Hi Guys
Just wanted to check with you if you had the same issues or know how to solve it.
When on Tablet mode, and switch to Speed Gauge Battery Icon, it just shows 0 and that the battery is empty. I tried to adapt the dpi but doesnt change anything.
Did you face the same issue?
It was just a bug. Now this is solved

Im having battery reading problems.
My battery percentage stays at 100 percent, then goes down to 95, then to 90.
How can i fix this?
I have tried wiping battery stats.
Your not using rom tool box battery icons by any chance? If so then there's your problem because I had the exact same thing happening to me when I used that app to change my battery icon layout
Sent from my R800i
nvm, i fixed it myself. It was because of the TinyBattMod.
I got a different version and it got fixed.
In a previous post I wrote about an issue I was having with battery drain, that I was somewhat able to fix. After switching over to FI03 I noticed the drain wasn't so bad but obvious. The only way I can get a full days charge on my phone is to go into task manager and close every application before I put my phone in stand by and set it down. Surely this can't be right, isn't that is what stand by is supposed to do, suspend those apps I was using until I wake the phone again? Maybe there's some other app that will do this automatically, or some fix I'm missing. I know there's a million "battery drain" threads, I'm just wondering since I've isolated issue and am able to recreate it, is there a way to fix it?

Just use the kies update FH13
UPDATE: I found again, as in my previous post I mentioned, if I remove the SD card I'm not getting the battery drain, I can even leave all those same apps running like previously. So I'm getting two different things that are solving my battery drain. How can I diagnose the issues based on the two resolutions 1) shutting down all my tasks before I click the home screen off and 2) taking my SD card? Between those 2 issues it should make it easier to figure out what the problem is. Any ideas?
Use programs like better battery stats and system panel lite to narrow down the problem. A fresh installation from scratch always helps too.
Thanks for the tips, anyone else?
Put your SD card back in your phone after backing up anything you want to keep from it, and format it. It should fix your battery issue. There is a bug with our phone (maybe other phones?) with the SD card causing battery drain.
Hello,
Facing this issue a number of times per week.
The phone was fully charged and kept as it is. Saw the charge left as 95%. After few hours of no activity on the phone, I try to unlock and find that it has switched off. Power button press won't start the phone. Had to take out the battery and put it back and then on power button press, phone starts.
Checked the battery level and found that there was a vertical dip of battery level from 84% to 0 and it was like that - till i booted the phone again.
After boot, again the battery level shows at 83%!
This sudden drain of battery to 0 although when phone was sufficient amount of charge has been happening quite a number of times.
Please see this screenshot. Is this due to a bad battery or my phone is "dying"!
Please help and let me know if any more information is required.

I also had the same problem. In order to avoid it I am forced to reboot it on my own! Even I am working on my phone it is shutting down. This happened from the first takju update to 4.2. when I was in yakzu for previous versions I had no problem. If anyone has any idea please let us know.
Thanks in advance...
There have been multiple reports of the phone crashing which is likely causing your battery drain, its not randomly shutting down, its just unresponsive but using more power than if it were running normally.

What do you suggest to do? Have anyone found any solution. Some people suggest a "reset to factory". Will it fix anything?

Hi,
Only one solution I have found to the problem - are you using any app which is using Google Location service?
I was using HD Widgets - uninstalled and found that the problem was gone.
Then found at HD widgets page in Play store, that the problem was with Google location service itself and not any specific app - HD widgets since then, have released a new version compatible to 4.2.1 and there haven't been crash reported.
Now I have disabled the setting of letting an app use Google Location service - that way , no random shutdown, no instant battery drain for me till now.
Additionally you can install Franco kernel on your rooted Nexus - it doesn't have any Sleep of Death issue (unresponsive lock screen).

That is a bit difficult to understand.
Could that be related to the 0% battery issue? Not familiar with it myself, anyone else maybe.
inb4 ppl say it -> There is no such thing as Battery Calibration. It doesn't help at all. And deleting batterystats.bin file doesn't help either. Go Google if you don't believe me. So please, keep that kind of chitchat away

i have very annoying issue on my Xperia Z1 Compact... i have a lot of battery fails, in particular big drops from 55-45% to 0% or from 70% to 0% in one second...
i have in my phone the latest version of AICP Rom (aicp_amami_n-12.1-NIGHTLY-20170527)...
i have noticed that if i try to turn on my phone immediately it turns off after the boot screen, but if i try to turn it on a while later, it turns on normally and shows probably the "real" % of battery remained...
i tried to do a battery calibration with the Battery Calibration app from the playstore and to delete the batterystats.bin file from the recovery menu... but it does not work...
i use the app Root Booster to increase the performance of the phone...
any solution or suggestion to solve this problem?

If the battery is over 1 1/2 years old, it's a sign that it needs to be replaced.
