What does being rooted have to do with memory?
Best advice youtube qbking77 and search for his unroot video.

Im honestly not sure but i everytime i flash a rom my internal memory decreases i go back and delete the things i dont need anymore but that doesnt help any so i just want to return to stock and factory reset everything and reroot just to start from scratch. Might help. Do you have many backups or multiple roms stored on your internal sd card? Those take a lot of space.

Did the thread i linked to do no help? The zip in that thread will put you back on stock unrooted mb1.
I honestly don't think root has anything to do with your memory issue. I would bet there is leftover crap that didn't get deleted somewhere.
You can try formatting your internal sd card, though that'll delete everything, but it'll give you a fresh start.
Make sure to have a backup of something on your external sd card though.

If your memory is low, make sure you don't have ROMs or big downloads left over from downloads. Make sure you delete the backups with a file explorer.

What Happened to Blazer ROM Thread in Sprint SGSIII Dev Forum?

Just got done flashing Blazer ROM on my SGSIII and noticed that the entire thread is gone. What happened?
I would also like to know . Well at least my rom is still downloading
Nobody knows not even phantom

this is getting ridiculous. obviously a mod must have removed it. if you are going to remove a thread for some unknown reason AT LEAST post in the thread that its removed for whatever reason so a bunch of people aren't wondering where the hell it well.
that being said it seems to be working great.
if a thread is removed we minimally deserve a closed/locked notification in the thread
Yea I was about to post a topic about this. Wat the hell happened?? Im flashing the ROM right now.
Can someone pm me the rom or link me to there dropbox. I was downloading from my phone it failed . i am unable to download and flash smdh
An explanation would be nice
Yeah, I rooted tonight just bc of his ROM and then when I was done it was gone.

Running it now. Pretty smooth and snappy. Will have to see how it goes. Benchmarks have not been to good, but that doesn't mean much. PH's roms have always been good.

It doesn't move apps to sd, but I heard of this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849861&highlight=app2extsd Dont forget to hit thanks if thats what you are looking for
I guess you're looking for the app2sd from Froyo... ICS can't do that nativly, but there are work arounds with root. Like the one posted above, but that swaps you interal with external memory.
The best option would be Link2SD, reported working in Sprint SG3 by a few members. But for this to work you need to partition your extSdCard so it has a ext4 and FAT32 partition, if you don't know how then follow this post that has detailed instructions.
I remember seeing this in the news feed... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1888986

Thanks. It's not quite what I'm looking for though. I want to be able to install either CleanRom or Jedi X Rom.
after you root with what he posted then go to play store and download goomanager.after that open it and click menu button, then click install open recovery script, wait for it to finish then you can reboot to recovery.

I agree with slicingtaco, find the Exynosabuse.apk from Chainfire here on XDA and install it. You will be able to do this right from your SGN2. After rooting, get goomanager from the play store. open goomanager and in the menu choose 'Install OpenRecoveryScript'. That will download and install TWRP which will overwrite the stock recovery, which, after all of this you can install custom ROMS.
Right after rooting, you may have to get BusyBox Free from the playstore and install busybox.
Good Luck!

Cleaning up SD card after multiple flashes?

I've flashed dozens of roms in the last month & for some reason cwm (I think this is the culprit) creates all these 0/ folders & it's really annoying. Now all ym downloads, music & apks are ALL over the place. Is there a fix for this? Or is there something I'm doing wrong? Please help.
