[Q] Phone Gets Stuck When Turning On - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Hello, a weird incident happened today. I have had my phone replaced once, but since getting my phone back I've had little problems. Yesterday whenever I tried to turn on my phone it went through the Samsung logo, but then it went to the Samsung Galaxy S2 logo thingy and the bar filled to about 98% and then the phone froze. So I took out the battery and the phone powered on normally. But today it stopped at about 98% again and it stopped. So I took out the battery and tried to power the phone on but it did the exact same thing. I did this at least 20 times and I tried various things such as blowing, and taking out the SIM card, and charging the phone and then trying to turn it on. But lastly I went on galaxys2root.com and went to the T-Mobile unroot to Jellybean section, downloaded the .zip file for odin and the Jellybean software and I tried to flash the firmware. The process was successful but when I tried to turn on the phone it passed the Samsung logo, then went to the Samsung Galaxy S2 logo, but there was no bar and then the screen went black. How do I fix this?

Have you flashed a custom ROM on the phone? Or did you just root it?

Is your phone running custom recovery and is your phone rooted?
and how did you install the stock rom? odin or recovery?

No, my phone isn't running custom recovery or rooted. I installed JB off Kies.

seems these symptoms are carrying over because JMT rom is based on your rom
what apps are you running? and did you restore your apps?

After a long while I was able to fix it. I just downloaded the ROMs off of the galaxys2root.com website, and I eventually fixed the problem.

[Q] stuck on samsung loading screen after ics update through kies..

hi guys,
did something pretty dumb..hope my phone isn't bricked.
i was running mr x's rooted stock telus rom for the sgh-989d.
today, i fired up kies and attempted to update to ICS through it. everything seemed to be working until the phone rebooted. now i'm stuck at the samsung galaxy sIIx loading screen. the animation is playing, but it's been loading for about 30 minutes now.
i'm wondering whether or not i should remove the battery, and if so, what would be the best steps to take after that. thx in advance for any help offered.
Just pull the battery and flash MR X's ROM

Try pullig battery. After rebooting if it is stuck again at the Samsung screen, download TMO ICS zip and flash through ODIN.

Help with brick

I was trying to flash my phone (AT&T SGS3) back to stock today using this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739426
While I was downloading, I accidentally kicked the usb cable out of the phone.
I immediately pulled the battery and restarted the process.
Odin said it succeeded but when I boot I get stuck on a screen where it just says samsung. Like the first screen you see on boot but it happens a second time after the galaxy s logo and the at&t logo.
I don't know how to fix this. Can someone please help?
Also I was going to try the not rooted stock roms from this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737848
But the downloads don't seem to be working. Anyone know where I can download the stock roms?

Maybe try going into recovery mode and do a factory wipe there.
That worked. Thank you, you just saved me in a big way
Glad it worked. Happened to me too. From what I learned when changing ROM types tw-> aosp you need to wipe data.

Odin back to 4.2 (Not 4.3 becuase of knox stuff). Use this thread for help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2258628&highlight=stock
Then flash your rom back. Or flash a specific 4.4 rom do not try to OTA.

[Q] Help: Samsung i927 crashes on boot.

Hello.
First off all, my i've had this phone for about 4 months. I bought it and inmediately updated from 2.3 to 4.0.4 and then installed Cyanogenmod 4.3 and it worked just perfect. But, two days ago it started to crashing in a weird way so i had to remove the battery and put it on again for the phone to work. But now, the phone just won't start. It crashes it cyanogenmod logo and just stucks there for ever or simply re-starts and then again, freezes in cyanogenmod. It started a couple of times by just removing the battery and turned on again, but now it got worse. Now the just doesn't start never, just get stuck in the CM logo.
I triyed wipping /cache /system /data /dalvik everything but it did not worked. Next, i triyed installing stock 4.0.4 rom and the phone started (YAY!) but, after installing my apps and sync-ing my accounts i rebooted my phone and, then again, it crashed on the start up again. I've try a lot of things and no one seems to work. It just get stuck in the logo after SAMSUNG.
Help.

I did not install anything before the issue.
But, like two weeks ago i installed: Clean Master (Without root permissions) and Go launcher Theme.
I am being honest, i did not do anything for this to happen. Then again, i repeat to you my problem: My phones crashes in the logo after samsung. It started two days ago, crashing while using my phone. Then it started to crash in the booting. I wiped and nothing happened. I Installed Stock rom deoxed and it started but just lasted the first boot. Then, when i restarted the phone, it would crash in the booting again. Now, i flashed the PURE STOCK ROM 4.0.4 and it have not passed trought the "Think possible" logo
Try flashing the basic stock firmware from Samsung using Odin... Then re-root and check

try to remove battery and wait at least 4 minutes, and put back.
It helped on my old phone.

I removed all night and still nothing. At the begining of the issue removing the battery helped, but now it seems like it got worse.

I did it in the morning. It flashed correctly and when the ODIN re-booted my phone it crashed in the logo, like i have not done anything. I have been triying to turn it on for like 4 hours and nothing.

[Q] Bizzare Softbrick

I am happy to be a brand new member of XDA
I am also a noob:/ I have been on this website for a while now and have found nothing for my problem with my SGH-I317 Galaxy Note 2...
My Problem- I installed CWM custom recovery it wokred fine I installed CM 10 (that was a week ago). yestarday I went to turn on my phone when i woke up. It showed the "Samsung Galaxy Note II" and then went CRAZY the logo spazzed and then just turned black. I immediatly went into odin and flashed my only stock rom the SGH-I317 android 4.1.1 because I could only access the download mode. I went to go and do an OTA update to 4.3 (I think I messed up right here). It went fine up until it restarted and and froze on the Galaxy Note 2 logo. I can still access Download mode but I cant get into either stock recovery or the custom recovery mode. I have tried flashing three different stock roms and Odin says it passed but it just reboots and stays on that logo. Please help I am not in the position to buy or replace a new phone (I'm only 14).
