Do you have anyway to connect it to a pc or another device to see if it isnt just your particular device.
Yes I do.

I have to delete the etc/init.d/ but I can't. Tried using es explorer as well

How is this even possible? I would think this is a very serious problem if it can happen naturally. Could you please advise how to prevent this from happening?

too little info. tell what u run. Reflash to stock if cannot solve.
Running V.03 btw. Max Lee set it up for it to switch for some reason. I just downloaded root explorer and that let me delete that file so I rebooted and it switched back! For anyone who had the same problem here is your solution.

Why don't you go and download an app that requires root to see if it works
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app
If you have an SD card in remove it, and then check.
Thats exactly what i did and it actually worked my status says official not custom anymore never wouldve thought my class10 sd card wouldve triggerd it, thanks

Insufficient Internal Storage Space

I know this is not a new issue but I thought with the new android 4.3 update and the ability to move apps to our sd card it would have been a thing of the pass.
I'm on Jovi's 4.3 update and I am not able to download all the apps I want to, ( apps that I had on my s3 no problem) and I am also not able to update a few apps in my play store.
Am I missing something here, is there something I'm not doing correctly?

I had a similar issue I had found that my back up I made in cwm was 4.5 gigs which didn't leave me enough room for apps I moved the file from internal sd to ext sd havent had that problem come back

Internal memory & SD card memory swap

Since the 4.3 update I was wondering if anybody out there know if us note 2 owners can trick the phone into thinking the SD card is the internal memory. I know it use to be done on 4.1.2 jellybean

Its probably better to use foldermount from the play store. It works with every rom and kernal I've used without a problem. The memory swap is great but it may never happen on updated roms now.

External SD card and G PAD... try to clarify

Do you have an external microsd mounted on your G PAD?
They work... OR seem to work?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sdcardmonitor
Please use the above apps and show your results!
install app and use your tablet, put it in sleep mode when not used (don't turn off over night) and post:
brand, size of card and formatting system... fat32, exfat etc.
system rom and version
rooted?
custom recovery or not and version
results of apps and time interval of use.
Trying to collect as many data for statistical purpose and to know why for some people external sd show problems.
Thanks.
No one have problems? All of us are skeptical?

I installed the app yesterday and was shocked to find 19 bad dismounts this AM. I also installed it on one of my phones and another tablet. Guess what no bad dismounts. What the heck could be causing this behavior only on the G Pad?
I'm running LG 20b with TWRP recovery and a 64 GB GSkill SD card.
Just installed… will report back with results.

So yesterday I swapped out my SD card with the one in my phone. Its a 32 GB Sandisk that the previous day showed no dismounts at all. Just checked my G Pad and in 14 hours I had 17 bad dismounts. On my phone the Gskill that was in the tablet shows no issues at all.
So it is 100% a problem with the G Pad. It just seems strange that some have no issues at all. I'm wondering if it has to do with the way the sd card is used. I use foldermount and have about 30 GB of games and data that I'm constantly using. As others have stated I never get a dismount while in use only when the tablet sleeps for more than 10 minutes.
I sent in a service inquiry to LG and maybe they can supply an answer. I'm betting that this is why I've had 3 dead SD cards in the G Pad since I've owned it.
Can it caused by foldermount? Somebody who does not use foldermount and has the unmount issue ?

I don't use any SD card apps. I only use my SD card for media… books, videos, etc. I do not store any apps or app data on the card.

I'll see if foldermount is causing my dismounts. I just flashed 20b fresh and will not install anything else and see what my results are.
I also stopped the mounting in the app itself...and now see waht the result is... after one hour still no unmount of the sdcard . Fingers crossed...

Over 24 hours passed, and any unexpected unmount occurred so far.
My specification:
Stock ROM 4.4.2 - V50020a - Updated via OTA
Stock recovery
Rooted (IOroot25)
Kingston microsdhc 32Gb class 10 - FAT32.
But in the past, has happened to me 3 times, the unexpected unmount. What I did however, already posted in another thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52630711#post52630711
And until now not happen again.

Tried that fix and in my case did not help. About 90 minutes ago my card disappeared completely. I removed it and put it in my reader and there was 719 errors that got repaired. Card works again in tablet but still dismounts continuously. I'm going to install another rom and monitor what happens. If another rom does the same I'll be getting another tablet asap. Kind of wished I had never noticed this thread because I thought everything was cool after removing link2sd
