this thread is bounty to help VIIRU§ get a laptop to support our phone like roms and kernels and more the goal is $575 i will do 75$ so now the goal is 500$ please support him
please every post your donation amount and transaction # so that way we can keep track of the amount

Hello everyone and thankyou all. This funding will get me what I need to better support our device such as. Better features in the rom, Compiling Kernels for us and even building a device tree for aosp roms to be compiled for our device. Every dime helps. Its time we jump start the development around here.

We have the devices I just don't have a computer so I been using a file manager to build the rom. But that can only take me but so far. I can't decompive or edit certain files which is a hassle cause I gitta guide my partner in adding my load of the work. I can make kernels or even aosp roms with out it. Im building a rom on the phone but if u ran V3 of the upcoming update you couldn't tell cause its so fast. Imagine what I could do if I had what I need.

OHOK but I thOught we werent Supposed to use forums to ask for money? I think the team liquid people got banned for awhile because of that....,asking for donations

I understand helping a dev out by donating for a phone. I mean, i'm a huge supporter for the dev community, but to help donate for a new computer? Please forgive my ignorance, but who these days doesn't have a computer? And how can someone who is developer don't have a computer? Hell, I have an old XP machine that I can install Ubuntu on, and be up and running like yesterday.

I had a computer a mac book pro. But it was stolen. Id be more then hapoy to use an old machine Im not high maintenance like that. Onky thing is compiling aosp roms would be next to impossible because 512mb ram and the cpu they have. Would have to sit and compile for more the 3days. I tested on my old dell. You guys aren't required to support. It would however help everyone here out. Unless no one wants miui or aosp roms and kernels.

I second that... this "virus" guy seems kinda strange.. went in ranting on jedi x yesterday and now hes asking for 500$ to buy a computer for himself...? If he says that he "changed" his name and all then why doesnt he tell us his old name. If this dudes legit ill contribute... until we figure this out id say this is a scam... oh and why is a laptop needed?

I was only trying to help that guy. A few of the features of his rom isn't working like he advertise and I was telling him what files he was missing. And if I disclose who I was myself and a few others would be out of a job. You don't have to donate its not that serious.
If anything the rant as u put it should telk u I know my stuff. Back on topic. .

I third it and feel this thread should be stricken immediately... it's a joke... I've recently donated to 2 developers to buy Galaxy Note II's and that's because their recognized developers that do amazing work... hell ptmr3 I donated to him and I can't even use his rom as I don't have the same version! But he's done such amazing work and supported all his roms without prejudiced... if you've been doing "this for a long time long b4 android" you should have gear... donating for a device is one thing... a laptop is ridiculous... ask Santa for a retirement gift... 8)

Right so that makes it right because ptr whoever had one. I do t think our forums should be turned into a funding apparatus for certain people to buy stuff in fact im going to start a thread to buy me a new computer and say im developing something. It just doesnt feel right

[Q]EFS Help.

Been reading these forums ever since i bought my I317 about a month ago, And after learning and softbricking a few times I decided to make an account here and get some help from the pro's. xD
The problem i'm running into is getting the EFS to the "point" where i can repair it
On my last softbrick, the IMEI was 0'd out but the next step replaced my IMEI with one that is*nt on the back of my phone.
I'm back on rooted N7105 International firmware and seeking help.
Any would be appreciated ;D.

I don't think anyone has had luck restoring imei number on this phone.. sorry

Lost IMEI and EFS repairs can be done...
Look for mobiletechvideos.com
They offer a restoration service for many devices...but it'll set you back $125...
Makes me wonder if it's worth it ...given the timing on the note 3 release date being so close...
