Hey, i deleted some system apps, which i will never need again.
First you need Titanium Backup. You find it in the Market.
So you´re able to save your apps and then unistall it. But dont uninstall everything...some apps are very important!
I only uninstalled apps, which are not to use on the flipout but uses disk space.
Files you can delete:
ESMusica
HipHopOfficial
Kodak Perfect Touch
QuickOffice (i have QuickOffice Pro installed)
RevolverTV
SIM Toolkit 2.1 update 1
TrueCountry 2.0.0012
Youtube (i replaced it with the android2.3 youtube)
There are a lot more apps to delete but some apps need a similar app to replace e.g. blur launcher...the phone won´t start if there is no similar launcher added before..

you have to rename it in youtube.apk!

1. download the apk
2. delete old youtube.apk from /system/app/youtube.apk with root explorer
3. restart the phone
4. uninstall com.google.android.youtube (it appears after the restart in your settings - manage apps...
5. move the new youtube.apk to the system/app folder
6. install it!
maybe you have to restart..dont know!
Having problems with your youtube app.
To make the vid start i have to click on HQ as soon as the vid opens otherwise it returns 'sorry can't play...'.

weatherwidget
blur-services [very uncertain about this, is this system necessary ?]
blurcontactssync [very uncertain about this too]
do you think it's safe removing them ?
One more question: I made a backup of previously removed apps but apks only, not the odex files. If I try putting the apk back to /system/app the app works again although I read that odexed apps usually need both apk and odex to start again.

i dont have the problems with the youtube.apk like you! do you have uninstalled the com.google.android.youtube after restart?
maybe you have to set the permissions in root explorer to
"rw-r--r--"

re. apps to remove, I installed deblurred rom as per guide:
PROS: no odex files, no blur account app
CONS: an older gmail app version (as far as I remember I could install apk via gmail with blurred Italian rom, now I can't but not sure about this)

Hey, i reinstall the system on my flipout and have sometimes the same problem with this youtube app "can´t play" but the 200kb file which you prefer is only eclair version! or do i have to install both?
Hi great Community!
Today i got a fix for the G+ app force close in instand upload.
Credits: To LegendK95 for the modded app!
The Problem:
When you go in Google+ settings and try to open Instand Upload, the app will Force Close.
The solution:
1. Download the modded apk file to your phone. Link: http://db.tt/Ur1uFS18
2. Go to Settings -> Application Manager
3. Look in Downloaded tab for Google+
4. Click on it and choose uninstall updates
5. Now move the attached file to root path/system/app with root explorer or similar app
6. Paste it and overwrite the one who´s in there
7. Set permission to rw-r-r and reboot.
8. Sidenote: Don't update the app! Or it will force close again!
You´re done and instand upload should work perfect.
Edit: It seems Google has fix the issue. It works with the newest update on omega 39.
hi at first my SGG has mymobileTv apk (my services), i can easily watch 100+ indian channels in it.
but after upgrade i lost the apk and again installed it from backup but i cant open the app and no shortcut found on menu. can anybody check it.

You will have to enable Unknown Sources under settings to install the apk from a file manager
Anyways, here is the apk of myservices from 4.1.2 View attachment MyServices.apk. myMobile TV can be downloaded from inside it

Hello guys,
This is my first themes Music Player app. I have made the buttons a little more simple looking some light additions to the theme.
Tested Samsung Galaxy GT-i9100.
Tested on Jelly Snap 4.3.3 v.7 ROM.
I dont know if this can be used on other models or not, if someone could give any info about it?

Details / Requirements:
Type: System App
1. Phone must be rooted.
2. Any root explorer will be required to push app to "/system/app" folder, or you can use adb if you know about it.
3. "app" folder must be on "777" permission to be able to push file.
How to install:
1. Stop "Music Player" service/process from settings > applications > all.
2. Goto "system/app" folder using root browser and delete "MusicPlayer.apk".
3. Copy downloaded apk file to sdcard root.
4. using root browser or adb, push the file to "/system/app" folder.
5. Changle the file permissions to "777"
6. Press apk file and tap "install".
---------------------------------
You may require to reboot the phone after deleting original apk and after installing themed apk file.

Yeah i did hear about your phone and development is stopped. .. May i know which model is it. . I'm also a mobile repairing guy and always in market and can get my hands on any part you require on trade price. ... Well in your case i think i can send you one. . Auto APK Signer
Hey guys, i just created a small .bat application that will auto sign your apks!!
All you gotta do is just place the apk to sign in apk_in folder and then run the sign.bat and find your signed apk in apk_out folder!!
Simple tool!! I havn't tested it on system apps but works well for normal ones!!
