What The Best Box For HOX - HTC One X

Hey Everybody ....
Im Just Looking For A Box That Support Erase, Full Flash And Unlocked My HOX
Cuz My HOX Stuck On Fastboot Menu With Locked ( Cant Unlocked It ) .

Why is it stuck there ? Are you on full stock with a locked bootloader (does it literally say LOCKED ?)
If so try factory reset.
Otherwise this might help

MY HOX Arabic CID J_15 With 1.38 Hboot
I've Unlocked it And Install Android Revolution 9 Suddenly MY HOX Reboot Into Fast Menu And Change From Unlock To Looked ( No System, No Recovery )
I Cant Do Factory Rest ( Nothing Happened Just Reboot Into Fastboot Menu )
But Theres A New Option In Fastboot Menu Called ( Security Reset ) When I Pressed ( KeyCard Checked Failed )
What I Do ?
Sorry For My English

Hmm the only option you have is to try and unlock the bootloader ! Could be a partial bootloader brick.....going from unlocked to locked does not suppose to happen !
Put the unlock code.bin file in the fastboot folder and flash it with this command
Fastboot flash unlocktoken unlock_code.bin
That should bring up the menu on the phone to unlock the bootloader.

Securit reset means that you've messed up some really low level software.
It was in the s-off thread also: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2057105&page=21
Matt never got it unlocked again so he just sent it to a repair center. I guess you must do the same.

[Q] unroot hox for warranty

i'm one of the lucky guys with 3 failures at his phone at the same time:
1. yellow spot
2. wifi/bluetooth
3. flickering screen when grey
so i need to return my phone for a fix but it's rooted. At first followed more guides here. very usefull but i can't find my right RUU!
The phone was bought in the netherlands but it came with a Orange UK [branded] rom.
from the WIKI said:
Total recovery - flashing a RUU to completely restore your phone
If all else fails, this is your last resort.
This process will erase all your data, INCLUDING potentially your /sdcard partition (phone storage). But hey, beats having a dead phone, right?
First, ensure you have enough battery (more than 30%) to run an RUU.
Next, boot your phone into fastboot bootloader and open a command prompt window on your computer in the platform-tools folder.
Use the command:
fastboot getvar version-main
You now need to find the RUU that corresponds to this version. Start here. If you have problems visit #htc-one-x on freenode.
Now you must re-lock the bootloader using:
fastboot oem lock
It won't hurt to use the clear cache command as well
fastboot erase cache
Finally, run the RUU.exe that you have downloaded (must be used in Windows, and requires HTC drivers, which will have been installed whilst using HTCDev to unlock your phone).
This will write the /recovery, /boot, and /system to stock. You will need to start from scratch to unlock.

when i type getvar version-main i get: 1.28.061.9 but i can't find the rom anywhere on the internet.
can somebody help me to get a RUU that works on my phone? or a guide so i can run another RUU that will work.
[sorry for my english, not my native language]
Even if you run RUU, HTC will still be able to see that your bootloader has been unlocked.
Relocking your bootloader using fastboot oem lock will only relock it, not undone the original unlock.

Yes, but this is a hardware issue, that has nothing to do with the ROMs and stuf.. I believe you can claim warranty. If not, fight with them, as this SHOULD be covered, as its not covered under warranty.
If you cant find the RUU, ask awesome devs like mike1986 for help, he might be able to help.

HTC will honor any hardware issues providing you take the following steps prior to sending it back.
1: Relock your bootloader (fastboot oem lock)
2: Run the Orange UK RUU (http://www.filefactory.com/file/qwm...Radio_1.1204.103.14_release_256475_signed.exe)
3: When booking in the device for repair don't mention that you have unlocked. Let them figure it out for themselves and if they have an issue with it they will contact you.
ive tried the uk RUU but is was a different 1.26 version. after a few hours trying i got it worked by extracting the ruu and manually flash system.img and boot_signed.img from the quide of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25080910&postcount=1
tomorrow it will be send to HTC but i didnt mention the unlocked bootloader. my opinion is also that is is a hardware issue that was recognized by HTC.. hoping that the reapir company wont take a good look.
i send my phone for repair because right top corner was creaking when i pressed it. and i have custom rom on it. so i relocked bootloader, flashed original ruu and send it for repair. aftera freaking ONE MONTH of waiting i got my phone, they replace bazel(as I understood it was all back, phone corpus). on the warranty card they wrote, "bootloader unlocked, only mechanical issues can be repaired under warranty." So I think that all of us who have any problem with HARDWARE should send phone and get what they worth for such many $. Am I right? But this is not the end. After 4days(it's today) I saw that frame which is around the glass, from the right side is broken, and left side where is usb charging is creaking when i press it. So tomorrow my phone is going back for repair. And from 1.5 month I used it only 14days, i think this phone is not lucky. But i will fight till i get phone what i payed for.
ps. sorry for my english.
Well you don't exactly have software problems so relocking should not br an ossue as stated

recently i tried to unlock the bootloader my htc desire hd by htcdev.com method.. at first when they asked me to check for updated ruu ,i saw that mine wasn't in the list, infact mine was more updated as i saw in the vodafone uk sector.
'the enlisted one was 3.13.161.3 n mine is 3.13.161.5' according to their say.. i skipped that as mine was latest regrading that one in the list..
everything went okay ..but when i tried to unlock the bootloader in fastboot by flashing the unlocktoken.. it's stuck with just showing "sending unlock token...blah blah' ..thats it! i waited for long, but nothing else comes up!!
now ,what should i do to complete te bootloader unlocking? or should i update ruu ? which one should i select then? vodaone uk one or Asia/india one ? (bangladesh is beside of india as well as it's in asia continent)..

Want to do it easiest way? Have to go with Chinese way then.
Go to www.mgyun.com download first thing you see with computer sign and v3.4.8 current. Once done with downloading,Install it in your pc,Connect your device and Open program and try to search for an icon look like "LOCK sign" somewhere under setting sign. Click on lock icon will prompt something in your device related to unlock bootloader. Press Vol. Up or Down to choose and Power button to select. It will wipe your entire device. But after that you'll have ***UNLOCKED*** bootloader.
Skip htcdev traditional old method. Chinese method does the same with everything in that program.,so that not have to have any sort of registration to get unlock_code.bin or any sort of trouble. This is easiest way you could ever find to unlock your device bootloader.
Rest is up to you.
Thanks.
solved!!!
finally i was able to unlock my bootloader with the unlocktoken in fastboot ..gyzz
wat i did this time is, i opened multiple command propmpt n stated the command multiple times altogether, the first one stayed stuck as i said..but the later one did the job foh me! :v tnx gyz for ur valuable suggestions those i would refer to upcoming stupid noobs like me !
hit thanks if im a noob!!!

If you bought it new, with bootloader unlocked ( usually comes together with S-OFF), I suggest not relocking the bootloader. those devices are modded; so they won't act like normally unlocked phones.
to restart, connect to cpmputer and type "fastboot reboot-bootloader"

I did this but the phone doesnt turn on. When restart after re-lockiing the bootloader it directly enters to bootloader..I bougt it new but S-ON. The phone is Chinese and the carrier did this i think because some chinise programs on the device. I think I need stock rom zip and upgrade from bootloader but i could find it any where. I did this to my m8 and worked perfectly.

HTC M9 won't boot after update - can't flash anything, factory reset or unlock bl..?!

Hey guys
got a HTC M9 with cid "O2___102" which won't boot up after stock update.
Phone was not modified yet.
1. Can't unlock bootloader (says: "(bootloader) [KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0X00, disable unlock") - so no way to install custom recovery + custom rom to revive
2. Can't boot into recovery (shows phone with a red exclamation mark but no menu) so no way to factory rest
3. can't find a matching RUU for the "O2___102" CID ...
PLEASE HELP =(
At the screen with the red triangle and exclamation mark, press and hold the power button. While holding the power button, quickly press and release the volume + button. If this gets you to recovery, try a factory reset.

The UK ones for O2 can be used with the German O2 CID, too. You can find them for example in my Collection of Back-to-Stock Files or on androidRUU. But I'm not sure whether a downgrade from android 5.1 is possible with S-ON. The only confirmed downgrades with S-ON were from 1.32.XXX.15 to 1.32.XXX.8. And from my experiences with Denis Meissner and Amr Nasser I would say that a downgrade isn't possible with S-ON if the first and/or the second number of the actual firmware version differ from the ones of the firmware you want to downgrade to.

Yeah, would have suprised me if it worked. As said before even downgrading from 1.40.XXX.X to 1.32.XXX.X seems to be impossible with S-ON. How long did you actually wait until you thought that you phone doesn't boot? The update to android 5.1 and the first boot took around an hour for me. Maybe you just need to wait a little longer. If your phone was unlocked I would suggest you to flash TWRP and use one of my stock backups but...
The only other option I can see right now is trying to find someone who has a java card. With S-OFF you should be able to downgrade with the RUU. (If I remember correctly there were one or two shops advertising their java card services on Android-Hilfe.) This option may not be for free but it should still be cheaper than sending your phone to HTC's repair service or buying a new phone.

whats that java card you're talkin about? Never heard of that.
An appropiate RUU with the latest version should theoretically also work, right?
Problem ist that I cant flash anything custom because bootloader locked and I cant get inside the system to enable the bootloader unlock... =( and the thing has a visually broken volume up key for dropping down, so the htc support won't fix it (for free) I fear.. otherwise I would just give it to them since it has not been modified yet. (not my phone ..)
P.S:
OS Version is 2.10.206.2 - thats the latest one right?

Yes, 2.10.206.2 is the latest version for now. If there were a RUU with your firmware version then using it would be the easiest way to solve your problems. But as far as I know the only existing ones for O2 are for 1.32.206.6 and 1.32.206.15. But with S-OFF you would be able to use the older RUUs, too.
I never used a java card so my knowledge about this topic isn't that outstanding. I know that it is a small, SIM-Card-like looking thing that allows you to S-OFF your phone. Usually they cost several hundred euros/dollars and the number of times you can use them is limited. Since verizon blocks bootloader unlocking these cards are the only option if a verizon users wants to flash anything on his/her phone. Some German phone shops offered S-OFF by java card, too, before sunshine got updated for the M9. That's why I gave you the link to Android-Hilfe. (And that's actually all I know about that topic.)
i need this rru please any one have to uplode link
thanks
Just as an update, I recently bricked this phone trying to flash lineage to it. To fix it, I went to HTC.com and downloaded the current RUU and put the phone into download mode. I know some people say you don't need to "relock" the device, but I don't get errors during the installation with RUU when relocked. Plus, I am running with S-on.
