Disabling Menu and back button While handwriting?

Is thene a way to disable the menu and back button while using the handwriting feature? l am finding that my hand is touching the buttons whIle trying to write. Thanks

I was just thinking of this issue today.

Constantly having the same problem too...
Same thing with the Home button while its in my pocket...

I disabled my menu and back buttons completely and enabled the on screen navigation buttons. Only problems I've noticed are the stock camera app and call log don't adjust well still usable though.

[Q] S-pen cursor disappears in s-memo.

Friends,
I use the Galaxy Note 2 to draw, when I draw the s-memo (s-note) in S-pen cursor disappears and this complicates the accuracy of the drawing.
Anyone know how to turn the cursor display when designing the s-memo?

I don't think there is a way... just draw on the screen like it was paper, you don't have a cursor on paper do you?

My s pen seems to be writing/selecting by itself without me actually pressing the button or touching the screen. Is this normal for you guys or do I have me a faulty s pen?

The Galaxy Note 1, you had the option to display the cursor's S-Pen when he was sketching the S-memo.
The S-Pen has a small gap where the pen tip touches to the sketched line in the S-memo, it hinders much when making a design that requires precision.
Radrian92, that sometimes happens to me.

You may be able to adjust your S-pen; I had a similar problem and adjusted mine to solve it. Here are the instructions I found for the adjustment.

Hardware and software buttons?

Sorry if this has been mentioned but is it possible for me to completely disable my hardware buttons and enable software buttons?

I know you can enable software buttons with a line in build.prop....always forget it though. To disable the hardware buttons I am not so sure. I would guess maybe a kernel woukd need to be made with the hardware buttons disabled.

I'm still hoping that someone figures out a way so that when s pen is removed the nav buttons show up so that you can actually use nav buttons with the spen since Samsung made a complete fail by not having a way for the Spen to use the captive buttons. I don't want to have the nav buttons on the screen all the time, just when the spen is removed.

thanks alot i see that adding the softkeys mess up the camera but i dont use the camera much i just hope it doesnt mess with other apps and disabling hardware keys screw up the power button. im going to experiment on my days off

So that works forme however on main screen the apps on the bottom a d widgets are cut off by the very bottom apps... anyone else experience this

[Q] Remapping buttons?

I want to the left button to go back and the right button show recents like God intended. Samsung is confused about buttons. Possible?
I see CM 10.1 and other ROMs let you remap some keys, but not back.

Replying to my own post in case it helps someone else: This is possible with slim bean, which let's you remap the back key.

Spen not able to capture screen or lasso image

Hi!
My Spen w/o pressing the button, is able to function. But, when I press the button (on the Spen), it doesn't screen capture or trace the screen to lasso an image.
I tried it on another Note 2, my Spen works on theirs.
I tried their Spen on my Note 2, it didn't work.
Anyone notice this?

Normally all spen works in any note 2. It seem your phones digitizer having some problem. Check with service center.

Did you try looking at the spen settings? If yes and still no progress. As he said, go to the service center or at least google your problem before going there as a last resort.
