If you're looking for a great AOSP and up-to-date features you should try KXP and Fusion Kernel.
KXP here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859518
Fusion here (wifi modules are inside dthe zip file): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1926299

Thnx.. But the AOKP Rom u stated above is based on JB.. I think it is not stable yet for everyday use.. I want to use aokp ics 4.0.4 ..

:good:

Thank u very much....
It is also a good kernel but will it work on this Rom.. KTG anzu kernel dev says that it is for stock ics..!! Can I use this?
Sent from my LT15i using xda premium

ktg works for ICS stock and other roms that are based on stock.
maybe he confused with the AOKP rom based on CM10.
and what aokp rom based on ics 4.0.4 you will install? I do not know.

I mean this Rom :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1609516

ok friend?
I looked at the rom you mentioned and as I said I really did not know. It is based on CM9, CM9 soon only a kernel will work. The kernel KTG I said before will not work in this rom. The zip of the rom already comes with a kernel, but I suppose you want a better kernel but, as you can check, developers are focused on developing for CM10 and stock, then there is not much choice. I even use the rom AOKP but based on CM10 with the FUSION kernel and works very well, I have no complaints. Give it a try. Good luck

Could u please giv me a link?
Seriously .... its obvious. Do you have the GSM version or the CDMA . The code name is Zeus for gsm and zeusc for cdma. You can get them on get.cm/?device= if you have a Zeus or zeusc

GSM, not the rom, kernel and instructions.
Hmmm, i ended up in a bootloop.
I flashed rom, then lupus cm9 kernel.

Why don't you use one of the CM9 GSM ROMs in the Development subforum? These you can use the included kernel so you're sure it'll work.
U need to flash the kernel 1st.

Ohh, so flashing an ICS ROM is the same as flashing a GB one?

I want install cm9 Rom
Which one is best of them and how can I install it?(I install experimental or stable or ...)
Plz help me thanks for you're help guys
Cm9 is ics... You need a custom kernel wedgess has a cm9 based kernel but if you want you could use the kernel that comes with cm9.

So is the kernel inside it?
And I should flash the kernel then flash the Rom via recovery?
And do you think which one is better cm10 or cm9?
Well cm9 is ics, cm10 is jb. The kernel should be in the zip. Just extract it. Then rezip. Install kernel with flashtool.... Then install rom from recovery.
With jb not much is working right... Personally I would go with ics.

I'd say the one that came with it, stick with that one :good:
The other kernels are not stables. Stay with the "stock" CM kernel.
This is the best.

And what about Nova Kernel?

The Nova kernel is for JB roms. Cm9.1 is ICS. I tried the first version of the kernel when released as it supposedly supported CM9 but didn't boot.
Stock kernel is great. I got 3hrs of screen on time streaming hd video from YouTube yesterday.

Ktoonsez KT747 will work on TW ICS. I'm using it on AOKP 4.2.1 and it is stellar. You can find it in the original android development section.
what's the different between TW and ICS because there is 2 kernels over there one for TW and one for ICS?
THANKS
TW is if your on stock and still use touchwiz. ICS is if you're rooted and on an AOSP based ROM such as CM or AOKP.
And if i'm stock ics rooted?

Then use the TW version. If you are to flash a new ROM, you'll need to re flash the kernel. Additionally, if you flash an AOSP ROM, be sure to flash the AOSP variant.

Trying to decide which rom is proper to my Defy+, need some help

Hi all,
I got confused from all of the ROMs selection.
I need it to support Multi language (RTL), to be stable and bug free, fast and good battery. Is there any 4+ ROM that include it all ?
For now I flashed the latest CM9 build (Epsylon3) from here -
http://defy.wdscript.fr/defyplus-cm9/
But I can see that CM9 based ROMs is getting less and less popular...
I don't know which to choose from MIUI (WIUI), CM7.2, CM9 and CM10.
Please help me from your experience.
Thank you :good:
