Buddies now.

Is it possible for one of the talented Rom devs to coorporate the old buddies now into touchwiz 4.0. the old one was an scrollable widget and the new is just a linked picture. Below is a picture of how the old buddies now looked. Much better with status up date. It had the works.
I can PM a picture of the old one if needed because I am a newbie and not allowed to post pictures yet.

Thanks but I have tried that already. When you Install, it doesn't change. Thats why I am requesting this in the Development section. The old buddies now was much better.

You don't make requests in the development section. This is a section for stuff that has been developed not requests. Just letting u know.

I'm new to xda-dev, myself. I also had some questions/comments re: Albinoman's JBbeta3 ROM, and thought this _was_ the right place to discuss such. Since I know the dev forum is the wrong place (even though it happens there), and now I'm told this is the wrong place...could someone please point me to where the right place is?

Okay, thanks. (A quick glance through the thread titles on this "General" forum reveals plenty of questions, too, so maybe I'm not the only one who's unsure...)

The proper place to ask questions, would be in Albinomans thread. If you didnt want to post there, Q/A would be acceptable. However general is a better place to start a new thread than developement section

Known issue for all JB ROMs on the Inc, but not listed in the OP. Try to cross reference CM10's OP in the mean time.

Cm10 stable on Sprint s3 signal problems!

I installed it on my brothers sprint version. Ever since he constantly has to reboot his phone for signal to retrieve 3g...at least 4 times a day. Any ideas?????

what hes trying to tell you is to ask that question in the cm10 thread located in this same section or ask it in in the Q&A section.
Threads started in this area are for devs to post ROM or Kernel info/download type stuff. There is your answer in short.

Yeah if what I said doesn't work and you have tons of time to sift through it all and try and find it. Like I just did, search apn cm10 sprint and it is a spider web. Hopefully someone sees this that doesn't know to check it that is having the problem, and maybe this will work for them. If not then hey, gotta do...

Straight talk S2

I know this may be the wrong thread but its the only forum I use since I have the Epic....
But my sister just got the S2 from straight talk and wants a case, just wondering if anyone knew the Model type so I could look it up and find one for her.

Did the link get edited? Because I just followed it and it's clearly a full breakdown of the phone the OP is referring to, including its model number. Not sure what you're seeing.

What I read was related to batteries. Either way, what's the point of it? It may or may not be what the device is, but is unrelated anyways. OP was asking about where to find a case. Its not our job to figure out what phone it is. OP has been given many ways to figure that out.

No, the OP asked us how to find out what MODEL the phone is so they can find a case. Re-read their post. It's not our "job" to do anything. We're here to be helpful. Someone above posted a link confirming what model it was, and was therefore helpful. Mis-reading both the OP's post and the link and complaining that we don't need to help isn't.

Ok, let's put it this way, if the OP can't use 2 perfectly viable options to check the model number of the phone, he is SOL on my book. There is a sticker behind the battery as I stated before. And IF that is gone he can easily go into the phone settings to get it. If that isn't available then there is no point in even posting to find out the model because the phone would obviously be broken. I understand that we are a community for sharing and helping. But we only help when a user has exhausted all means of doing it themselves and failed. He obviously hasn't checked out at least one of those options. Also, OP has failed to follow XDA rules here. This is not the correct forum for that device. If there is no such forum for that device, the question belongs in the General Q/A section of the forums and not in the E4GT section. I did read the OP but really just forgot what it entirely was about, but again, we are not here to spoon feed people.
