I tried many roms it is getting installed but freezes on boot screen need some help.(HTC ONE screen)(Roms like Insert coin,ETC,ETC....)
Currently my hboot version is also 0.96
Tried Lot of things but stuck badly.
Boot loader : Unlocked
S-ON
Previously was on ICS 4.0.4.Tried Upgrading the rom to Jellybean.
Please help me what to do stuck very badly plz plz plz....
Plz let me know if any more input required.
You can't run JB Roms with that hboot.. you need to first upgrade your firmware and then flash other roms...

That's because it is low lol
Flash this custom recovery : https://www.dropbox.com/s/p35p0tqf41jbj8b/recovery.img
Boot into recovery and charge your device for a few hours and then try to upgrade your firmware...
PS: make sure your flashing the correct firmware for your device!

Is your phone branded by vodaphone ?

But do a nandroid backup of the rom you are running now before flashing the ruu, you never know ....

Yes you have to relock the bootloader before running the ruu, and run the ruu with admin rights ! After that you can reunlock and root the same way as you did on ics

I am trying to update my GF hox to a new jelly bean rom and I havent dont it in a while and people are mentioning upgrading the hboot.
She has hboot 0.94 so which hboot should I upgrade to?
is it just a matter of flashing the RUU specific to her phone (3 uk)?

would really like a quick answer as im stuck on "HTC one X beats audio" screen
After looking here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2009525 it looks as though the jelly bean RUU for 3 UK has not yet been released.
So your best bet would be to flash an ics RUU and wait for the official jelly bean OTA update to come through on the phone. You can try a H3G UK RUU from here http://www.htcruu.com/?dir=Endeavor ,but make sure to check what your main
version is using fastboot getvar version-main to see which RUU is the one you need.
You can't update the hboot until the firmware for your CID has been released.

It comes up with an error after about 5 mins.
what am I doing wrong?

What is the error code the RUU is giving? And if the bootloader is unlocked, try locking it and running the RUU again.
Does the fastboot getvar version-main command give you the number with .771 in it?
EDIT: Also, you need to flash a stock recovery if you don't already have one. You can get one from here http://loadbalancing.modaco.com/download.php?file=endeavoru_recovery_signed.img and rename it to recovery.img and then flash it through fastboot using fastboot flash recovery recovery.img. But this has to be done before locking the bootloader.

hi thanks! it was because it was still unlocked
now i just have to find a decent ROM that is compatible!
All custom ROMs except those that run jellybean with HTC sense will work fine.
Any jellybean that are based on aosp, aokp or cm10 will work

Please my htc one x is s-on , HBOOT 0.96 and unlocked i got a virus on my htc so i formatted my sd and now i am stuck on the white screen.
i need to know step by step what to do as i followed many guides and failed to fix it.

I did the command then restart the phone but nothing happened

First how is the battery ? Charge it in the recovery if needed. You need at least 30% of power for this !!
1: put the phone in the bootloader and lock the bootloader
Fastboot oem lock
Keep the phone in the bootloader and execute the ruu with admin rights (right click the ruu.exe and select it)
This will flash the phone to stock android 4.0.4 sense 4.1. After this all you go into the settings and check for manual updates, update it to JB !

I just got my Tegra 3 One X yesterday, charged it for a few hours and then turned it on. Then installed a few apps, some of wich i couldn´t find in the phone after installed. Then i updated the software, the cellphone rebooted and it was ok. Then i updated the Sense, and started to boot loop.
In the hboot i tried both the recovery and the factory reset, but immediately after press the power button it start to boot loop again. Don´t know what to do, i can´t acces the phone with the Sync.
In the hboot screen appear Locked and S-off.

Cool another XE ! A solution is to flash the 3.14 JB firmware and then the 3.14.401.31 ruu to get to a stock rom.

After "Fastboot flash zip firmware.zip", says "remote:battery low", the same problem that i had trying to do other things, it seems that the battery is not charging.
The battery only charges inside a custom recobery or when the phone is off.
I have a script that you can run from the fastboot folder. It will continuesly reboot the phone and charge it little by little and after a while you are able to flash again.

I think the battery is at its full capacity (3771 mV). I did the "Fastboot oem rebootRUU " and it was Ok,
got the screen black with the hTC symbol in the middle. Then i did the "Fastboot flash zip firmware.zip "
first time i got "remote:13 battery low", did it again and got "remote: 00000008", did it again and got stuck on "sending zip (12876 KB)" for a while and now says "Failed (data transfer failure (Too many links))"
Battery full cap is at 4200. I would charge it more.

i have done twrp recovery ,installed cyanogen recovery but it stilll stucks on htc logo and restarts. I have also intalled ruu of ics and jelly bean also ..in jelly bean it doesnt works but on ics it installs and finishes but then agin start restarting fron htc logo...
i have also got it it j-tag but the problem is still there and it again reboots from htc logo...
i got into this mess while updating official update.. plz help me out.. i m from pakistan so i cant sent it to htc as there is no htc outlet here...please
any help will be appreciated

bro i have read all the posts of this thread, it doesnt helps me much all of it discussed is about connecting phone.. i have done all of the things installed twrp installed cyanogen but it doesnt work it only restarsts after htc logo
You have to upgrade the hboot first. Yours is to low.

You copy the zip file to the fastboot folder on the pc and rename the file to firmware.zip

Then re-unlock the bootloader and flash a new custom recovery and install a fresh new rom !
