[APP] Swype Widescreen fix for JM6/JMA+

EDIT: Since I'm not allowed to post links directly to the Swype version that is fixed, I will instead show you how to make it work.
Since its a simple fix, here is the version of Swype that properly scales in widescreen/landscape!
It is a lot better than the one that comes with stock JM6/JMA.
Noob friendly installation guide:
Go to:
Now, to open the RFS file:
then
-Move files over to your device
-Go to Settings-> Applications-> All-> Swype
-Select Force Stop
-Clear settings
next
-Use Root Explorer (mount as R/W) to copy over Swype.apk to ->System/App
-Overwrite old apk
-Set permissions to rw-r--r-- (to set permissions tap the file and hold for menu)
-Copy over libSwypeCore.so to ->System/lib
-Overwrite old apk
-Set permissions to rw-r--r--
-Exit, switch to swype
-Switch to landscape mode and test..
-Delete facebook
-Hit the gym
-Profit...?

LOL think again, you cant direct someone to other sites.
Especially making members having to sign up to another site.
Listen swype will not be linked or hosted on XDA.
Give up bud
XDA considers swype as warez.

The facebook home apk can be installed as normal, it's only restricted via the market. the other apps will just update

[APP] AOSP Browser 4.3 (root required)

Salut,
for all of you, who don't like Chrome, here is the original AOSP Browser 4.3 with the optional BookmarkSync if you like.
I modded the Browser, so that the search-bug is gone. All AOSPs had weird strings for "search on page", I added the english and german resource strings and ID.
Just move the Browser.apk to /system/app and set the permissions to rw-r--r--
If you like, you may also install ChromeBookmarksSyncAdapter.apk (same way as above), so that your bookmarks from your Google account are synced, but this is optional.
If you encounter a Force Close after starting, delete or rename BrowserProviderProxy.apk and BrowserProviderProxy.odex (if you don't have a deodexed ROM) and reboot, then it should work.
Enjoy!
PS: This is Adobe Flash "ready" - if you want Flash, you need to install Flash for sure, but the Browser is capable of using it

I tried several Flash versions, all of them had issues, but the old one 11.1.115.11 works fine for me:

Thanks for this but having a problem. When trying to launch browser I get unfortunately, browser has stopped force close.

Are the permissions set correctly? rw- r-- r-- (644)?
Have you installed the SyncAdapter too?
If not, do it and try again.
If then again an error occurs, try it with freezing BrowserProxyProvider.apk, this should help as some users report in another thread.

Fixed just done a search on here and found out that I needed to rename BrowserProviderProxy.apk just added a 1 on the extention so it looks like BrowserProviderProxy.apk1
reboot and all is working.
Enabled the browser sync under my google account and now see all my bookmarks.

Weird is, I didn't need to rename or delete anything, BrowserProxyProvider is just there... Will put this in the OP anyway, thanks for your feedback!

[APP/THEME]Music Player JB

Hello guys,
This is my first themes Music Player app. I have made the buttons a little more simple looking some light additions to the theme.
Tested Samsung Galaxy GT-i9100.
Tested on Jelly Snap 4.3.3 v.7 ROM.
I dont know if this can be used on other models or not, if someone could give any info about it?

Details / Requirements:
Type: System App
1. Phone must be rooted.
2. Any root explorer will be required to push app to "/system/app" folder, or you can use adb if you know about it.
3. "app" folder must be on "777" permission to be able to push file.
How to install:
1. Stop "Music Player" service/process from settings > applications > all.
2. Goto "system/app" folder using root browser and delete "MusicPlayer.apk".
3. Copy downloaded apk file to sdcard root.
4. using root browser or adb, push the file to "/system/app" folder.
5. Changle the file permissions to "777"
6. Press apk file and tap "install".
---------------------------------
You may require to reboot the phone after deleting original apk and after installing themed apk file.

Music player updated to V.2, new widget design. See first post

APK with around 500 fonts for 5.0 Lollipop (NKD, NL9 & OA6) and S6 Edge Port.

This is an APK with around 500 fonts; I made it to work with the 5.0 Lollipop (NKD, NL9 & OA6) and S6 Edge Port.
Special Thanks @ DevilDog512 for providing the fonts.
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Utilizing Root Explorer or similar APK. go into system/app/SamsungSans folder.
2. Once in the SamsungSans folder, right click the SamsungSans apk. Rename, and move it to the SD Card. (This for backup purposes)
3. Now go to the ModedSamsungSans apk., and place it into the system/app/SamsungSans folder. Rename it to SamsungSans and right click on it to change PERMISSIONS to rw r r.
4. Exit out...and go to the Phone Settings/Display/fonts and you should see all the new fonts. ( If fonts are not there, Restart)
NOTE: Once in Root Explorer, change the Tab that says R/W to R/O

Works well. The only thing I've encountered is doubles. When you open the app, most of the choices are double.

@ prboy1969... I just re-installed it in my phone and is working fine...attached is a screenshot. If someone else that has done it and is getting the same problem, please advice.
The APK was re-uploaded again...just in case it was a bad upload... I will look into it some more!

Skidiver I'm thinking it may just be an issue with my setup . I downloaded the new upload. Still getting the same result. But as I mentioned before. It's not a big deal to me. The FONTs apk still works properly. No issues choosing, or changing fonts. It's really nice having so many choices. So the doubles thing is minor to me.
