R: [Q] kernel
I don't think so. Cm9 runs with titanium kiss but Cm9 is still ics, sense is ics, cm10 jb, it's totally different

okay, i thought that already, but myOneV and cm9 are running on the same kernel, right?

I hope you know what you're doing as you can't "overclock a ROM" but the cpu only
Regarding recommendations I can't help though as I don't know those roms.
Swyped from my HTC Wildfire (Buzz)
I think, Sympfinity is good.

Im french so i don't speak english very well. But yes when i was talking to oc it was for cpu.
I already try symp kernel but the wifi don't work after flash it.Did anyone have the nfinity kernel and can upload it? I never try it .Somebody say that the best kernel for ics but i don't found this kernel.

Isn't the stock kernel that comes with cm9 arco's nfinity? Just reflash the rom to get the old kernel back, which is also overclockable.

seems like the WIFI of ErwinP:'s ICS build works if I'm not mistaken (don't know what kernel it has, though)
nFinity: arco has put flashable zips into this post a while ago - don't know if it's most current version though: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1015532
There's also this one which you could try (seen it in many threads): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=798471
hope it helps

[Q] 2-way call recording on DZ?

I bought CallRecorder app from skavlex, but i doesn't worked. After short conversation with him i found out that i need kernel with enabled 2-way recording. I google it and found this -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1048182. Yeah, but my kernel version is 2.6.35. So i can't figure it out is my ROM based on 2.6.32 (updated to 2.6.35) or it is based directly on 2.6.35.
Code:
Android 2.3.3
HTC Sense 2.1
Kernel 2.6.35.10-g53a84f9
Root, S-OFF, CWM Recovery
I'm open for suggestions for ROMs with 2-way recording enabled too

I have tried Virtuous Infinity v1.33.0 Alpha3 (General) by suggestion of skavlex but flashing was aborted with reason (bad) (I use CWM recovery console for flashing roms).
So if there isn't kernel for my stock rom with 2way recording, can someone suggest stable ROM with such a kernel?

If you're looking for a great AOSP and up-to-date features you should try KXP and Fusion Kernel.

It is also a good kernel but will it work on this Rom.. KTG anzu kernel dev says that it is for stock ics..!! Can I use this?

ktg works for ICS stock and other roms that are based on stock.
maybe he confused with the AOKP rom based on CM10.
and what aokp rom based on ics 4.0.4 you will install? I do not know.
I mean this Rom :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1609516

ok friend?
I looked at the rom you mentioned and as I said I really did not know. It is based on CM9, CM9 soon only a kernel will work. The kernel KTG I said before will not work in this rom. The zip of the rom already comes with a kernel, but I suppose you want a better kernel but, as you can check, developers are focused on developing for CM10 and stock, then there is not much choice. I even use the rom AOKP but based on CM10 with the FUSION kernel and works very well, I have no complaints. Give it a try. Good luck

Try flashing latest radio. Maybe it'll help.

If nothing helps then i'm afraid if it will be hardware problem. Probably ur wifi module is broken. Do u have problems with 3g and mobile data?

If it wont work only on ICS roms i dont know.
If it works on GB or ... than its not hardware
Just make sure you do correct wiping before flashing, maybe its that thing with that thing

when official cwm recovery dosent work i guess..
anyways people now all cm9.1 and cm10 will rom work on wildfire s 2012 model..(As that patched kernel only works with cm10 previous)
but i made cm9.1 kernel ( same kernel but in different way)it ll work on cm9.1 roms too.
and we have already kernel for cm7 too..ofcz sense roms work without any another kernel.
so all cm7/cm9/cm10 roms will work on wildfire s 2012 model..cheers

If you have a custom rom installed and you wish to install an updated version of it, most of the times you can do it without factory reset wipe, so you don't lose your data. However wipe cache/dalvik is recommended, and furthermore, installing after a factory reset wipe is strongly recommended, because some times you may get bugs (e.g. in cm10 roms I had problems with link2sd and some other times lag..). This is how I get it from my experience.
