Is it normal that the wallpaper in lockscreen is bleached at the left side like this? The wallpaper is black without any pattern.

Yes that happens when the ripple effect is turned on.
Disabling it will fix that weird screen issue

Disable your ripple effect. It makes things fuzzy looking.

Just want to ask fellow xda members for help and opinion. Im using the same picture on my homescreen and lock screen but I have noticed that the quality of the picture on the lockscreen is nit as clear or as sharp as the one on my home screen even though im using the same picture. Any ideas?

Most likely you have the "Ripple Effect" enabled, just go into lock screen settings and disable it.

Ive tried the method u told me and it does help a bit, still not as clear as if I use the picture as home screen but better that if I have the ripple effect on. Thanks for the great advice.

Just when i set a one tone color. Its only happens on the lockscreen. I go go gallery and set as both lockscreen and homescreen wallpaper and only the lockscreen has these marks. Its driving me crazy!

Hmm i tried turning off ripple effect and it was fixed! (the black shades) the black wasnt part of the wallpaper. Is the ripple effect glitched?

I really can't see it on mine since I have a custom wallpaper on mine. The blotches could be a water "effect" to make it more realistic. I am just throwing out ideas.

It looks great on the note 3 screen. The lock screen is cool also, when you hover your finger over the screen a star appears that you can move around

That's the light lock screen from the S4. It is cool. And it does that with any live Wallpaper. On the S4 it was with any regular wallpaper.
