Does anyone know of the optimum undervolt parameters for the htc one v for best battery life?
You have to try them by yourself because the hardware may be different. If you check in general thread there's a battery life topic, there you can find some under volt settings by icebox, I think they could work

I want to get better battery life out of my phone and am curious what people are using for their voltage table without getting problems. Anyone care to post theirs? I'd like to go as low as possible without actually making the battery life worse or cause crashes.
I wise man once told me, each GS3 differs in terms of what voltages get good battery life. Some devices can only go so low before freezing and rebooting. No one will be able to tell you exact voltages, but you can start by going to the KT747 Thread in the OG Development section. There is a post that gives you some voltages to start around/at. Also, you may want to look into I/O schedulers and Governors as those also play a large role in your device's battery.
Hey look what I found lol

KT747 KTweaker: share and discuss your setting
I'm currently on TeamNVDRU CM10 Nightly from the 1st. Battery is at 34% after 9 hrs off charge and 1hr 6min screen on time.
I have tried all underclock, undervolt, battery life tips i can find and the best i can get is about 14hrs on this rom.
I even asked HTC for the price to install the 2100mAH battery in the phone... they came back with $160 which for a 15% boost isn't worth it.
Therefore I am asking the community, which is the best rom for battery life? Sense roms and stock included.
I'm also wondering if there is an app that can collect battery life stats and post them to the web, sort of like antutu but for battery instead of 3d performance. Does such a thing exist? It would be useful for this phone.
My usage profile:
Listening to music ~45 mins each way from work
Gmail push for priority inbox
Microsoft Exchange sync once a day while on charger
Talkbox for communicating with workmates
Viber for texting/calling my girlfriend
Facebook push disabled, notifications disabled
Underclock to 1200, Undervolt -125
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Its well known that AOSP roms' battery is generally lower than sense roms...so if u want a proper battery life...try one of the sense roms...hasnt disappointed me...nearly same set of requirements for me and it has not failed..!! I am using AHRD which is quite good..also try ViperX roms...read a lot about it being real good..!! but havent had the time to try it out myself..!! but generally ARHD or ViperX can help u with ur usage...give them a try and try for like ~1week b4 u come to a conclusion...What i do is to wipe out battery stats when i install a new rom so that the battery is calibrated with the new rom..!!
Hope it helps..!!

I know people still do it but wiping batt stats its pointless. It's been proven it has zero effect

use Blade rom with no-frils app and set cpu to 860 , lasts for one and a half day with regular usage ......
Honestly ?? Stock rom got best battery life. I used Renovate and ARHD, they don't reach even a half of stock lifetime.
I am on TripNDroids releases now for a time (since 017 I guess) and I must say, the battery life is fair. I use my phone often for WhatsApp and surfing/playing around and one battery charge lasts for one day. Although I have set the screen brightness almost to the minimum.
I've tried a few ROMs, but it's the kernels that are making the difference for me, i'd try viperx with faux ultimate kernel if you want good battery life.
And do try repacking the kernel boot.img with the one from the ROM using the repacking tool on the dev section.
I'm wondering if anybody can help me with this!
I have a HTC Desire HD smartphone, I haven't had it long but I've noticed a significant drain in my battery life! I have tried a certain app on the Play Store to Calibrate my Battery but I don't think that's worked very well! I don't want to flash any custom rom's or anything like that I just want help with how to get a good battery life! My battery lasts about 8 hours with not much use, and I've tried battery saver's but they're not much good! I don't think I need to buy a new battery but if I need to then I will but if I can help it then I won't! I know this is off the topic but I have a HTC Buzz: Wildfire too and I rooted and flashed CyanogenMod 7 on it too and the battery life was crap on that but I don't need help with that phone mode it's just the HTC Desire HD I need help with, so yeah can anybody help me with this problem? It would be great if you could!:good: :highfive:
Yours Sincerely,
Kieran James Luckman
Read up on the Better Battery Stats app and figure out if anything is causing wakelocks.
Well, if you are on stock rom 2.3.5 then it could be a hardware problem but first try a new battery!!
install a app called "current widget" from playstore
and check how much mAh you are getting, If more than 800+ means charger is Good...
and secondly u can giv a try to custom kernels, there are many out there with a better battery life and battery saving governor like smartass v2 etc

Hey XDA,
I am experiencing fairly poor Battery performance while using the HTC. I am currently running CM 11. Majority of the time I have to turn off mobile data, because that's the main contributor. Otherwise games heavily affect the battery and also makes my phone incredibly hot. I normally keep my cpu governor on interactive, but when playing music, I need to set it to performance as the music kicks otherwise. Is it the custom rom? Is there anything I can do? Or is that merely how the HTC One X rolls?
Thanks
James

AOSP ROM usually less battery friendly when being compared to SENSE ROMs, but when it comes to games , most of games I have tried on my device isn't battery friendly at all ,
There are couple of threads here at HOX forums may help you of with tips and tricks to improve your experience
Check this , it was a great help for mehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2156311 [URL]

Why does every kernel here not have voltage support?? I like to tune my voltages to improve battery life. The 6p has an 820 and it has voltage controls. Why can't we? Especially with elite kernel and elementalX two of the best kernels and neither have voltage controls
The Nexus 6p has a SD810.
The sd820 has dynamic Voltage. Undervolting is more complicated with that and not Worth the hassle.
If you search the elemental X Thread for the keyword undervolting you will find a lot of answers.
so what kernel produces the abosolute best batterylife? im on viper without any custom kernel
and is there going to be any extended battery cases>?

For better battery try using a pnp tweak found in ROM section
Do you think there will be anymore development for this phone? As far as Roms go?
