looking for a fast rom! using, ligux.

I don't really care what android it actually is. I just tired of waiting 20 or 40 second for the diler to load up

In that case,any sense ROM would be a best bet.

I'm using CM 7.2 and everything is running very smooth and quick, even after several apps have been installed.

i recommend those roms:
rem puzzle rom (froyo)
cm 7.2 (gingerbread)
ics style by JM (gb)
joyOS by KoolSavas (gb)
i found tbise roms the fastest and the most stable. i think that the best one is cm 7.2 lastest version :3

Try to reinstal the app , reboot in recovery wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache and if that doesn't work, ask too elia122 to fix it in the rom thread .

actually i think problem is arise due to i was not using stock charger for sometime i also tried different roms but it was waste of time i need a perfect solution for that

I have tried two rom: Cn9 and ligux. Ligux is faster than Cn9 and more stable. Many involontary reboot with Cn9.

cm7.2 is very smooth and good.. cm9 is slow,,

if cwm recovery isn't working.
try TWRP recovery.
download goo manager from market and flash TWRP recovery from it.then flash cm9.1 again.
or check ur steps again like you wipe everything correctly and your rom zip isn't corrupted.

I tried goo manager and downloaded twrp recovery and installed it but when i reebooted into recovery my phone strucks with white HTC logo.. and i tried by wiping all the data correctly and instalation of cm9.1 is also done through the modified cwm recovery . when i reeboted , Once again my phone strucks at White HTC logo .. so i restored my backup file ..Otherwise pls help me by telling the other custom roms of ics

You have a 2012 Wildfire S. Only The modified CWM which you used earlier will work. And no CM Roms will work. Tough luck. You need to use stock based Roms.

Our phone is old, we don't have ics or jb stocks. Only gingerbread. Stick with it now, nothing can be done.

We do NOT have ICS or JB stock Roms. So no ICS and JB Rom will work for you, they are all CM based. Don't even try CM7. Go for Sense 2.1 Roms only. Otherwise, you'll be stuck in a bootloop.

nope.its cm9 based.
if your phone supports only stock sense based rom,there are some 2.1 sense and 3.5 sense based rom available.

Look in the development section for Wildchild. Or go to androidforums.com and find disciplexone's sense Roms.

Dude i have a question u said that since my phone is new i cant install custom roms bcoz of my stock rom.. but i have a doubt if i install ur stock rom 2.13.720.1 which i read in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34912509
If its done. Then am i able to run any custom rom or not.. plz clarify me

Help with ROM

I have decided to finally root my phone
i have been reading the rooting tutorials and also about installing roms.I have some questions about CM10 is it stable and without bugs?
Also can anybody here advice me as to which ROM i should use. I want the phone to be fast and it should also have overclocking provision..
I'm a noob about this so please advice.
And also do i need to use Hellboy kernel for CM10
I'm a bit confused with flashing/installing kernels n Rom..

I will try cm10 in 1 or two days and will update you asap.
Right now I am using aokp 4.1.2 primeOu ROM.
It is a good one. But having some serious bugs with camcorder, voice calls, music player.
But the ROM is very fast.
And regarding over clocking u will get it inside aokp its up to 1497MHz.

First of all, cm10 does not have bugs.
Secondly, over clocking is a provision of the kernel and NOT the ROM.

ok so i did everything mentioned in this tutorial to root HTC One V using superboot

But after i double click on install superboot windows.bat file, the cmd opens and closes within a second..and nothing happens with the phone...i restarted it and it was working fine..
Can anybody tell me what wrong have i done?

So i have succesfully flashed CM10 ROM...and everything is working fine..apart from google play app...i installed it and it opens for a second and then closes..i have to install apps by downloading the apk..through pc or from phones browser..
Any solution for this problem?

Yeah factory reset is necessary with wipe cache. And to be sure I suggest to follow the whole procedure again. And use the same gapps given by mr_nooby. Those are the best to go with cm10.

I have some more questions about CM10
1) In the Cpu Overclock menu what should be the min frequency..by default it is 245mhz..should i increase it? I have kept the Max Frequeny to 1497mhz..does increasing the min frequency has any effect on the phones performance..??
2)Whenever i install any app on my phone "Unfortunatley Hwa settings have stopped" msg comes...any solution for this.?? and what are Hwa settings??

Well for question 1 increasing the min frequency will improve performance however as you may know overclocking wastes battery. It's up to you.

Camera: there is an aplication MIUI camera app...
Performance: Yes u can pick ur processor speed and test around, It all depends on ur usage and games.
Youtube: Yes that works, as far as I tested.
I need someone else to test it and tell me what would they like in it

Ok... Deodex, some tweaks - battery, screenbug etc, Battery - it all depends from ur usage great battery life. Screen... no autobrightness bug I fixed it. It's my first rom so it isn't really like wow but it sure is worth trying it. NOOO bugs. I just fixed all cm9 bugs and made a few changes

Mate, if you've really done everything you say you've done, there is no reason why you wouldn't want to share your solution.
This is a dev forum, people are here to learn and help each other out.
When releasing a new rom, people generally want complete information before flashing something that could potentially ruin their phone.
Screenshots, List of Features, Compatibility, Etc.
Also, crediting people with what is due is a nice thing to do, seeing how I highly doubt you found the solutions to everything on your own.
Patience is VERY important, repeatedly asking "DID ANYONE TRY MY ROM?" isn't going to get you anywhere.

[Q] WFS 2012 model , any gingerbread roms?

I have a marvel , rooted with cwm recovery installed. I have this problem when i am flashing roms, I flashed cm10.1 and aokp 4.2 and stock rom and got no problems but when i am installing gingerbread based custom roms like wildjoy and cm7 , i always get stucked at the htc logo do u guys know a gingerbread rom compatible to 2012 wfs?

When i try cm7.2 (android 2.3.7 GB) i use any kernel befor install but i forgot which kernel
Try find on other post on xda developers
I install cm7.2 on one attempt
And dont forgott before instal rom do wipe all (factory,cahce,dalwik,battery)

I did that already. When im trying to install any gingerbread roms except the stock sense rom, i always get stucked. just stayed with cm 10.1.

TRY change kernel
