Sd-Card Problem - camera can not store files to card

Hello everybody!
Have an issue since i transfered some videos to the sd card of my desire.
When i start the camera-app or try to take a picture, there comes a errormessage.
Freely translated it says:
"can not store files to sd card, cause missing writing-privileges"
What can I do?
I tryed to reboot, took out the sd-card...
I can access the card in the phone with the ex-explorer, the music app, or the gallery.
So, whats wrong?
Thx for help!

[Q] Photos ans videos problem

Hello to everyone.
I just discover a nice bug on my modded Defy on the Rom Pays V4 .
Since five days no problem but last night I met the same concerns that I had in V3 of the PAYS Rom : Can not view my pictures or videos on the Defy snuff with the readers of origin of such!
I see my photos and videos in the gallery in miniature. But when I click on a picture I have a gray icon instead!
And the videos if I start with the original player I get an error "unable to open the file ..."
It works with ES Files ...
I think of a rights issue that have been "modified self" on folders or files but I'm not sure! I even tried to board the rights of the folder / sdcard / DCIM / Camera in 777 but impossible! It is (may be normal) in 075 I think
Small precision: with Super manager I can not even chmod files and folders ...
Another clarification: I just tested the music there are no worries
When I connect Defy to pc, Motorola portal don't try any photos and video.
But i've got access to the screenshots folder and cache folder ...
Could it be SD card problem? Maybe you can use pc to check the card first.

Maybe but how to be sure ?
I think i'm going to make a backup fot my applications and contacts. After that go for a format sd card lol
You can set defy usb connection to mass storage, or put the sd card to pc card reader. Then you can do a checkdisk.

[Q] MP3's/files vanishing from SD card

Hi all,
First of all, sorry if this isn't in the right sub-forum.
My step-mum's recently got herself a Wildfire and wanted some music putting on it. My younger brother tried copying some music over from his PC but when he opened the default music player, no music whatsoever was there (including the rubbish that comes pre-loaded on there).
I connected the phone to my PC and the music my younger brother copied over was not on the SD card at all. I assumed he messed something up so tried transfering the music over myself but when I unmount the SD card from my PC and open the default music player it says it can't find any music. And when I reconnected the SD card to my PC, the music is no longer there
I've installed doubletwist but it can't find any music on the phone and I've tried repeatedly unmounting and mounting the SD card to force it to rescan. I really have no idea what's up.
Any ideas would be much appreciated guys.
Sorry for asking but I need to first off, try loading the music unmount from PC then mount to PC see if music there.
If not, problem is SD.
If yes, problem is wildfire + SD.
If its wildfire + SD try putting card in seperate reader and format with HP format program (will try to link at later date). If this can't be done use windows to format, file system should be fat32. Then put it back in phone load music app, demount from wildfire and load music into a folder named music.
Hope this helps.

Thanks. It turned out to be the SD card. I had a spare 1 which I put in her phone and it's working fine.
Glad I could help.

[Q] What To Do With My 64GB SD Card

I bought my 64 GB micro SD card the other day and I was annoyed to find out that the Xperia ZL mounts the SD card in a way that I can't transfer apps to it or something. I can only transfer music and videos and pictures, or transfer files directly through file browsers with root access.
Is having 64 GB really only going to get me more music, movies, and pics? Tell me please, that there is a way to get apps on there. I have the locked bootloader C6506 so flashing is not a solution for me plz remember.

You can still root your phone, after rooting you can use app2sd to transfer apps to your external sdcard.
BTW, this belongs in Q&A
I have my phone rooted, and added exFATsupport to the phone. It worked 100%, but twrp won't read exFAT at all. Just letting you know. I added a 9GB film and it played just fine past 4GB.

Try this if you want to utilize your 64GB memory
