-My phone USB to PC connection was not detected even though I’ve installed usb driver and while in download mode Odin can detect it.
I flashed perseus kernel but stilll nothing.
I can send sms and call, wifi is working but I want a fully functional phone.
I really don't know what to do. Please help me!

[Q] Odin doesn't really recognize my Note2

Hello everyone,
I just decided to root my phone and found guides for doing so (and I'm very thankful for those!).
My problem is, that Odin won't recognize my phone, if i connect it after odin is already started
However, if i have my phone in download mode, connect it to my computer and THEN open odin it's recognized just fine.
Any ideas what could cause the problem? And is it even a problem or can i just proceed?
Its the same if i try to connect when not in download mode, odin will only recognize my phone, if i have it connected before odin is started
I have a Note 2 (N7100) on Android 4.1.2
Thanks a lot!
No problems this way.
You can go on with further process.
Try to reinstall correct USB drivers
I just proceeded anyways, meaning connecting the phone in download mode to the PC and then opening odin and it all worked out
thank you for the help!

[Q] Think I've bricked it.

Hi, I installed Cyanogen without a problem however the USB connection did not work as well as some other things so I found the Note 2 stock ROM and went to try flash that.
However the USB connection not working seems to still be a problem as the ROM doesn't flash (failed) and isn't recognized by Kies if I try to do an emergency firmware recovery.
Help guys! I'm stuck at the either "downloading" screen when I turn my phone on to load the ROM or either "there was a firmware error", I cannot load my phone past that, arrrrgh!
looks like it is a driver issue . You can try installing the drivers manually or with a different pc which previously recognized Note 2 ..
Go to downloading mode and let the usb drivers install from online or windows update .. or try connecting a different Note 2 and check if your PC recognizes Note 2

Click to collapse
Use a different USB cable and a different USB port, and (if that doesn't work) a different PC.
You're not bricked, there's the good news.

i9195 LTE strange brick :/

As the title said, idk what happend so my s4 mini, i will explain you what it happened.
i went to school normaly as every day, with the airplane mode and energy saving on. I went back home and then I turned them off and the google play services stoped, then snapchat, whatsapp and everything else. I couldnt use any app, so i restart my phone, it turned off but it didn't turn on anymore. now the problem is that i can't turn my phone on and I didn't do anything. so i read that maybe flashing a new .pit or the stock rom again, so i connnected my device via usb (only download mode works) and odin detects it, i putted the stock rom + the .pit but when odin starts, it stucks at SetupConnection or Initialization.
I tried with another usb port, cable and with another pc but the problem still there.
Please help :crying:
What windows were you using? And did you disable anti virus when using Odin?

Can't install rom on LG G3 6.0 Mashmellow

Hi everyone! First i'd like to apologize for any english mistakes, since i'm brazillian! Here's the thing... Recently, i`ve updated my LG G3 with a 6.0 Marshmallow rom (from lg-roms website), and after some tests, i've decided to go back to 5.0 Lollipop. But here's the problem: when i tried to load the new room via lg flash tool, i get some errors, saying that my phone is not connected (just when i'm in the download mode). When i try to flash with the phone on, the lg flash tool recognizes him, begins the installation and reboots the fone to the download mode, but when the download mode initializes, the software shows the same message (that he is not connected). Also, i`ve tried to root the phone with kingroot (a bunch of versions) and i never get succesful. Can anyone help me with a solution so i can go back to 5.0?
Thank you gustavorossy for your post,
Same problem here. In addition, to make the phone recognize the pluged usb, I have to :
1- turn it off
2- plug the usb cable
3- turn it on with the cable pluged
Otherwise, if I turn it on without the cable pluged, or if it reboots during utilization, the phone don't detect the charger nor the PC or any other connection, till I follow the steps above. So it makes it impossible to go stock for exemple.
Except it, everything is working well and I tried to install various custom ROMs none of them fixed the problem.
Thanks a lot for any help.
