[Q] (NOOB MEMBER) Easy to follow root & unrooting procedures required please. - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I would like to root my Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 and after browsing the forums I came across a rooting procedure by Chainfire which looks easy to follow. Before I attempt to root my phone I would also like to have an unrooting procedure to hand should I need to unroot for warranty purposes. I would be most grateful if anyone could post a link to an easy to follow unrooting procedure. Has Chainfire produced one?
Many thanks in advance
Martin.

Flash original firmware works every time. You can also unroot from within the supersu app. Don't forget to triangle away once you've rooted.
In fact if there's one thing I advise, it's to make sure you have a copy of the original firmware saved somewhere before you even begin, just in case you need it. Can save you from many disasters.

[Q] Rooting help neaded for note2

hey guys im new 2 android community... ive a galaxy note 2 GT-N7100 International version bought in India. Recently ive been thinkin 2 root my device for various mods like copyin/ installing games on memory card etc... so i wanna know wat software should i use 2 mod my device?? Also i wanna know if its safe??? Ive heard that rooted devices leads to void of warranty... is that true???
thanks in advance....
You should use the wonderful Note2 ToolKit, found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923956
Yes, rooting it voids your warranty. But you can flash back a stock ROM and unroot if you need to take your phone in for service.
All modifications have risks. Though rooting probably won't break your phone, an user error on your part just might, or malicious code might. You can never know that! You have to be careful and use your best judgment. Rooting is basically like logging in to a computer with an administrator account, you can change all the system settings and as a result you can really screw up your system if you are not careful.
I'm just saying all that to clarify that if you do root your device and mod it, have an accident and screw something up, it's your own fault. You need to always keep that in mind.
When you download the toolkit, the first thing you need to do is:
1) EFS backup
2) Full Nandroid backup
Do those two things first, then do whatever you want. If you have EFS and Nandroid backups you have a safety net in case something goes wrong later on.
Also: read, read, read. Read every single Note II guide and FAQ you can find here on XDA.

Read the second post. The ODIN method is usually the easiest for most people. It is very hard to brick your phone if you follow the instructions. There are YouTube video's available to walk you through the process.

Does the tutorial at that site void my warranty?
Of course warranty will be void when you start messing up with rooting.
Rooting your phone will void your warranty. You can always odin back to stock if anything ever goes wrong keeping your warranty in tact

I suggest you do as the person above you has posted seen as it's his thread and that's the way we learn, if your not comfortable doing it maybe a bit of reading, but Dr. Ketans threads are simple enough to follow

I don't know but why people so lazy to read simple one post.
They always seeking step 1 2 3 and get device rooted. though it is easy to make guide in 2 steps, 1.Download file and 2 flash with odin. But i never do this, i wish people should know what they are doing with device and what is the difference between different method of root. as well what is ill effect and what is needed post root. I can't explain everything in simple steps. They have to read if they really want to care their device otherwise there are many other guides are there, even you never know which recovery you have flashed OR your flash counter is raised and what steps you need to do to return to stock.
But there is no short cut to success, you have to learn if you caring your device and pocket.

Rooting and TWRP Method

Okay so I've been out of this for a good while and am looking to get my Galaxy S6 Edge+ SM-G928P Rooted and TWRP installed with the best method. However after some digging around I am still confused as to what the best method is and what is updated and what is not.
My phones specs are in the screenshot. So if anybody can give a step by step tutorial or anything I'd be seriously thankful. Any help is appreciated! Also I have gone to the general forum that has the rooting files etc I'm just not sure of the methods
