You will now be asked for drivers. Point to the usb_driver-folder where you placed the android_winusb.inf-file, and select the Android Bootloader Interface-file. If you are not asked for drivers, and your phone starts to boot as usual, it is not possible to unlock the boot loader on your phone.

Turn phone off. Press and hold volume down key and plug in the cable. After flashtool recognized your device in flashmode (5sec) you can release the volume key

Flashtool needs usb debugging enabled, if I remember correctly. And fastboot seems to need a special usb mode. I you can't boot to change those values maybe a repair in PC companion will help.
Xperia ZL, 4.2.2 Stock (.67), rooted
let me describe what I did :
1. open back cover.
2. unplug Power cable.
3. plug USB cable.
4. fun flash tool on PC.
5. Hold Vol down and connect USB cable.
6. it did flash my phone.
But now my phone stuck on Flash mode. I did Vol up and connect USB cable but it did'nt help at all it get me to blue light ??
the flashtool ask me to turn off my phone and press home button and connect the USB cable?? I don't have Home button coz my phone is not booted!!!!
Any suggestions to boot on normal mode not flash mode.

try the above solution and see if it works ..repair via pc companion
It's the same its boot in the flash mode as you can see below:
INFO - Device connected in flash mode
but when I use BLU its that i have to press the home button?? I cannot run the home button
That's crazy.
First: flashtool don't want home, it want the back button
Second: zl don't have back button when it's off, it's the volume down key
Third: you don't have a friend who had knowledge about flashing Android's? You are on the best way to kill your zl, when it's not killed right now

That is another way. You can just navigate into flashtool folder and search for driver setup and install the fastboot driver
Type your command and press enter will show waiting for device
Then connect the phone in fasrboot
The command will be executed
Try this. Hope it works

Hi All
I have a sony Xa1 G 3116 and I flashed stock OS through Flashtool.
Error apperared while flashing. I forgot to note the error.
After that my phone doesn't switch ON or doesn't get into download mode too.
Indicates a red LED when connected to a charger or Laptop.
Someone guide me please.
Note : I have tried Xperia Companion too. It doesn't detect my phone since it can't get into download mode. I have all sony USB drivers installed to my lap too.

Try to reconnect phone connecting to your lap with an USB, and than booting it long pressing up and down volume buttons at the same time and boot button, until your phone is detected by Xperia Companion or ADB.
Should work!:highfive:

While connecting it with PC , it gets disconnected automatically and again connnects and holds barely for about 3 secs.
What to do now ?

Did you release keys when it gets connected with PC?
If yes, do the same thing holding or only volume down button + power or volume up + power, with same modality.
Tell me if it works :highfive:

So let's start with CMD:
- Try to connect phone and run CMD as administrator and type: adb reboot recovery
[If it doesn't work]
- adb shell svc power reboot recovery
This should work! (I'm searching for other ones)
:highfive:
BONUS: if It doesn't work, search for "USB jig" on eBay or Amazon, it will put your device into "download mode" :good:
I have the same problem
I will try and reply

Connect it to Computer while keeping Volumen Up pressed
or down
One of these will lead into a blue LED mode.
(To turn of just disconnect)
Now in fastboot write "fastboot reboot" with google platform tools.
