[Theme - (Port?)] Wrinkled Paper

Just wondering if you guys would like me to port my Wrinkled Paper theme. If so, let me know and if I do I'll be adding to it and trying to work the theme into the Widgets too.

yes yes i love that theme i was actually waiting for it. but i didn't want to rush anyone. not to say for you to just make it because of me i don want you going through the hassle if im the only one.
but it is a really creative theme

Hey, if you have the time and motivation, please do. I use thedude's 1.1 right now, and would definately love to see this. I'll even help port it over to thedude's rom. Looks very cool!

It really doesn't look like it would be too hard to port and just manually change the TW elements to match the rest of it. After I get some more of the requests done I will look into it.

DARKEDGE THEME for SG2

So far the Darkedge Theme is the best dark/black theme...if some "good themers" could port it to our Galaxy S2...that would be just fantastic...i think we would not need other black themes ! Darkedge in my opinion is the best we could find in the android world, notice that the system is inverted, all writing is white on black background in all apps, notice also that all details have been "retouched", that why it looks like the perfect theme! this is for sure a hard work..but if "some" themers could work on it, it is for sure worth it ! by the way we would need also the authorization for the original maker, i could ask him to start !

i have been in contact with the dev about the theme which is originally made for the droid, he told me that the theme will be re-arranged for android 2.3...the problem is that i dont know if it will compatible with our sg2...and another fact, is that he said it will be this year...but when exactly ?? so , a port now would be nice...

Afaik, Darkedge is a Droid exclusive. Dont think ive ever seen a full port to another device :/

Damn that's a cool theme... Must be easy on the battery too, with the amoled screen...
I wish I had the skills to port it myself..

My bad Id seen someone try and port it to the Desire but gave up. Didnt realise there was a full port.

I ported parts of this to another device but the problem is that the theme has some heavy XML modifications which is not easy to do unless you got some mad skills.
Just port some graphics over shouldnt present much of a problem but you wont get the full 100% experience then

I'm aware that the XML are the most difficult part of it...we need help of a Dev maybe and not a themer ...porting a this theme is definitely worth it.

I can port it over but id need a dev on board to do the xml files..

Finally, if all this wasn’t enough for the Android community, Xeudoxus has been working overtime to port the DarkEdge theme to Koush’s CyanogenMod. DarkEdge for CM will also being made available publicly for the first time today. Do note, however, that CM’s version is still in an alpha stage, and not everything may look perfect, or work as smoothly as the ESE-81 version of DarkEdge.

the CM they are talking about is CM5 i think...which has been already done a year ago, it is still a project for CM7...but if this theme come out, it will be sure ported at least to CM7.

[Theme Request] Different Themes

Hello. I have noticed over the last 3 months that the theme section has been dropping off dramatically. I dare say it has a major thing to do with JKAY which is fantastic mind you however I am still sad and want someone to make me feel better.
Themers please come out with something other than ICS for the love of god. I am willing to start a bounty.
Theme Ideas:
My number 1 picks would go in order as follows
1. ELEGANT STEEL
2. BUUF
3. MATTED BLUES
4. MULTI COLOURED GINGERBREAD
5. A NEW BLACK THEME
I am no doubt going to get flamed for this but if only I get through to 1 person I am happy

I'm not saying this trying to be funny, but i think the easiest thing to do would be to learn how to do it yourself.
There are a lot of guides around I'm sure your aware of, it's not that difficult to string some images together, the hard part is editing smali for major theme changes.
I'm guessing the main reason it's been dropping around here is people are probably in the same boat as myself, not enough spare time to do anything, and any spare time you do have, there are more important things like family etc.
Hopefully when I get my new computer for xmas I can start doing some things again (if the missus let's me of course!!).
I agree with the ICS point, they seem to be everywhere ATM lol. I'm not a fan of stock looking themes so I'll probably try and expand the v2 of glowing glass contacts and maybe update phone candy to a final and retire it.

I am willing to learn how to make themes icons even splash themes. I know the ropes of illustrator and photoshop ect. But i need a helping hand to point me out where to start with what tutoruial. In return ill post my "work" for free. Please provide me with links so i can make the next person happy.

Nobody has any right to flame u for saying your opinion mate but IMO themers are just waiting cuz ICS is coming quite quickly and I know someone of them is just working on leaked version just to prepare their magic.
Moreover I'm sure we'll see real beautiful things cuz everybody would like to create something better to beat Samsung UGLINESS
Personally I'm in love with ICS theme by Vertumus and I can't wait to see his beauty on real ICS firmware...but for any other themes u're asking for just be patient and wait a little and you'll see I'm f***ing right

Theming for cm7 is nothing like what you see here. You need to learn the T-Mobile theme engine to create themes for cm7.

[Q] Favourite i927 RoMs

Good day!
I am new to this site so thanks for being here!
I was wondering what are people's Favourite RoMs are at this point?
I've tried a few and am really excite about these custom Roms but can't decide what and why I like each one. The WoW factor is huge right now. I like the Inc3ption V1 which was my first. Then I tried V2 which is my fav so far I think? Sorry to 'The Collective' but I changed my Bootanimation...I found one from google I was trying to change on my Rooted Stock GB but was never able to find a way to use the bootanimation.zip. Thanks to Dman for putting the custom boots in his rom! The animation I used was the android guy pissing on the apple symbol! Classic!!!!
I've just installed ItsMeBdon stock ICS and am happy about it as well!!!
I can't seem to find the 'Thanks' buttons? Am I so new I can't do it yet?
I am a Hack implementer for most devices I own and have never once Bricked a device. Would love to learn to do the hacks myself but with family life hard to find time.
I am here to test and make my device MINE so I am here to help where ever I can
I just wanted to say hi and thank everyone for their long hours of pure pleasure! Trying at times but still fun in our eyes!

Been playing with roms all day. I really like JayJay ICS and most likely staying with it. I REALLY like the RAM usage on Inc3ption v2 as I can get it down to under 150mb?
Again, If I am doing something wrong, Please let me know where else I should be asking my questions.

My favorite so far has been jayjayjoker's Krionz rom as far as ICS, and I beleive I'm on a stock kernel. I've not been able to figure out the inability to control processor speeds though when using any ICS rom and kernel currently available. I can't be certain if the governors have any affect, and i can not lower the clock manually below 768mhz. I'm trying to go back because of this, but I'd say my current favorite for Gingerbread is the Osimood rom.

My favorite is my ROM but when dman's new ROM comes its gonna be my choice.

I have Inc3ption running right meow because it's the only rom I completely setup and have a backup of. I've been playing around today withdman's alpha's as well. Got them installed and doin' what they do but still am unable to give feedback as I can't over in that section yet. Very interested in those developments!

Go into the Meet and Greet sticky and introduce your self! talk to people and get to know these good folks here. we're all here as a community helping each other! don't forget to give thanks where it's due and sometimes donate to the devs that put their time and effort creating these roms for us! without them, our phones would be imprisoned to the carriers we use. Out of all the device forums I have seen, XDA Developers is by far the most informative and the people here make to feel right at home, even tho we live all over the world!

I'm definitely waiting for dman's cm9 myself but jokers rom is what I'm running with now and its cool stuff. I think I'm going to try a hand at theming for cm9... touchwiz is kind of gross.

I am liking the look and feel of cm9. Think I'm gonna setup JayJay ICS today and make sure I have a backup of it as well...I like that I can add a custom bootanimations.zip or shoud I say sanim.zip for Inc3ption v2. When I removed the bootanimation.zip and sanim.zip v2 has a real cool plain android letters boot??? I can't seem to copy and paste it to JayJay by replacing the qmg's? It just shows Samsung Galaxy SII. Not really sure why it wont work, does it have something to do with using GB .qmg's on ICS?
Anyways, l'm OCD with checking for a new build for cm9 and can't wait to see Alpha-5 get past the boot...Not sure what I'm really doing but I even tried loading in the lite kernel after the booting locked and it didn't even show the boot animatin. It just skipped it all together and was flashing the time in the top right corner of the screen before it woud loop with the rumble.
