Lost photos from ROM flash - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

I flashed cm10.1 and I noticed that the photo gallery is empty. Is it hidden or is it deleted? I have never had this issue when flashing ROMs on my galaxy nexus, g2 or g1...all my SD card contents never got touch.
I'm using the latest CWM recovery.

I tried and nothing is under that folder(same as going to sdcard from the root folder). The weird thing is that I have a ROM and gapps downloaded in my Download folder and when I go to the recovery to flash it, the Download folder is empty....but when I reboot the phone, I see it in the sdcard/download directory....neeeeed helpppp

You have not lost anything.
Use a file manager like Root Explorer and navigate to
/storage/sdcard1 /emmc and /sdcard/0
You should find everything you are looking for in these locations.
Good Luck!

Looks like it would be a lot easier for you if you simply plugged your phone into
the computer and made two empty folders on your windows desktop.
One called InternalSD the other ExternalSD and simply copy the contents of internal and
external into those folders and in windows
Then by doing simple search in windows you will find everything that you are looking for.
Once you find all the stuff you are looking for move only those files and folders you need
into a new folder on your windows desktop and start from there.
Good luck!

Internal storage problem

Hey guys. Hope this is the right section for this post. Just noticed I only had 1 gig of memory left. Seems odd since I usually don't put too much garbage on my SD card.
Any who I cleared some junk and noticed something weird. Used space is showing about 4 gig. But only shows 4 gig available?!
Doss that mean only half the SD card is actually usable??
Thanks.

Nandroid backups?
Ya I guess but I thought those were saved on the SD and it would take into acct everything on the SD card.
On a side note....I have almost 2 gigs worth of blobs!! Is that normal?? Seems mighty high.

In latest versions of cwm, you can change the backup method back to tar in the backup and restore menu, should be easy to find.

sure! as long as you already have your bootloader unlocked and recovery flashed.
download the rom to your phone reboot to recovery and flash
I'm not entirely sure. Can you boot the phone? if so you could use an android terminal on your phone to push the whole system.
Something like
Code:
adb remount
adb push sdcard/blahblah/system/ /system
If it works let me know. why do you not have access to a computer?
Edit: His idea is better than mine. I keep the recovery stock until i use it and boot a TWRP recovery image. Good luck Brochacho!

Did the thread i linked to do no help? The zip in that thread will put you back on stock unrooted mb1.
I honestly don't think root has anything to do with your memory issue. I would bet there is leftover crap that didn't get deleted somewhere.
You can try formatting your internal sd card, though that'll delete everything, but it'll give you a fresh start.
Make sure to have a backup of something on your external sd card though.

If your memory is low, make sure you don't have ROMs or big downloads left over from downloads. Make sure you delete the backups with a file explorer.

Cleaning up SD card after multiple flashes?

I've flashed dozens of roms in the last month & for some reason cwm (I think this is the culprit) creates all these 0/ folders & it's really annoying. Now all ym downloads, music & apks are ALL over the place. Is there a fix for this? Or is there something I'm doing wrong? Please help.
