[Q] Is CleanRom compatible with Sprint on GN2? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I never thought ROMs had to be specific to carriers, but the OP and/or dev here goes through the trouble of listing several carriers, so perhaps my assumption there is wrong?
Anyways my question is will I have any issues using this CleanROM on a Sprint Galaxy Note 2 ? If not, why did he list all the other carriers except Sprint?

Have u tried searching in that thread mate?
I guess this post is what ur looking for:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37311106&postcount=3987
You can't use it on a Sprint unless u apply a patch.

Thanks. Probably wouldn't get too much complaint about not searching if I just replied to that thread, but I can't until 10 posts.
edit: I followed the breadcrumbs and they lead no where. That post you linked contains a link to test I guess some experimental hack to make Verizon ROMs work on Sprint phones? Anyways the link doesn't work, try it and let me know what you get. I need some specific help here since my account is crippled at the moment. I need someone to PM the author of the post linked above and let him know his link isn't working and ask for a link to whatever is needed to run CleanROM on the Sprint GN2.

Post Limit for Experienced Developer

Hi, great forums and flashed a few ROMS now from the great cooks on the site.
I have one small gripe however, i am a software engineer and interested in Android apps specifically integration with mono and WCF web services. I couldnt find anything on the site so i went to post - but couldnt becuase of post limit.
I understand the need for it to filter out less sensible question, or at least make people search before they write, but very frustrating in other cases.
Just my 5 pence worth.
Cheers,
Chris
If you feel you should be exempted from this rule, post your development in a general section and Private Message a Moderator and ask them to move it to the development section. If your work fits the bill we will be more than happy to help you out.

His join date is December 2010. He should be exempted from the rule anyway. Only users who joined this year should be affected by the ten posts rule. I'm sure someone could fix his account for him.
Awesome! Welcome to the XDA!
Only 2 more posts and I can't post as well!!

You do have a point. If he is having this issue he should contact the Administrator MikeChannon so he can troubleshoot the issue.

Why would you be asking a question in a development forum? (unless you wanted to ask in a thread that already exists).
Same error

youve been on xda for 6 years, yes 6. you need 10 posts to be able to post in other sections and so on. how the f**k can you not post 10 posts on xda in 6 years? seriously. deal with it, and post a few more. ive been on xda for 7 years. yes, one more year than you, yet i have 34,050 posts. grow up, and become a big boy now.

Hey Guys
I spoke to deadlyCoder over PM and he says that there was a misunderstanding from other devs and they don't want to release it now so he asked the mod to close the thread.
So that's why the thread is closed.
PS: I apologise to theDeadlyCoder for my outrage, I take back everything I said as I was angry, no hard feelings I hope?
Cheers

You guys might get a surprise by the end of the week, who knows
Please don't pm dev about it, just be patient!
OFF TOPIC:
NOTE TO EVERYONE (and myself): Guys lets respect one another and not discourage others and be horrible about it, how would you feel if that was you on the receiving end? I know some people have been horrible to Ronnie but what good does that do? Why do that???
Anyway I will try to keep the forum and other peoples feelings happy at least from my side. If you do make a mistake, it doesn't cost anything to say "Sorry"

LG8 Links are down?

As a new member, I guess I can't post in the dev forums. As stated in post #491 of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1743923 , I think the links are down for the rooted de/odexed versions of the LG8 update. Since this is a Q & A forum I guess I need to break out my old Jeopardy skills and put this in the form of a question...
The links are down?
P.S. Wouldn't have posted if there was more than one complaint about this issue. Just trying to draw attention to the fact that it's not an isolated user having the issue.
P.P.S. 9 posts to go until I can post something like this in the appropriate spot?

Apperently mike1986 “forgot” to give credits to football in the 1st post. Therefore he has received a 3 day ban.
That happened on 27th November at 17.10h. If the ARHD thread will ever get reopened, is not clear.
Personally I think it’s a big mistake to close a thread and punish all ARHD users when the only dispute is with the thread starter. And on a even more personal note I think everybody involved is acting pretty childish… Sad, very sad!
There's another thread about this.... And also a support thread so stop asking what happened to Mike

Hey mate, who made you the XDA "what you can ask questions about" bloke ? I can see your reply in the afore mentioned 1st post - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34746310&postcount=3 , again, who gives you the right, or knowledge, to comment on what someone else deserves ?
When I look in the OP from Mike's thread (and according to many - many posts in the thread, not a lot of people do !), I see that he has recognised
"•Thanks to HTC for the base firmware"
Where does this bullsh%t end ?
Football (and by no means am I having at go at him/her) would have received leaks from someone else. Not credited as far as I can see, or if he/she works for HTC, then the leak is their IP, and Mike's "•Thanks to HTC for the base firmware" holds true, although possibly tongue-in-cheek.
Anyway, I logged in tonight to find out why the ARHD, for my Aussie One X, thread was paused, and you offered no help. To me, that's not in the spirit of Android, or XDA.

10 and read more you'd know that it wouldn't require a whole new thread to make a post such as this lol. Read while you can't make posts and if your bored enough bring back the old posts that you find while searching. In the mean time search that thread you want to post in cause I promise you you'll find what you're looking for.
