Galaxy Note T-mobile

Just a heads up to anyone looking out for this device or waiting for its release we just got them in stock at my corporate store. Limited though. Only 3 stores in Arizona have them right now. I wasnt told a date that they are going on sale yet.

Yeah but im not gonna post in the AT&T forum and figured Id go with the closest Samsung phone on Tmo. I know some are looking.

I was told August 8th is the official release. So unless you want to lose your job...your store won't be able to sell them until then.

It is pretty antiquated being that a new one is around the corner. Don't see why anybody would buy one.

Don't buy this phone it will already be a generation old in two months, it's a shame that it's taken so long to start selling this phone.... the screen has a ppi of 285 plus it has a pentile display...its a no go just wait.

Walmart deal coming up.

I just got off the phone with T-Mobile and the rep told me Walmart is cooking up a big promotion for the S3. I called to upgrade one of my lines and asked him if they can match or beat the WireflyFriends price and he said unfortunately no but Walmart is getting ready for a big S3 promotion. Fingers crossed that it beats the WireFly sale price.

I already got $50 back from CarToys because of Walmart's S3 price. I'm hoping they drop it farther so I can get more, but I'm not sure how much time I have left from CarToys to do that.

dont know about wirefly but I bought mine from Costco for 179.99$

I don't know what the other sales are. But tmobile can beat em. Especially if your contract is about up.
Got mine for $79.99!
Ask for retentions, or at least customer loyalty. But retentions can do even better. Google tmobile retentions deals galaxy s3 for more info.

Did you just tell the automated machine retention? I didn't know that I'll give it a try.

I did try that but still got customer loyalty. I loyaly offered me $279 for phone, $150 credit bringing it to $129. Also got. $20 5gb data plan and a $10 per month bill credit every month for 24 months. I told her I wasn't ready to pull the trigger yet and would call back. Asked her if she made notes on my acct for all she offered which she did.
Called back next day and this time made sure I got on with a retention specialist. They saw notes on my account so honored all the offers. I said I didn't think I could accept because it still meant I had to initially pay $279 which I couldn't afford to do. He did some looking at something and said he could bring it down to $229. I asked if I would still get the $150 credit which I did. I told him I still didn't have that much to spend initially and he said he could apply the cost to my next bill, so after credit I would only have to pay the $79 on my next bill!
Oh and I also got free overnight shipping!!!

Wow, that's amazing. Been with them for almost ten years with multiple lines, hopefuy that helps me out. Thanx for the info, I will be glad paying 150. Guess I will give this tomorrow a try.

I've been with them since the Voicestream days, over 10 or 11 years ago. That definately helps, especially if they think you are gona cancel.
The other thing is my contract had already expired which gives max leverage.

Finally got my Note II

Hot Dog....finally got my Note II. I've been waiting for Sprint to get a Note variant since they orginal Note first launched in Europe.
Came close to switching carriers a few times becuase Sprint never seemed to want to catch-up.
I'm glad I waited though.
The Note II is awesome.

Just got mine also! Oh man is this thing awesome. I've waited for something like this and had an Epic 4g slider the whole time.

I've been a bad boy, I know I shouldn't but the temptation is killing me. My Evo LTE will get push to the kid (hope I don't regret the switch). Now on to root and all.

Well, how's the difference? LOL....I too have the Epic 4g and have to wait until tomorrow to go to the Sprint store.
I am REALLY getting tired of the daily lockups/reboots.

Picked up mine a couple of hours ago. Loving it so far!
Everyone I work with is getting a kick out of it every time I get a call! "Look, Ricks talking to his laptop again."

This is my first full touch screen so it's really different as I could text without looking before. All I need is a hotspot workaround and this phone will be awesome! It makes the epic feel like an old Palm.

I have to wait until 12/1 for mine :crying:

Yea me too but they just opened this forum. Ive been lurking in the international one. So maybe this will pick up. Plus from what I can tell, the launch seemed very limited. Anyway, I have never seen a nicer phone outta the box. Put root on this sucker and ill be a happy camper!

Wife and I got the only 2 white ones the store had... felt stupid being the only 2 there at 8 but it paid off when the next guy to come said they only would have 4 phones, 2 white and 2 gray. 4 people walked in and got sent away to look at other stores.

yeah all the stores i called said people bought them out when they opened the doors..then the store that had on left said that people were buying 3 and 4 of them at a time...didnt think this phone would be that popular..ive had the og evo, galaxy , galaxy s2 and about 4 or 5 other android devices as ive bounced around from carrier to carrier, and NEVER had a problem finding a store that had the phone i wanted until today.

First store I went to their lock broke on the cabinet holding the phones. They couldn't get into it to sell them. Drove another 10 minutes and got a grey one at another sprint store. Really liking it so far

Sprint wont do nothing but you could, sell the GS3 on Ebay and pay the difference on the Note

I did the same. Luckily I had an upgrade available for one of the lines on my account. Just sold the S3 and more than covered the upgrade cost.

Same here, but I sold mine over a month ago.

Yeah, just sell the SG III on ebay for like $350 or $400 and then your getting the Note for the upgrade price.

You have a trial period with sprint of 14 days I believe so you could exchange it within that time. I almost jumped ship and got the s3 as well, but research showed me the note 2 was coming a month later.

Craigslist!!!!!
Sale your phone.. buy new one.. or... Buy new one then sale yours.. just ensure you check the ESN. I've gotten 3 phones that way.. Each an upgrade.. went from Epic (original) to Touch for $50 and no contract renewal.

Looks like the eBay route is the easy to go. To get an s3, you're probably looking at $200 agree selling this phone.
But it's out really worth it? My upgrade isn't for another year but I'd rather use it on a big upgrade, not an incremental one.

I had a lil over a year left on my contract. I told them i wanted an early upgrade and they said i can either buy my upgrade of 225 or cancel amd re-open. After reading of the thread here i think? One od the member mentioned push thru and i decided to give it a try. The rep. Transfered me to account and services and i bought my upgrade for 100 I still have my E4GT. But you have the option to sell back if you'd like. Hope this helps.
