[Q] Keyboard voice to text over bluetooth issue - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hello,
I am having an issue using a bluetooth headset to dictate with my keyboard (currently using Swiftkey). I want the
bluetooth headset microphone to be used for audio input. Under voice search for speech there is a setting to
use bluetooth audio input and this does work fine. However when using the keyboard voice to text it uses the
phone microphone for audio input. Is there a setting somewhere that I can change this? Thanks.

Question about Parrot CK3100 and voice recognition

Running CM6 9-25 nightly with latest radios:
I recently installed vlingo on my evo and successfully managed to remap the h2headset.kl entry for the bt button from headsethook to search in an attempt to get the voice recognition button on the parrot to launch the Vlingo search.
When i do get the voice prompt though i find that the parrot tries to play back whatever music i'm playing via its speakers as a mono bt stream. There is no option in the bluetooth device properties to turn off audio as the parrot isn't an a2dp device and therefore only has the phone profile.
My question is, does CM6, or the stock stack for that matter, automatically try to stream the audio out via bt no matter what the device? I was never able to get audio out to the parrot without using some kind of bt mono out hack.

[Q] Vlingo help

Having a bit of trouble with Vlingo in car mode. When I pair it with my bluetooth interface in my car, the phone function works fine, but the text and tap and speak functions keep waiting for my voice to come through BT (I guess) instead of the phone's microphone, which is how the BT in our VW and our Toyota work. Is there a setting I'm missing or a workaround? Thanks.

BT headset, skype, answering calls on the Tab

After reading the searched posts for hours, I thought I'd post and ask for an update.
Is anyone able to use their bluetooth headset to answer skype calls on their tablet by pushing the button on the headset?
If so, can you please state which headset you're using?
thanks
Messing around with a Voyager Pro+ BT headset, the earpiece transmits sound from skype and my music, but as for microphone, skype still tries to use the tablet mic instead of the headset mic. BTmono seems to solve that problem, but it's still not possible to answer calls with the call button on the headset. When I push it, it hangs up on an incoming call and tries to dial my google voice number and asks me which program I want to use, giving me the option of Skype and data calling. If I choose data, it says "not supported". Anyone know of an app that will let me change the headset button configuration to answer an incoming skype call, instead of the current function, which is to dial my google voice number, for whatever reason?
I have the same problem. Skype works great with BT headsets in Windows but the Android version does not even seem to have an options menu where one can select the sound input and output. Skype still works fine using the Tab microphone and speakers but if you want to have a more private conversation, you will have to plug in a wired headset.
I find it hard to believe that Skype would overlook this feature in Android so maybe there is another reason that BT is not supported.

skype works with my bluetooth headset and galaxy tab - likely your headset needs to conform to some spec (v2.1)

That may be it. The headset is a Samsung model WEP490. Any idea how I find out if this unit is compatible?

Which bt headset are you using, animatechnica?
And you're able to answer calls with the headset button?

You've already been asked twice. Please answer. Which specification do you mean?

[Q] SGH-I927 Bluetooth A2DP not working ?

So I just purchased my second Jabra Wave thinking I had a problem with the first one. I can connect my Captivate Glide with Android 4.0.4 version I927UCLJ3. It pairs and does work with a phone call however, the "A2DP" doesn't seam to work or I cannot find the correct place for settings. I want to stream my audio out to my mono Jabra Wave Bluetooth from music and things like my Pandora. I know both of the Jabra Wave headsets now do support it by using my wifes phone, pairing them and they play audio just fine and they both listed and both Jabra Wave part numbers I have say they support A2DP but no where in the phones menu settings can I find how to send the "music" audio to the bluetooth. I was also hoping the bluetooth mic would be able to be used for my voice to text engine. Has anyone gotten their audio routed to a mono bluetooth and if so, how did you send the audio to it?

[Q] bluetooth mic not working

Hello, I just bought a bluetooth headset that supports both headset and a2dp mods.
I can listen to music fine.
And when i receive a call it switches to headset profile fine..
I can hear the call from earphones but..mic does not work.
I downloaded and tested with an application bluetooth mic tester and it was working fine in this application.
So no hardware problems with it.
What i suspect is, this headset doesnt have any pin code to pair devices..
You just discover the device and pair without any pins..
So, can it be a security issue not to enable microphone on calls?
And if so,
is there a way to change this behaviour, modiying a file etc on audio settings??
Thanks?
