Asus stated at CES sometime in March of this year... They didn't state where or when exactly, but global roll-out often takes a few additional months (or longer) to pass all through all regulatory, distribution, and other legal issues.
I heard it might go on sale here in South Africa (probably a few other places too) 9th March. So tomorrow, fingers crossed!

So yes you can buy it now. Although don't expect delivery until the end of the month or early next month.

And with that said, it's safe to say that's the reason it's called the ->Zen<-fone as it challenges one's inner peace, hehe.

I'd like to be able to buy from a local ASUS outlet too, but you got to think twice when they'll mark up the price just because they think we can all afford whatever they charge for it. Here in Australia I'm expecting the Zenphone 2 to be retailing for double the prices we're seeing in Taiwan. And even then it won't likely have all the Australian LTE network bands enabled.

You need to be a registered prepaid user. Unregistered/new users will always have the plan services shoved to them.
I'm on pre-paid already - $30/mo 5GB and registered. I want to order the phone and pay full price for it yet the system can't complete my order.
I'm getting the same thing now. I don't realize I wasn't signed in lol. But still getting error.

Hello all, have you preordered your Verizon HTC One yet? I did for in store pickup at a local corporate VZW store. It was about $649.49 with taxes, but $599 without tax. I had this phone on Sprint for about two weeks back in April, but coverage was so bad that I had to come back to Big Red (VZW). I'd missed the HTC One since then, so of course I was waiting for verizon to update the site at midnight .
If you preordered, ordered, or got your HTC One through in store pickup then post here!

Its actually live on Verizons website as of about half hour ago. You can order them now, pay online, and pickup in stores. Even shows you which stores near you have them in stock
I was going to, but I need it asap when the store opens, and via my live chat wit a service person, the order will be ready an hour after store opening.
I placed online order for store pickup and got confirmation already. I did not get charged tax in my final order confirmation page. It was not mentioned in the email confirmation either. I am in California. Anyone else has similar experience?

I saw this on g+ this A.M..I read its supposed to start this month on the 20th i believe. . And every 12 months you would be eligible for an upgrade ..So if this is tru i will be eligible for my upgrade at the end of October. ..
I don't c the value we still pay high premium for a phone that we don't get to keep and then get asked to go ahead and start a new payment on another phone that u can't wind up keeping ...unless u cancel but that a whole other can of worms ...

My question is if I put $200 down does it lower the monthly cost. And if I just buy my phone outright, can I still take advantage of cheaper plans.
Here is the pricing, looks competitive based on the other carriers.
Giving the phone back is only mildly annoying. I don't know about the rest of you but I have a drawer that is a retired phone graveyard. Just taking up space.
I'm sure some phones maintain their value for a while but getting your money back when selling it seems like a bit of a gamble and just plan irritating. Listing it on swappa or craigslist, dealing with people, negotiating a price. More work than I am interested in.

Mine shipped on Sunday (Verizon) however, upon closer inspection of the FedEX tracking I was provided, i noticed that it was as a delayed delivery date. My receipt date still shows 8/19 :/

There is tons of review now and no one is trashing the phone. Personaly it's S7E on steroids... And when you by it with a contract it's not so big of a difference at my country... just 50 EUR

B) It's amazing. Granted, my fastest phone previously was an HTC One Max, but this is just a massive upgrade in every way. I'm still going through the nitty gritty of setting it up, but I'm mainly done, and it's just... fluid.

Power saving modes? Yes, it's right there in Quick Settings.

Delivery by the 14th apparently. No idea what day they will actually ship.
Update.... according to Samsung customer service, I'll have the new device in hand by March 14th. This is for a pre-ordered unlocked version (US version) directly from Samsung.
