Thanks for the heads-up on this. I qualified and got the At Bat 13 on my GNex just fine. Now I'd like to watch on my Nexus 7 (WiFi only). I downloaded the app, but it just won't authorize me, no matter what I try. Any ideas on how to get it to fly? TIA.

Can you try doing the activation using the wifi tethering? Doubt it will work but you need a tmo connection the first time through.

Can you not watch games still unless you're a premium subscriber?
-Sent from Marino's Note II-

You have to pay extra for all the games and if I remember right it was something ridiculous. But I know you do get one game of the day to watch for free.

So what's the point of paying for this app if you gotta pay for the games? Kind of a rip off if you ask me

It let's you listen to all the games and it gives you one free game of the day to watch. But I'm like you, I guess that's why they gave it away, at least on Tmobile.

Crigslist app is gone from the market

I couldn't Find it to download it but I had it on my xoom still here's a link to the apk. It works on my epic 4g rooted. I was shocked and horrified that it was taken down.

The one I posted allows you to save the searches and lets you know when something new has been published. it isn't the one by darkierawr linked which isnt as good.
I have had this app for a almost 2 years now.. this is the best craigslist app hands down.. I wish it was still on the market.
I set this app up, so that everytime a new job in the I.T field was posted in my area, it sent me a notification..
I have my resume and cover letter on my phone.. so I would email it to them within 5 minutes of them posting it.
That is exactly what I do with mine phone and Craigslist app. My last 4 jobs I got because of this app.
I was always one of the first 4 or 5 people to apply
The winning factor in getting a job now a days.
Keep resume as PDF, quick email.. Winning
Can apply for a job while at the Ball Game with ease (done it)
I don;t get it, I have Craigslist mobile on my Epic and I still see all of them on the market.

What are you buying with your $25 Play Store credit?

So we all have $25 to blow on Play store stuff. Being a long time Android user, I have most of the stuff I need. I'll probably buy Root Explorer, as my copy I have as an APK just for pushing to other devices.
But lets have fun. What are you guys buying with it?
I've been eyeballing Final Fantasy 3 for $16 but I don't know if I want to buy that game again. I also saw the new Batman game by Gameloft. Looks pretty cool but Gameloft always has .99¢ sales where I pick up my copies. I'm so undecided.

Not using the $25 credit, since you need a credit card. =\

Guys,anyone using NFC around europe?
What are the services accepting our GNEX?
I hope to start a useful collection thread.
Well, at least in Germany and as far as I know there are no payment services available.

I think you can use NFC to get Train Tickets. At least i always see these "put-your-phone-here-to-get-tickets-thingys" at the Stations.
Never used it though.
Did anybody have a look at McDonald's?
I think I saw some wireless counters...

QR-code based. And you need to have an account on bahn.de, with credit card information stored.
(bahn.de (German))
QR is on your phone but to get the Ticket you use NFC

Didn't knew that. I'll definitely have to try that sometime.
You have to have an account though and ad your adress and paying method and all that. I always pay cash for tickets so i don't use it.
Basically you have to use the touchpoint on the trainstation where you start and finish and it generates the prize i guess. Ticket Inspectors scan the QR code on your phone to check the ticket.
Problem is when your battery runs out you are out of luck.

They're about 5 years too late..
Of every friend I currently talk too, or have talked too in the past, all except for one has moved from a BB to another device. Literally, one person I know uses a Blackberry, the Z10. Even the people I no longer associate with who have low income or no job have low end Android or refurbished/hand-me-down iPhones.
I used to work for a company that did cloud based e-mail exchange hosts and other email related services (sharepoint, office 365, etc) and at that time, 4 years ago, more support tickets were submitted based on "what Android phone would you recommend for our company to mass-purchase?". Occasionally it was iPhone switchers, but seemingly almost everyone wanted to get away from their ancient BB's..
Don't think so. Read the update...

I think most people use it due to the fact they can't shell out lots of cash to have a plan that allows unlimited texting. I know for one the prices of our cell bills is just way to much. If I want to text down to the states that's just more added onto my bill. Only reason I don't any other app is I simply don't trust them or have not been running as long as BBM.

agree, so since people already get used to whats up, the chance of bbm on android will be low.

Asus stated at CES sometime in March of this year... They didn't state where or when exactly, but global roll-out often takes a few additional months (or longer) to pass all through all regulatory, distribution, and other legal issues.
I heard it might go on sale here in South Africa (probably a few other places too) 9th March. So tomorrow, fingers crossed!
eBay has it http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-Zenfon...-5in-13MP-ZE550ML-2GB-RAM-Black-/171715609309
So yes you can buy it now. Although don't expect delivery until the end of the month or early next month.
However, you will be paying near on $100 premium to get it so early. Patience is a virtue.............
Oh, and it will probably only have LTE bands 3, 8, and 28 activated.

And with that said, it's safe to say that's the reason it's called the ->Zen<-fone as it challenges one's inner peace, hehe.
Just wait 2 more weeks. I rather buy it officially from Asus them self instead of greedy seller's.

I'd like to be able to buy from a local ASUS outlet too, but you got to think twice when they'll mark up the price just because they think we can all afford whatever they charge for it. Here in Australia I'm expecting the Zenphone 2 to be retailing for double the prices we're seeing in Taiwan. And even then it won't likely have all the Australian LTE network bands enabled.
