Screen calibration - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Hi
I'm wondering if there is any way to calibrate the screen of our phone. I saw my friend's galaxy s3 and the color was more vivid and the white more whiter at the same luminosity level. We're both on cyanogenmod.
Thx!

Display Brightness

So I don't know if it's just me but even on its lowest setting, the SGS3 display is very bright.
Would it be possible for someone to make a script so we can lower the brightness a bit more?
In a brightly lit room on the lowest setting its very bright to me, so I wish to lower it in those times to save battery life.
Is there an after market app that can do this?

There's an app called screen filter which can make it darker. It's free I believe.

Lux is a great auto brightness app that can also be used to manually adjust the brightness down until the screen is almost not visible.

Light flow

I noticed the light flow app has a gs3 setting for making the light stay on while the screens on and no matter what I do it won't work for the nexus, does anyone know how to do it? It would be pretty awesome

How to lower brightness even further?

I put my dim level and brightness down to as far as they can go down and the homescreen is dimmed fine but I notice in the dark, opening a browser or a program that my brightness is pertty high and enough to keep me awake. How would I do this in AOKP roms and is there a good program to help me tweak it down further?
Any apps to control brightness by app?
I think there's a feature in the ktweaker app on KToonz's kernel that will let you drop brightness further. That's the only place I've seen it.

+1 for screen filter. I have been using it for a long time and it's been great.
Lux also allows you to go lower on brightness. It also does auto brightness way better than the stock touch wiz.

I really wish there was an app that put sepia/lowered brightness all in one app and hopefully a dropdown notification bar. I mean along iwth cell standby display tends to be the main culprit of battery drain.
Would be nice to have an app like that. DEV it
You can also use rootdim

Thanks I was looking for this exact thing.
I troll the forum in the mornings before work and the S3 on the lowest setting is still to bright and bothers my wife.

Thanks for that, I knew about Screen Filter but I was looking for something that would actually dim the backlight instead of just overlaying on the display.

Dark spots on amoled screen.

Just got this device, noticed a few dark spots on the screen in low brightness. No issues but a little annoying. Can Samsung change it?

No if i think what it is it is a form of glue. It is normal. There is no screen without it
