SDM partial wakelock battery drain - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I have searched the forums and every post I came across said to just delete the sdm.apk. But im on jellybomb domination 15.3 and the sdm.apk was not included in this rom. There was a sprintDM.apk not sure if they are the same thing or not but I froze it anyway. In BBS im still seeing SDM partial wakelock which is keeping my phone from going into deepsleep. Does anyone have any idea as to what could be causing this?

Sure can. Try setting it back and try again. Easy to change, install app, then change back the way you like it.

Eliminate Some Screen Wake lag - CR4.7 B6 Base

mikeyxda came up with tweak that eliminates screen wakelag.
I did a lot of research on that and it's not so easy to answer. Generally, I believe battery will be no worse and possibly better. Google location services, alarms, widgets, push mail, and many other processes end up waking up 99% of phones at least once every 3 minutes anyway and the deep-sleep-->awake-->deep sleep cycles actually consume more power than letting the processor(s) stay awake. On my phone for example, Google location services alone woke the phone 20 times/hr (every 3 minutes) and that's with GPS turned off and no navigation or map activities running! Add a weather widget here, a push mail app there, and I found that my phone was bouncing in and out of deep sleep more than a hundred times an hour! Better (on both battery and circuitry) to just idle at that point. With only one CPU awake with screen off, the radio will draw more power than the CPU idling. Most people don't realize that the screen and radio eat orders of magnitude more power than (especially an idling) CPU, so idling one CPU will have little effect on battery. That said, I suppose if you put your phone in airplane mode and maybe froze a bunch of other apps that wake the phone, maybe battery would be worse with the ZeroWakeLag wakelock and the phone would do better in deep sleep. Reality is: we don't use our phones that way.

I am very skeptical about this but going to test it out. Although wake lag has never bothered me. Lol. Can't help the need to flash.

Yeah I'm not seeing to much Wake increase....a tad less better battery life though.
I also tested some builds available in mikeyxda thread getting same results.
No improvement on wake for me at all, but got a terrible drop in battery. Used the revert and all is well again.
Really? Noticeable for me. It wakes up as if I had Pandora playing in the background and woke it up... If you know what I mean... But it does drain the battery a bit quicker...

Shouldn't be long. ..
Devs will strip it down and .zip it.
The device runs nice.
It could just be placebo, but I did gain a bar on reception where I only got 2.
Hmmmm
It's a keeper. ...g
You can try manually setting the date ahead a few days. Settings/date-time. I had to set mine ahead 2 days then it found it.

Clint has anyone packaged this update in a flashable zip yet?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
The update keeps failing at 32% for me. I have the CF Auto Root on. Anyone have thoughts about what would prevent the update from working? Or if there is a link for the full flashable update? I can just throw on another boot loader like TWRP and flash the darn thing.
Thanks.

[Q] [Kernel] B-Team NonSense - AOSP vivow 3.0.xx

Is anyone else having an issue with the B-Team kernel and the proximity sensor? When I flash Evervolv nightlies and make a call, the display goes blank and touch events are ignored as they should be. If I then flash the B-Team kernel and make another call, the screen goes dark, but I can feel the vibration feedback as things happen on the phone when my cheek has contact with the display. Many times the call will hang up or airplane mode will activate or settings will be changed. I've gotten in the habit of holding the phone away from my face while running this kernel. I really like the performance over the occasional lag experienced with the stock Evervolv kernel.
I've been following various threads in here for over a year, but just recently got an account so I could subscribe to threads. This is my first post. Can't post in the B-Team kernel thread yet.
Well I now know I'm not alone on that one. I'm running PAC and yeah I've gone into settings and changed settings while on the phone.. I'm looking into the proximity sensor fixes... The sensor probably needs reconfigured or a lib is missing a permission
I wasent aware of this issue as i don't use my inc2 as a "phone" anymore so its hard for me to run down bugs pertaining to calls but if you can reproduce the problem and grab a log cat of it ill take a look for you guys

Problem is I barely get phone calls. I'll pull one later tonight, make a test call or two... @bsmitty honestly i thought it was me getting fat in the face due to less work for me right now. its a great kernel fo sure though.
