You just need to mount your SD in CWM and copy ! That's simple !
If you formatt system and you restart on Lock BL ? So flash back stock ftf

1) If you can boot in CWM, boot there, connect phone to computer, mount USB and copy your files.
2) If you can't boot in CWM I think you must flash Stock Rom via Flashtool, get Root, install CWM and try to install Custom Rom again ))
If you wipe system with locked bootloader and X-Parts installed it will be gone because it´s installed in /system partition.
You need to download latest Flashtool from http://androxyde.github.com/ and flash .587 FTF file for Arc S (https://hotfile.com/dl/167361348/43349db/LT18i_4.1.B.0.587_(1254-2716).ftf.html).
Just install flashtool and then install the flashtool-drivers from drivers folder(where you have installed flashtool).
copy the ftf file into Firmwares folder(where you have installed flashtool).
Then start Flashtool and click on the flashbutton choose flash mode and then ur downloaded ftf. Don´t forget to check "no final verification" and click flash. Then follow the instructions.
Hope i don´t need to write that again. Please do some research on google next time

Did you format only /data?
You have to wipe /system also.
So
flash kernel
go to CWM
format, /cache, /data, /system
flash CyaongenMod .zip
reboot (not necessary)
flash gapps
boot to system
Always works for me.

this happens on every non-stock based rom. i have the same problem. if you search this forum for "touchscreen" you will find a lot of threads with this problem.every time without a solution.
FXP said in the cm10 thread "flash latest stock rom (ftf) and let it boot. this will update the touchscreendriver." but even this didn't worked for me or the one who asked.
the problem is, that the touchscreen works normaly in 1 of 20 boots, its randomly, then everything is perfect till i have to reboot...
maybe the kernel do not load our touchscreen driver correctly but why it works sometimes?
if any developer (from germany/berlin) wants to see this problem he can contact me. cause i dont think that anyone can find a solution without being able to reproduce the problem.

I tried to read carefully the install Cynogenmod. maybe this is a stupid question. purpose of
"Place the CyanogenMod update.zip file on the root of the SD card.
Optional: Place the Google Apps. Zip on the root of the SD card also. "
whether this is related to the inability of the touchscreen driver.
The next stupid question. is there a difference flashing kernel using flashtool and fastboot comand prompt ... most of the day, I tried different ways to install it and try to see the bugg in cyanogen forum.
Flashing CyanogenMod
If the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc has been rooted, unlocked, etc. through steps other than the method described above or running a custom ROM other than CyanogenMod and you are having issues flashing or booting CyanogenMod, it is recommended the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc be returned to stock & start over with the full instructions provided above.
Download the latest version of CyanogenMod.
Optional: Download the Google Apps for the device.
Extract the boot.img from the CyanogenMod update.zip and copy it to the same folder as fastboot (the /platform-tools folder within the Android SDK folder).
Place the CyanogenMod update.zip file on the root of the SD card.
Optional: Place the Google Apps .zip on the root of the SD card also.
Disconnect the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc from the computer and power it off.
Press & hold the Menu button while connecting the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc to the computer.
On the computer, open terminal and run the following command:
fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img
fastboot -i 0xfce reboot
While the device is reboot press the Volume Rockers a few times to boot into the ClockworkMod Recovery.
Once the device boots into the ClockworkMod Recovery, use the side Volume Rocker to move around. Use the Power or Camera button to select.
Optional: Select backup and restore to create a backup of current installation on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.
Select the option to Wipe data/factory reset.
Then select the option to Wipe cache partition.
Select Install zip from sdcard.
Select Choose zip from sdcard.
Select the CyanogenMod update.zip.
Optional: Install the Google Apps by performing steps 11 - 12 again and choosing the Google Apps update.zip.
Once the installation has finished, select +++++Go Back+++++ to get back to the main menu, and select the Reboot system now option. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc should now boot into CyanogenMod. If you don't see a menu item named +++++Go Back+++++ then try the back key of the device.

Flashing kernel using flashtool or fastboot does not make a difference. Neither does where the file is located, but I leave it in the root to find it easily.

Hello Guys,
I have a major problem with my HTC one X .. Let me tell u the story from the beginning. I was installing a ROM a specifically this one and I installed the kernel and all fine .. The phone booted and it was working perfectly but there was a problem with the keyboard that whenever it runs it crashed and I couldn't fix it. I said I will restore my old ROM that I saved with the recovery mood while I was installing the new one. I restored it and everything was restored perfectly. Then I got another ROM this one and I installed it ... I copied the zip file to the sdcard and then I restarted my phone in the fastboot mode to install the kernel and install the ROM as usual. I installed the kernel of the ROM using fastboot and then I entered to the recovery mood to install the ROM and complete my installation. BUT when I entered to the sdcard from the recovery mood I found nothing !! as if the sdcard has been formatted ... or as if someone deleted some files .. I couldn't find my ROM.zip though I am sure I copied it .. I couldn't find anything ... I tried to restore my old ROM and fix the issue but when I tried to restore I got no file found the ClockworkMod is not able to find the backup image as I am not able to find my backup image ... Now the phone is not booting and I don't have any access except to the fastboot mood and the ClockworkMod recovery. Is there anyways I can reach the sdcard to copy a ROM and to install the kernel to be able to boot .. .. or how can I boot and fix this issue. Please help me guys . ...
Ow first thing : enter the recovery and mount the sdcard as a mass storage device/usb diskdrive
When you mount the sdcard as a mass storage device in the recovery .... is there a sdcard\O dir ?
If so copy it all from that dir back to the root of the sdcard !

Thank you Mr Hofs all worked great I had access to the sdcard and I was able to flash a new ROM but now I have some problems ..
I flashed the cyngmod rom and it worked pefectly but when I install gapps the keyboard stopped working and many applications .. would u mind if u suggest me a good jb 4.2.1 ROM + gapps that u tested which stable and working perfectly .
I never tested a single CM10 but did you install gapps directly after installing the rom without reboot ? Otherwise try the CM10.1 seems pretty well in my opinion !

I rebooted to the recovery mood and then I installed the gapps .... that "they said" it should work perfectly and then I rebooted but they keyboard keep crashing and the googplay ... simply .. I can do nothing :S :S

Same exact problem !!
here are the steps exactly
1- erased the cache
2- Installed the kernel
3- erased the cache again
then I went to recvoery mod
1- Install ROM
2- install gapps
3- reboot
when I rebooted keyboard is not running and it keeps crashing !! :S :S
Wiping cache will not do the trick. Use the wipe/factory reset option in recovery before installing rom and gapps.
I did .. I usually before I install the ROM I wipe
1- data/factory-reset
2- cache
3- delvik cache
Also wipe in mounts and storage
Format cache
Format data
Format system
To be sure and then install the rom.zip

If you had any experience, i would laugh the crap outta me xD
But you download it as a zip right? Don't and really don't extract it, place it on you sdcard. Do all the wipes, and then flash the zip.
If you have a nandroid backup, restore the backup first to get in the system and copy the zip to the sdcard.
But if you haven't, you can do this:
Go in recovery --> mounts amd storage --> you need to see "unmount /system" and "unmount /sdcard/" (if you see "mount" instead of "unmount", scroll to it and push power button once. Then connect to pc. Install fastboot (which you needed to root your phone), then place the zip folder in the same directory as the fastboot drivers. Then open cmd (i recommend you to do Shift+Right Click in the folder, then select "Run command prompt". You don't need to cd then xD) and first do this for a little check: adb devices. When it shows your device (number + recovery), type this: adb push ROMNAME.zip /sdcard/ROMNAME.zip (replace ROMNAME.zip with the exact name of the zip, i recommend to give the zip an easy name). Then wait for it to complete, and flash it!
When you don't have a nandroid backup and not enough space free on sd, you can do it in a micro-sd reader. If you don't have one, buy one. If you don't want to, you're f*ucked.
Hope this helped

Hi there,
Please i need help,
I succesfully unlocked bootloader, install CWM and flash file, but i forgot to copy second file to phone. Now i can boot only too CWM or Fastboot and i need to copy rom file to phone ( One X).
Mounting in CWM not working
Thanks for help.
That is fairly easy...
Go into recovery, then select mount and from there mount mass storage, plug it in and there you go.
EDIT: OK now I saw that you said "Mounting in CWM not working"...
Could you please describe the problem... is there an error or it just doesn't pop up on the pc
I REALLY HOPE that you made a backup first so if nothing helps restore your nandroid and try again.
DO NEVER ANYTHING before BACKUP
Thanks

looks like you have a soft-brick.
Download a Official-Rom, move the Update into the DLOAD-Folder,
go into the original Recovery and let it flash the file.
After this your phone should be starting normally.

I use ROOT WIZARD method....
This happened to me yesterday as well, I was about to restore apps using TB but the phone frooze and then anything made it boot. I don't know how Exactly I solved it but all I did was:
1.- Flash TWRP v3.01
2.- Wipe all the phone, including system, data, cust and internal sd
3.- From within TWRP flashed STock boot and recovery for 118CN FW.
4.- Placed 118CN UPDATE.APP in external sd/dload
5.- from within TWRP still, rebooted the phone to recovery.
6.- The phone started to flash the update from external SD.
7.- It succeded to flash files but couldn't mount /sdcard so I repeated steps above once more
8.- from stock recovery wipe/factory reset
9.- Tried the update again and voila! Phone succeded and booted just fine... Now it's been running with no issues since 2 days
I was running 118CN FW and a test kernel with some "non tested" or unstable features which I think forced the phone to frooze and then the data corruption...

Why not move to B125.
less bugs.
Better battery life and smoother...

looks like you have a soft-brick.
Download a Official-Rom, move the Update into the DLOAD-Folder,
go into the original Recovery and let it flash the file.
After this your phone should be starting normally.

how did you manage to flash the stock boot.img and recovery inside twrp???
huawei
hi thanks how do you flash with trwp? cause i am not that expert please cant use my phone
thanks
You must do it through adb.
ahhhh..
sry
but i can't even install a rom by using the adb sideload command..it fails because of "file_getprop: failed to stat "/system/build.prop": No such file or directory"
what can i do now?
tried to reload the B510..
should i try with a custom ROM?

Flash through adb stock recovery. Extract your sdcard, create on it dload folder using your PC/Laptop. In dload folder put the update.app of the ROM you want and insert back in the device the sdcard. Press volume up + volume down + power button until the HUAWEI logo appears, after that release all the buttons and the phone will start to update the firmware.
Thanks beyond..
Got it finally again..
But it was very tricky..
Had to usw the b507 by reyncla (thanks for sharing)..
I let this for now in my phone..
I tried the Method you mentioned..but i could not reach the phone by ADB directly (in twrp via ADB sideload it worked finally)..
Thanks for answering..maybe i switch sometime back to the b510 or to the official release (when it comes)..

Great. Enjoy.
Hi,
Probably after select something wrong in TouchRecoveryInstaller-v1_01 i cant start my phone any more.
- PC don't recognize usb via cable
- sd card not detected (apply update from external storage) appears ../ (E:failed to mount /sdcard (No such file of directory).
- wipe data/factory rese - does not help.
- reboot system now - blocks on logo HUAWEI Ascend
Each expert suggestion and idea is welcome and thank you.
