[Q] Phone won't turn on, blue led is permanently on. - Sony Xperia ZL

I tried to unlock the bootloader today,I was in the step where you have to press the volume up button and plug the usb. The blue light showed up, but due to some problems i couldn't continue the unlocking process. I disconnected the phone from the PC, but the blue light was still on. I tried turning the phone on, but no response. I tried pressing up+power, no response. I tried connecting to the PC again, nothing. I tried every single thing ,but the phone won't turn on and the light won't go off.
I searched every corner of the internet for an answer but i can't find any. This phone is brand new(i bought just 2 days ago!!!!) and i'm yet to pay for it.... Please help me, i beg you!

Try using the hard reset button at the back of the phone

Holy crap it worked thank you SO much!!!!

I haven't even bothered with unlocking the bootloader yet. I already had one weird hang with a game though.
Sometimes, it's the simpler things that we overlook. XD

Phone shuts down vibrate and no sound on calls

Ok , so my phone's is acting up. It turns off on its own then starts to vibrate in a pulsing rhythm. And when I am able to turn it on I try to make phone calls and I can't hear anything and same goes to the other end of the phone call. I read that the random reboots could be caused by a faulty power button but I don't know about the no sound phone calls. I wanted to remap the power button to + volume rocker but couldn't find an app to do it. How would I remap the button? Or better yet is my phone a lost cause? BTW I'm back to stock.

I don't think it is a faulty Power button. If it was then it would just hard reboot (holding power button for longer than 10 seconds will force reboot it). It sounds like a software issue. You could root and flash a rom and see what happens. Message me if you need any other help
Ok I rooted and flashed cm9.1 and it was running good for an hour and then bam. It shut down and started vibrating. I tried turning back on and at the phone turned off and started vibrating again.

Iv tried charging it and plugging it into my pc. the charging light doesn't show up and it doesn't connect to pc either as if i never plugged it in. Try to flash it but bootloader wont appear on the screen. Please help.

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago, although mine wasn't the camera flashing, it was the torch. I solved the problem by powering off and installing another rom. If the phone is powered on, hold the power button down until the hardware keys at the bottom start flashing and continue to hold until the flashing stops. Mine took about 30 seconds until the capacitive buttons started flashing then about another 4 or 5 seconds to stop flashing and power off. You should then be able to get into the bootloader

For me it was software, I had inadvertently set the torch to flash on pressing the power button, it worked fine with the screen on but once the screen went off it wouldn't come back on so I had to follow the steps above

ahaan thats weird never heard of this problem before
Hey ,i have the same problem as well. I thought i was the only one. i am thinking about taking it to the shop to see if they could fix it. I keep pressing the power button and eventually it would turn back on and work fine again. I've tried installing different Roms and even installed the stock rom but still the same problem. I would use it for a couple of days then randomly it would just go black and just camera flash every time i press the power button. Guessing its a hardware problem since i've tried different roms?

[Q] Bricked/Broken Optimus G (?)

Okay, so.. my phone has decided to die on me. I put it on the charger overnight a few weeks ago, and when I woke up, it wouldn't boot.
List of Problems:
Wont boot when not charging
When charging, it turns on then boot-loops
Can not do a hard reset
Tried to lngpst.. did not work.
So, I took it to Sprint about an hour ago, and the man said that I'd just have to pay the $150 to get a new one (there is a SMALL crack on the back of the phone).
He tried to reset it, and that failed. He did not open the phone, though.. and I don't have the tools necessary.
It is an LG-LS970, made in Korea.
Note:
It was rooted, but I removed the root about four weeks beforehand.
Any help is appreciated.. Thanks.
You tried getting into download mode and restoring the phone to stock with the 850MB bin file?
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda premium
Try this.
Plug your phone in for a couple hours with a wall charger. If it stays off, great. If not, press and hold the power button for 20+ sec. That will turn it off. Plugged or plugged in, not sure which. Try both.
After a couple hours take it off the charger and boot into recovery. Vol down+ power release when capacitive lights come on. This should get you into "Stock" recovery. Which is what you should have if unrooted.
Then use power button to go down, and "factory reset". Use the capacitive menu key, far right key, to activate the reset. It should boot up. If not, turn it off 20+sec and charge it a couple more hours. Unplug it, then turn it on.
Give it a shot, and let's hope it works.

You need to enter Download mode to odin.
Shut down your Galaxy Note 8.0 and reboot it into Download mode. Press and hold Volume down + Menu keys.

It seems to be the problem, but the first time I enabled the USB dowload mode. It's like there isn't nothing whitin my Note. And I only can watch an blinking white screen...
The first time I tried to change the room, there was a problem and failed the Odin flash. And when tried to turn on the Note it only display an error message, saying something that I had to repair using kies, but kies didnt recognize my Note. I tried another time, and filed too. But after this time I only can see an white blinking screen.
There are somethig I can do to restore my Note???

I think u have hard bricked ur device only way to restore it by going to samsung service center or by using 'jtag box' but using this is much risky since it requires disassemble ur tab and buying jtag box is much costly so I think only samsung sevice center can help u out

Vibration and feedback

Hi guys I kept having a problem on my xperia s recently where sometimes the vibration and haptic feedback on the soft buttons and keyboard stop working. At that time I was rooted on stock .96 firmware.
So yesterday I decided to reflash using SUS. Set everything back to how I had it. However I'm still receiving the same problem. Sometimes vibration stops when the phone rings or when I type or press the home and back buttons. Then sometimes it starts itself. If I reboot it doesn't help. Sometimes doesn't even vibrate when I press the power button to turn the phone on.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Might be hardware problem. ..Check if your vibration is correct using this keycode : *#*#0842#*#*
Hi I have tried your suggestion and it works fine when I do a service test.
Correction: only works sometimes.
Should I buy a new vibration module?

yep...better get it checked to a sony center and see what they have to say
Well I have no warranty left and can't afford the repair cost. I used to work in a mobile phone store myself so I know what I'm doing just haven't had the chance to open up the phone. So I'll try and flash it again and see what happens. After that I'll open up and inspect the handset. I've order the vibration module just in case but I'm gonna have to live with the phone like this for a while due to the holiday period
