Battery Reading Problems - Xperia Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

(SOLVED)
Im having battery reading problems.
My battery percentage stays at 100 percent, then goes down to 95, then to 90.
How can i fix this?
I have tried wiping battery stats.

Your not using rom tool box battery icons by any chance? If so then there's your problem because I had the exact same thing happening to me when I used that app to change my battery icon layout

nvm, i fixed it myself. It was because of the TinyBattMod.
I got a different version and it got fixed.

[Q] Instant battery drain

Hey all
Something strange happened with my HD this morning.
At 5:30 the battery level was 90 %.
I wanted to test the battery drain, by leaving Mobile Data on,
and have Current Widget make a log file.
When i woke up at 11:30 the phone was dead. The battery
was completely empty....
I looked at the log file of Current Widget, and everything
was normal. Battery use was 3-5 mA, with the occasional spike to 50 mA,
where it prob. updated something.
Then at 07:36 it used 54 mA, and was on 86 %, and then nothing.
It died. And the battery was empty......
From 86% to zero in under 1 minute ?!?
Has anyone ever heard of such a thing ?
I'm on Core Droid 6.3, with Kernel Leedroid 2.6.35.13
Baseband : 12.54.60.2SU_26.09.04.11_M2
Have never had any problems before, and didn't install anything new...
Thanx for any help.
Maybe a battery calibration is in place?

3 things:
-you wake up at 11:30???? great hour!lol
-when you flashed your current rom you did wipe battery status?
-maybe there is some openned apk´s? take a look in settings-- process in progress
-if the problem persists and you can´t solve it i recommend to you do will wipe
reflash the rom, wipe batt. status & use batery calibrator tool

Thank You guys.
I did wipe Battery Status, and it has been running with no problem, and with
great battery life for about a week.
What freaked me was, that it happened so fast. According to Current Widget's
log file anyway.
From 86% to dead in under 1 minute.
Sounds imposibble. Just hope it never happens again
It has been running fine all day, with minimal battery use....
Thanx again, guys.

[Q] Battery Bugs anyone?

Hi there,
got my galaxy nexus yesterday and have to say i'm really impressed
but mine has a battery bug, not very fatal but it's there
i'm in an app (yesterday it happened once using youtube and some time later using imdb) and suddenly the screen flutters to warn me due to low battery, battery indicator showing low.
when i switch back to the homescreen the battery indicator went back to normal (~60% at that time)
anyone else recognized this?
infos: all stock, build is ITL41F
Cycle your battery a few times and see if it persists.

[Q] incorrect battery graph

Hi all
I have a question regarding something weird I have ever since I started using custom roms on my Gio.
it seems the battery graph doesn't update correctly
for example
my phone is unplugged for 12 hours
it displays 9 or 10 hours on the top of the graph
and only 8 hours beneath it.
then when I'm using my phone for a while the battery value jumps to something lower and then the top and bottom values are correct but there's a big jump at the end of the graph (similar to the picture)

anyone has something similar happened to them? and how did you fix this?
I tried calibrating my battery with the 'battery calibration' app in the market
no dice
Go ti clockworkmod recovery, advancdd- wipe battery stats
Reboot
Charge till 100%
Let it fall out when out of power at 0%, then charge it back to 100% and your problem is fixed

[Q] Wrong Battery Indicator

Hi, i bought the note2 yesterday, I've rooted and flashed with stock rom deodexed. Then I added the zip for showing battery percent instead the battery indicator.
The problem is that the percent shown is wrong!
Today it stayed at 100% until about 90% of real battery, then it changed to 85%.
Do you have some idea?
Thanks.

What this code does?
EDIT: Ok so i tryed to quick start for calibrate the battery from that batteryStatus and it dropped down the percent from 95% to 90%, but the battery indicator of the status bar dropped down from 100% to 85%.. i don't understand why this value is different from the real percent of the battery shown in settings and in that hidden application..

Battery problem...

i have very annoying issue on my Xperia Z1 Compact... i have a lot of battery fails, in particular big drops from 55-45% to 0% or from 70% to 0% in one second...
i have in my phone the latest version of AICP Rom (aicp_amami_n-12.1-NIGHTLY-20170527)...
i have noticed that if i try to turn on my phone immediately it turns off after the boot screen, but if i try to turn it on a while later, it turns on normally and shows probably the "real" % of battery remained...
i tried to do a battery calibration with the Battery Calibration app from the playstore and to delete the batterystats.bin file from the recovery menu... but it does not work...
i use the app Root Booster to increase the performance of the phone...
any solution or suggestion to solve this problem?

If the battery is over 1 1/2 years old, it's a sign that it needs to be replaced.
change battery. there is a topic related to this issue already here.,
Yes change your battery to new. Issue gets solved.
