Google Now with voice search working? - HTC Wildfire S

Google now works, but keyboard voice and voice search do not. Anyone have this working? I understand that the marvel is a Armv6.

Currently, no one on the wildfire s forum has it working or for that matter, has tried porting it.

Thanks guys. If I do find a package that works, I'll be sure to post it!

Please send me the link for the working Google Now!

Is there a way to get voice search to work (i.e. remove the Google voice search that comes with a ROM and install an old one?)

[Q] Rooted to ICS. Voice Recognition Not working

Just rooted my Incredible 2 to Android 4.0.3 with Open Kang Project. Everything works great except for the voice recognition. Everytime I try to use my voice for commands, it just says audio problem. Please Help!
Thanks
Touchpro's rom and possibly possibly aeroevans (not sure if it has been updated yet) have voice search working.

Everything works great?
I am not being sarcastic, but everything?
Including the camera (front and rear) and hd recording?
I've read these do not work.

TP's roms have voice search functionality working perfectly fine, but Aero's roms don't have a working voice search yet.

Siri like app

Anyone using one of the Siri like apps in the market? I'm currently looking at Skyvi, Vlingo Virtual Assistant, Jeannie (friend of Siri) and Andy - Siri for Android (Free or Full) and was wondering what your experiences have been like.
I used the Samsung s voice app. It worked great until everyone installed it and slammed the servers. Now all I get is network errors.

"Note: You need to have "Voice Search" and "TTS library" installed in your phone for iris. to work. Most of the phones have these pre-installed, if not please install them from Android market before you try iris."
I know we have Voice Search preinstalled but do we have TTS library as well? Not sure how to confirm that.
I used Iris (siri spelled backwards) for a while. Switched to S-voice ripped out of the SGS3 today.

Just thought you guys should know, in case you didn't see - Someone found a workaround for S Voice:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1664785
Also, S Voice is apparently based on Vlingo.. Anyone try out the new "Vlingo Labs"? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vlingo.phoenix
Yeah, the workaround is iffy for some, especially getting a proper location.
I did some more research
So people are saying the S Voice app is iffy (on GNex) - bad voice recognition and many force closes.
Vlingo Labs is very limited in features right now. Looks like I'm waiting out on Siri functionality. I'll stick to the ICS built-in voice actions for now
I've tried a few different ones and I dug AIVC the most of the lot

Another vote here for speaktoit assistant. The best I've tried by far.
dragon go
Well, I am trying "Evi" now. It's only version 1.1.0, but so far not bad.
I've been using AIVC for a while now....and have tried most of the other ones, but like it the most!
The only complaint I have is that if I ask it to send a text, it doesn't pick up the contact name...but I can't really blame it since it only does it contacts who's names aren't normal english ones haha

Fully Functional Google Now Working On ICS With Full Voice!!

Here is a link to flashable zip to get google now working in full. I take no credit for this. Just linking to the thread where all the hard work has been done. Please read through the entire thread if you have questions. A big thanks to lenny kao for getting google voice fully functional without needing any workarounds.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29646975#post29646975
Just flash the zip in recovery and you will have a fully functional google now!
Can you post a link to download cwn zip

It takes svoice function away and it's been out for a while now it does work but you need another app to make it work so it's not fully integrated yet I'd wait

Read the thread, looks like only thing this adds is voice but otherwise is same as old apk version. Also people have been complaining its not working and you're messing with libs. Will wait

Yeah my bad on that. Meant to post in the general section, but posted on the development by mistake. If a Mod could remove this post that would be great.

It functions just as the Jelly Bean version does. You no longer need JohnnyG's mod to get voice working. So far I have not any problems with the mod. If you want to get caught up on the thread start at post #2370.
Google now works, but the voice doesn't hear anything I say to it
I flashed it and voice works for me. I'm on a stock rooted rom.

Any idea how to get S Voice working again? I cannot get the double tap to work after doing this mod....
It's frustrating because I use it regularly to make calls using my bluetooth speaker in my car.

Try the app "Home2 Shortcut" in the appstore. Use that or Apex Launcher's double tap option and set it up to read the application "Voice Search" for google now, or look for "S voice." It works for me with very minimal lag.

Why is one specific Google voice function fc'ing?

Hi guys, so I found out you can say "note to self.." followed by what you want to note on Google voice search in JELLYBEAN. Apparently, it sends it via email to your gmail, but when saving, the app force closes. Its on that specific function. Everything else works. any ideas? Thank you

don't make a comment on here if you have nothing productive to say. at all. don't really need this kind of ***t around here. just sayin.
to the OP... not sure what the issue is, mine is working just fine. i know that there was an update to the google search app a little while ago. go into your market and verify it has been updated. if that doesn't work, try fixing permissions through recovery. let us know

Optimus G and the Google Now Launcher

Hey there,
Just tried to install the new Google Now Launcher / Google Experience Launcher on my phone. I am running stock first of all.
Tried almost all apks for the new Google search and Google home app. But when I select the Google launcher, I will just end up with forced closes. Changing the phones language and/or Google search language just won't work for me. Same problem with all settings and apks.
Anybody here using or having used the new launcher on their Gs?

Maybe try the new launcher that Google posted and see how that works? It's currently only for GPe and Nexus devices, but I'm sure it's been leaked on the internet SOMEWHERE.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.launcher
I actually have had the same problem as the OP and would like the launcher, so I will be searching myself and seeing how this works. Will keep you posted.

Strangely enough, I have the same problems. I want to know how LG made this not work without issuing a single update. -.-
Sorry to disappoint everyone, but I don't think that the new launcher will work on our phones until it is released for everyone via the Play Store.
KitKat only
I think the Google Now Luncher only works on KitKat Roms
