Hi does someone has the headset button working for skipping etc. on Android HD 20.1 ? Or is there a other rom that has support for this ?
they do not work on android, just on IOS
EDIT: actually only the center button works and there are some apps in the google play that can change that functions
I know about the apps, they did work on ice cream but stopped working on jelly bean

in that case there's nothing to do i guess, but if you're and high level C/C++ dev you can create some drivers for it

Hey guys!
I am currently running MIUI (Freshly Squeezed) and loving the rom, but it laggs MAP so I can sync SMS and calls with my HP Touchpad
So I would love to know if one of the roms support it, or if there is an app on the market? I am pretty sure that our phone can do it!
Up to the top
Noticed GTA III is showing as not compatible with Desire Z/G2
Anyone know a reason why is it dual core??
Found an official compatibility list
Apple iOS devices: iPad 1 and 2, iPhone 4 and 4S, fourth-gen iPod Touch
Android phones: HTC Rezound, LG Optimus 2x, Motorola Atrix 4G, Motorola Droid X2, Motorola Photon 4G, Samsung Galaxy R, T-Mobile G2x
Android tablets: Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Toshiba Thrive
Oh er, I've just downloaded it.. Got to wait until I get home on WIFI to download the 400MB data files though.
Reading the comments, someone has been playing it on an original Desire so although it may not be "supported" but may still work.
Craig
it works on my desire (i have it from applanet), but too slow, what it makes unplayable
I just downloaded it and it works/plays amazing!! Only negative thing is the sound cuts in and out on the opening cut-scene, otherwise its perfect.
G2...the phone that never quits
same here,
only overclock to 1 GHz and it work's great with MIUI 1.12.09 and Pershoot's newest Kernel
Market won't let me load it on to my phone, I assume I'd have to buy it and find the APK elsewhere?

If you have change your LCD density, i can appear as not compatible with your phone, try to go back to stock density (240)
side loaded the apk, downloaded data via wifi.....runs great [email protected] on cm7.1 stable...stock kernel
Not so great on my phone running RcMix3D runny 4.0
Overclocked to 1.5ghz and still choppy

I have been playing the game on Virtuous Unity and the game is choppy. Also, the game appeared right on my market. It doesn't appear on my Xperia Play market, but that is probably cause of my custom DPI settings on it.
Looks like its now compatible with DZ very playable on bulletproof EOL with pershoot kernel
Shame its got no keyboard mapping support for controls so I can use my gamegripper
I love this phone!

Anybody have a download link to this??

Uninstall market updates. I never get the incompatible message on apps with the original market. Or just sideload or search the Amazon app store
Bought it legally, only thing is that it downlaoded me the last version, not supporting anymore desire z, so I must play it with Chainfire 3D
Anyone kno0w how to play this game with the keyboard? ( W,A,S,D ) just like the computer.... cuz on screen controls sucks!

Yes but its a bit contrived.
I use game keyboard from the market to map dpad controls to the dz keyboard works really well with my gamegripper
This setup also works with onlive which totally improves gameplay

played it smooth on IWLT rom
some people from russian forums removed sounds and say its extra smooth then
Hi there,
i see a lot of thread with lists of must-have apps for Android. But what about must-have apps optimized for Android 4.0 (or 3.0) ?
You know, the ones using the native Action Bar (no menu button in the Navigation Bar), Holo themes and following the awesome new design guidelines ?
For now, i've just found Dropbox, and some of Google's apps (Reader and Earth for exemple).
Do you have some more ? I'ld love to see a nice and simple file manager for exemple.
Root Explorer is ICS optimized and works great

I have just been thinking about this too.
Due Today is ICS optimised and looks great.
BeyondPod is not quite there yet. Recent updates mean that the now playing screen look very nice but the other screens still need work and the settings are still in the wrong place.
Thanks!
I tested both free versions of Due Today and Root Explorer, and none of them are using the Holo theme nor Action Bar (for exemple). Maybe the paid version are.
Actually, even some Google Apps aren't really ICS optimized (Google Navigation and Google Goggles for exemple), which is kinda disappointing.
Dropbox, Gigbeat, MX Video Player, SmartPhone, Ultimate Stopwatch
there's also podkicker to check out for podcasts

Reddit is fun is starting to use the ICS theme
Netflix is. It hides the nav buttons. Not in terms of UI though if that's what you mean.
Bacon Reader for Reddit has a nice interface that is ICS-ish
Yup, i was talking about UI mainly, but those kind of compatibility are welcome (but sadly no Netflix here in France).
Just tested Gigbeat (already awesome on Gingerbread) and MX Video Player : that's exactly what i'm looking for, thanks!
I'll try to update the first post with those apps.
Sweet

Here a file explorer with ICS style

i have tried a few apps for controlling music via my ear phones which are good till i got my jellybean update now they are not working is there is any app available please let me know
thanks in advance

Android 4.3 has officially been announced – it's been in the wild on Google Play Edition devices for a while, but the unveiling was put off for today. So, what's new? Well, 4.3 is a minor upgrade so it brings minor improvements and refines the user experience, rather than delivering game-changing features.
Multi-user support was introduced in 4.2 and it's updated in 4.3 with the new restricted profiles. A restricted profile can limit what content and apps can be used – even limit in-app stuff like what levels of a game can be played.
The suite of stock apps has been updated - Hangouts now officially replaces Talk and Keep is available out of the box. The Drive, Chrome and Maps applications have been revamped too.
The way Android handles notifications has been changed too. For one, you can view your notification history. Also, third party apps have access to notifications, which will help smart watches and apps that sync notifications across devices.
There are plenty of changes under the hood too. OpenGL ES 3.0 is now supported (Google presented impressive improvements in 3D game graphics) and the graphics stack should be faster overall. For games, Google unveiled the Google Play Games app, which lets you keep track of what your friends are playing and a leader board of achievements in the game.
The "master key" exploit has been incorporated into Android 4.3, of course.
Bluetooth 4.0 with Low Energy mode (low power usage and longer range for low-bandwidth accessories like those fitness tracking gadgets) is now supported in stock Android. Before, each maker had to roll its own drivers. Also for Bluetooth, AVRCP 1.3 is supported, meaning the phone can stream metadata about the currently playing song to the wireless speakers (or your car's stereo).
Wi-Fi can be kept on at all times to determine your position, even when you toggle it off.
A new hardware-based encryption for DRM has been added so content providers will be more willing to stream high-quality content. A new Netflix app is among the first to make use of this and streams 1080p video (it's now available in the Play Store).
An Android 4.3 update will be available on Nexus devices from the Galaxy Nexus up (4, 7, 10, you name it). Google Play devices - Galaxy S4 and Nexus One Google Play Edition will get the update soon too.

Wonder if erickas or maclaw are gonna make 4.3 Android?

I think Maclaw made the last CM10.1 (Android 4.2.2) version and I think CM10.2 is Androud 4.3. It's just a matter of time when we get this, god i just hope it will be faster and better with battery life :V

Well yes, but I did see somewhere information that it will be faster and will be better on battery life because of the new BT stuff. However yes it was on this thread too i think
Not sure about that too cuz the bluetooth battery saver might be only for bt 4.0 unless the things are ported

Just back to hoping for kernel 3+ and a non-laggy or less-laggy than CM10, since CM10 is much smoother than CM10.1
