Just got this device, noticed a few dark spots on the screen in low brightness. No issues but a little annoying. Can Samsung change it?

No if i think what it is it is a form of glue. It is normal. There is no screen without it

So I don't know if it's just me but even on its lowest setting, the SGS3 display is very bright.
Would it be possible for someone to make a script so we can lower the brightness a bit more?
In a brightly lit room on the lowest setting its very bright to me, so I wish to lower it in those times to save battery life.
Is there an after market app that can do this?

There's an app called screen filter which can make it darker. It's free I believe.

Lux is a great auto brightness app that can also be used to manually adjust the brightness down until the screen is almost not visible.

Hi
I'm wondering if there is any way to calibrate the screen of our phone. I saw my friend's galaxy s3 and the color was more vivid and the white more whiter at the same luminosity level. We're both on cyanogenmod.
Thx!

Is it normal that the wallpaper in lockscreen is bleached at the left side like this? The wallpaper is black without any pattern.

Yes that happens when the ripple effect is turned on.
Disabling it will fix that weird screen issue

Just when i set a one tone color. Its only happens on the lockscreen. I go go gallery and set as both lockscreen and homescreen wallpaper and only the lockscreen has these marks. Its driving me crazy!

Hmm i tried turning off ripple effect and it was fixed! (the black shades) the black wasnt part of the wallpaper. Is the ripple effect glitched?

I really can't see it on mine since I have a custom wallpaper on mine. The blotches could be a water "effect" to make it more realistic. I am just throwing out ideas.

Is it true that the white colour fades with time and becomes pale yellowish tinge after some use.
Any comments

I haven't noticed that, but my Tab 3 is protected by a cover, so I rarely touch the white tablet casing.
