'm not a big fan of the screwpaw theme, but you know, i think any progress for the sake of android is good i think it should be updated
I would love it if you would update it to the latest Cyan build. I like the way the theme is but how would you Cyanogize it?

i don't think so as for the fact it would kinda kill what the point was of the original one. Maybe do a different look though. There could only be one ScrewPaw IMO

I have it mostly ported over as-is for my g1 now but I kinda feel like doing something different with it. I like the layout and all but some of the graphics just doesn't quite feel right on the g1

i really love the theme how it is already.
the only think i hated was the version 3.9.7? with the stones as the background as the app drawer. it looked out of place.
the background of the app drawer before that was waaaay sexy. the dark picture with trees and the lovely scenery.
also, you should change the bootupscreen, it's already been suggested but this would be awesome haha.

What is so funny about the thread being removed is the presence of the post by a moderator saying that Pre themes would NOT be removed because they had never received official word.
Hello all I'm sorry to inform u that I will no longer be developing for the evo. I will be upgrading to the HTC evo shift and yes as soon as its rooted miui will be booted on it and ill b right back here providing updates for the shift.
I will have an overlay setup on github before Friday for anyone that wants to pick up where I left off for the evo.
I will also be talking to mark about a proper replacement for mod/porter so if ya wanna take over fire off a comment n this thread and we may consider you

I saw this over in the MIUI forum and seeing as I have been back and forth with MIUI and Myns ROMS I decided that I would post this here for all developers to see in an attempt to have someone take over the porting and maintenance of MIUI. Original thread can be found here:

Completely agree man. The whole rom is just so unique compared to everything else available. The launcher that miui uses is hands down the best.

I own both and it does feel similar but at the same time its more of a fusion than a straight up copy. Definitely deserves to live on, better than have thousands of Sense ROMs that only differ in how ugly they are.

LOL... Well... I don't know. I like MIUI... And I like Sense... I just like things that are functional. Both of them are. I hope someone picks up MIUI development here because my most favorite thing to do is take aspects of all the different versions (Sense, MIUI, AOSP) est.. and blend them together to create the ROM I want for myself.
I have recently rooted my Evo 4g and am interested in trying out a ROM but wondered if anyone can help me decide on one that is easy for a beginner to learn on. There are so many and I want one that is time tested, nothing new please. I want something that will allow me to remove stock apps as well. Thanks for anyone's help.

I don't know if it exists for your phone, but I use MIUI and I simply adore the simplicity. See MIUI as a iphone-android hybrid. You get the user-friendliness from ios and the power of android.

Each person definitely has their preference, I tried MIUI for Inc, HATED it.

If you're interested in a ROM that won't take you too far away from Sense, I'd recommend MikFroyo, an improvement from the stock software yet very similar in looks.
ive had some bad luck with MikFroyo, but Mik 1.0 is a VERY nice ROM. sppeds up phone, and still stays very close to Sense. the perfect distance from it, IMO.

Man i wish i know how to theme.. People like u make me sick.. Hating on some one else work.. U didn't have to say all that. I"m sure whom ever ports it gonna at some of their own touches to it. I hope and pray someone does it...

I'll try to be more tolerant of other people's work.
I agree it was wrong of me, but my impulsiveness got the best of me, I guess.
I just don't believe a lot of people will like it, but I could be wrong. A lot of people liked emotionless beast and it was quite similar to this theme.
And theming is easy. Just follow zanderman's instructions

I've done a lot of research but I haven't found it yet.
The Galaxy SII has a ROM with a theme that I simply love. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1194765)
So now, would it be easy for a noob like me to port that theme to my Ace?
With that theme, i don't care which ROM i'd use.

U have to make pictures at low rezolution (MDPI), right now they are for HDPI ... and of course some XML changes ...
W will try to make it MDPI !
